How to Root Your Galaxy Gear Watch from Samsung

Hey guys, it's David from the Unlocker Docomo Root. Today we're going to explore how to root your Galaxy Gear watch from Samsung. This process is only compatible with Windows users and requires access to a Galaxy Gear proof device such as a Galaxy Note 3 or any other similar device.

First things first, you'll need to pair your watch with the device you plan to use for rooting. This can be done by visiting a Best Buy store and using one of their demo devices quickly before they notice anything. Alternatively, if you already have a Galaxy Gear proof device, you can simply use it. To pair the devices, pull down the notification on your Galaxy Gear watch, tap on the gear, scroll down to NFC, and turn it on.

Once the device is paired, you'll notice that the watch has a little message saying "connect me to something." You'll need to use the charging dock to hold it to the back of another device until this comes up. Click "okay" and then click "install" when prompted. Make sure the passcode on both devices is the same before proceeding.

Next, you'll be taken to a screen that says "yes yes yes." Agree with this message, and then simply say whatever response you'd like to put there (HTO thanks). Once you've completed these steps, swipe over to access settings on the watch. Tap it and scroll all the way down to "gear info." Turn USB debugging on by clicking "okay."

After enabling USB debugging, click on the Samsung USB drivers that have been downloaded to your computer and save them to your desktop. Right-click on the file and hit "extract all" to prepare for installation. Place the device in its little charging port, making sure to line up the metal things with each other, and close it up.

Plug the device into your computer via USB and proceed to download Cydia Impactor from a reputable source. Save this file to your desktop as well, and then right-click on it and hit "extract all" again. Double-click the extracted file (impactor.exe) to begin the rooting process.

You'll see a number sign drop appear on the screen; if you don't see it, simply add it there and proceed with clicking "Start." On the device, this message should say "always allow," so click "okay" and then "start" again. Wait for the entire process to finish before moving forward.

Next up is downloading WonderShare MobileGo. You can use their free trial on the app store to download it to your computer. Save the file to your desktop and proceed to search for Super SU in Google Play apps at the top of your screen. Find the free version by Chain Fire, click on it, and then hit "install."

Wait for the installation process to complete and transfer the files back to your device when prompted. You can unplug the watch from its dock if you'd like; once you've done so, swipe over to access apps on the watch. Tap to open Super SU and click "continue." The message will read "success T no thanks," which means the rooting process is now complete.

Congratulations! Your Galaxy Gear watch is now rooted and can run root required applications. From here, visit our website by clicking on "rooting jailbreaking" followed by "Android" and then "Samsung" to access a wealth of information on how to customize your device further.

okay then on the computer we're going to download wondershare mobile go uh you can use the free trial here save that to your desktop click on Google Play apps at the top search for Super SU and you'll see the one by Chain fire that's free click on that hit install wait for it to install and transfer we can unplug the gear and take it out of its little dock if we'd like and swipe over to apps and
