morning and not only because of the weather but also because of the car we have an Audi individual mango yellow Audi R8 V10 plus the 2016 model so that's the pre-facelift the one I prefer and today I'm going to tell you why you should get this car if you can it's an incredible value right now especially if you get one of these individual specs because everything is individual on this car so we have yellow brake calipers which has been done by the owner after you purchase this car go check him out he's a very very nice guy he's had the car for two months and he already put a quick silver exhaust on here which is just borderline between awesome and ridiculous so it's right on that edge which might be the best position for an exhaust to be so we have huge ceramic brakes which is standard on the plus model we have a black V10 badge right there a carbon fiber little front lip which looks really really good carbide mirror caps the carbon side blade very very nice Michelin Pilot Sport 4 stars now these tires on this car is a match made in heaven as it's usually the case with the 4S tires but I have really pushed this car in the corners and these tires are just perfect you get lots of feedback lots of grip and I just love them it's a very very nice upgrade for this car we have a massive carbon fiber rear spoiler stock for the plus model as is the diffuser and as you can see there is the Quicksilver exhaust which ends in this piece right here this bumper piece really really nice black Audi R8 badge and let's have a look in the front now of course that's not where the engine sits but it is a very special place to behold because as I said where is that stupid lever this is an Audi individual model so it has Alcantara with yellow stitching in here even so that's just awesome I really like that attention to detail and this really does brighten up your day because 9 out of 10 Audi R8s is some sort of shade of gray and this is just incredible I've seen probably a hundred Audi R8s and I of this gen and I think this is the nicest one I really really love this it's so important to spec your car in a special way I mean it's a special car go for something special right that's my opinion so this is where the engine sits a 5.2 liter V10 with 610 horsepower and 540 newton meters of torque zero to 100 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 320 kilometers an hour now back in the day when this car was released you also had the Lamborghini Huracan which also had 610 horsepower so this is the cheaper variant of a Lamborghini Huracan the normal one and I really prefer it to a Huracan because it's cheaper it's way more comfortable I mean doing long distance trips in this car is absolutely no issue it's sort of a 911 that way it's really really nice the seats are comfortable and just have a look at all these mango yellow details the stitching the dark gray leather the engine light no I'm kidding it's just awesome and this roof lining is just incredible all Alcantara gray alcotera with yellow diamond stitching that's awesome and all these plasticky yellow details are also really really cool to behold just a little nice detail and let me show you why this car is so incredible so little Audi exclusive badge right there yes I thought I called it Audi individual but it's Audi exclusive of course it's BMW individual that's the enemy now as I said this is a lot more comfortable than a Huracan even though they are really similar because the roof line isn't as aggressive I mean the Huracan just goes over my head barely and you just have a lot more space to sit and to yeah to move your hands like this it's just an Airy spacious car even though it's a Supercar and I think Audi have done a really incredible job and that's the theme of the whole car it's Comfort like Audi Comfort meets Supercar and the balance they've been able to get is just incredible so I'm going to remove the speedometer cam for now I'm going to put it on when we're on the Autobahn because we are going to do a launch launch control and I want you to see how fast this thing actually is spoiler alert it's really fast now as I said a 2016 model you would expect after six years that supercars have to have improved by a lot but let me tell you they have not I think this still is better than most supercars today I'm not joking I mean if I compare this to a Maserati mc20 which is twice as expensive as a used Audi R8 I would go for the cheaper Audi R8 even if the money wasn't an issue I prefer this is a 2016 model and it's still one of the best out there especially with that Quicksilver exhaust and what's also a very quick silvery is the gearbox the astronic 7-speed gearbox is just perfect there is no delay there is just the movement on you of your fingers on the pedal and it shifts like that it's incredible how good that gearbox is one of the best gearboxes ever made together with Porsche's pdk unit in the GT3 now let's give it some we've passed the houses I mean we do have to take into account that it's Sunday morning and we have a very loud exhaust let me up open up the windows again foreign that is so nice did he like that no he did not hey man that was one angry fella right I guess that is so nice you do feel that like at the center of the steering it's a bit woolly it's a bit unlike a Huracan which is just a little more nervous in that area but after that Center movement it's just a perfect car and really incredible let's go to Performance mode and do launch control oh that was 3.1 seconds to 100. Audi claims 3.2 so that's right on the money and let's go into manual mode now we have to up shift ourselves otherwise you get this oh I shouldn't up shift when I do that let's do that a second time the Revel imager sounds absolutely insane let's open up the windows again oh that is one hell of a sound so I just came out of a hurricane performante and I then got into this so I can really notice how much more comfortable this car is yes it is a lot less sharp and the performance is of course the ultimate version of a Huracan if you ask me but I would really prefer this over a normal Huracan not the performance which is a lot a lot more expensive than this but the normal one okay let's get the speedometer cam going like that and that and that oh beautiful sound from the Quicksilver exhaust on the overrun that little overpass okay one more here we go guys home run the suspension is really incredible it's soaking up the bumps and beef very communicative at the same time that's just is perfect just attend the engine at 10. steering is a little off as I said it's a little dead at the center but after that you really can really the side wall of the tire when you push it push it they have and I prefer it over the face lifter model because one think it's better looking at you and it still does a 6.4 I mean it's not as fast as let's use those Ceramics oh that is so nice me and the breaking performance man it's so nice but as I said it does it's a naturally aspirated engine and it cannot compete with today's turbocharged supercars but I mean you just saw over there it's it's fast enough right this is Supercar fast right I wouldn't want it to be any faster personally you know uh of course this engine is so strong and so over engineered that people put turbos on these engines no problem a thousand horsepower easily foreign oh my God oh my God that is so nice everything comes into place performance handling breaking tires sound gearbox and then you get out of the
