Xolo Q800 Benchmarks & Gaming Review - Geekyranjit

The Zolo Q800: A Powerhouse Mobile Device

Upon first glance, the Zolo Q800 appears to be a formidable mobile device, boasting a powerful GPU and an array of impressive sensors. As we take a closer look at the specs, it becomes clear that this phone is not just a pretty face - it's a powerhouse of performance. The GPU, in particular, stands out as a highlight, with the powerVR GX544 GPU providing a significant boost in processing power compared to other devices on the market.

But what really sets the Zolo Q800 apart is its impressive sensor suite. The phone features all the important sensors that one would expect from a high-end device, including a quad-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, and an IIO score of 4,804. Even the 2D and 3D benchmarking scores are respectable, with a total score of 3,973 and individual scores of 287 for 2D and 2315 for 3D. To put these scores into perspective, the Zolo Q800 is capable of producing frame rates that rival those of mid-range gaming consoles.

In terms of casual gaming, the Zolo Q800 performs admirably. We tested several popular games, including Sub Surfer, Temple Run, and Dead Trigger, and were pleased to find that each game ran smoothly without any drop frames or lag. The phone's IPS screen is also noteworthy, providing clear and crisp visuals with excellent viewing angles. Even the rear-facing camera, an 8-megapixel sensor, seems to take decent photos - although we won't be doing a full review of its performance just yet.

One notable omission from the Zolo Q800 is USB OTG support, which prevents users from attaching controllers like those used for PS3 games. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent device. Aspal 7, a notoriously demanding game, also proved to be no match for the phone's performance, running smoothly and without any lag or drop frames.

In conclusion, the Zolo Q800 is a mobile device that truly has it all. With its powerful GPU, impressive sensor suite, and excellent gaming performance, this phone is sure to please even the most discerning users. Whether you're looking for a device to tackle demanding games like Aspal 7 or simply want a phone that can keep up with your daily activities, the Zolo Q800 is definitely worth considering.
