iOS 13 DARK MODE CONFIRMED & New iPadOS

Exciting News: iOS 13 Brings Dark Mode to iPhones

Hey guys, I wanted to get on here today and share some exciting information with you guys. Something that's been very exciting for me and I thought I'd make a video and share it with you guys now. I know you and I, most of us who follow the iOS ecosystem, have been running dark mode for the longest time on iPhones. Our prayers may be answered with iOS 13.

Now, here's why I say that. In a report today from Bloomberg, according to people familiar with Apple's plans, iOS 13 will be bringing dark mode to the iPhone. This makes a whole lot of sense in regards to battery performance, battery health, display, and display health. Because the benefits of an OLED display, such as the iPhone 10, 10s, and Pro Max, have the ability to turn off individual pixels. For example, this isn't entirely dark wallpaper that you see here; so anything that's black on surrounding colors is turned off.

That number one preserves the display, and number two increases the battery performance in the battery health by a long shot. We've seen sort of dark mode elements within iOS before, with certain applications doing feature this dark mode theme to them, and we've seen Apple implement this through iOS over the last several years. But not a full dark mode has been featured on the iPhone as of yet. And I was right, iOS 13 could be the software that could be bringing an official dark mode to iOS.

Now, I'm very happy to report this. There's a reason for this video being super excited when I read this article, which by the way, I'll link in the description. And I know a lot of you guys really want this feature. Like I mentioned, this brings so many benefits, even nighttime viewing. For example, if we're in settings and we're looking at settings and settings as a dark mode, then that's really easy on the eye instead of these white blasting colors right on your eyes which really do not help at night.

So, I think the ability for Apple to bring dark mode on an OLED display is not only a feature but an actual benefit for the user and the device. It's a cell phone, after all. The article also talks about CarPlay and improvements to CarPlay coming in with iOS 13, as well as very interesting specific updates to the iPad's homescreen. So, the interaction with the iPad's homes Green will be almost different from what it is on iPhone.

That's an improvement, I always thought that the iPad should have a standalone operating system including better file management coming to the iPad with iOS 13, as well. Let me know what you think in those comments down below. Are you one of those that really do care for dark mode and the reasons why you care? I would like to know in those comments down below.

I wanted to share this very exciting news with you guys and I'll see you guys on the next one.
