The Pokémon X and Y Games: A Comprehensive Look at the Latest Development News
Based on its 3D graphics, the latest Pokémon games resemble some of the graphics in the Pokémon Coliseum games. The game's 3D capabilities are evident in its multiple camera angles, allowing players to view their character from the front, back, and other angles. This dynamic interactivity is a significant departure from previous Pokémon games.
The Graphics: A Closer Look
The graphics in the latest Pokémon games are impressive, with detailed characters, environments, and animations. The game's art style is reminiscent of classic Pokémon games, but with a modern twist. For example, the character customization feature allows players to choose from different skin tones, hair styles, and outfits for their Pokémon. While it may not offer complete character creation, this feature is still a welcome addition to the series.
New Pokémon: Meet Fletchling and Pancham
Fans of the Pokémon franchise are excited to learn about two new Pokémon: Fletchling and Pancham. Fletchling is an electric-type Pokémon that looks like a cross between a goat and a hippo, while Pancham is a fighting-type Pokémon that resembles a panda. These new additions add to the growing roster of Pokémon in the series.
Battle Screens: A New Era for Pokémon Battles
The battle screens in the latest Pokémon games have undergone significant changes. For one, the game's menus are now more dynamic and interactive. Players can view their Pokémon's moves, stats, and other information in a clear and concise manner. The addition of chat bubbles between players adds a new layer of social interaction to the battles.
Riding on Go-Goat: A New Way to Explore
One of the most exciting features of the latest Pokémon games is the ability to ride on top of Go-Goat, a mountable Pokémon. This feature allows players to explore cities and other areas in a way that was previously impossible. While it's unclear whether this feature will replace the bicycle or serve as an HM move, it's clear that it adds a new level of excitement and exploration to the game.
Diagonal Walking: A New Way to Move
In addition to its dynamic battle screens, the latest Pokémon games also introduce a new way to move around: diagonal walking. Players can now walk through grass and other areas in a diagonal direction, rather than being limited to square-shaped movements. This small but significant change adds a new layer of realism and immersion to the game.
Conclusion
The latest Pokémon X and Y games are shaping up to be some of the best in the series yet. With their impressive graphics, dynamic battle screens, and exciting features like riding on Go-Goat, it's clear that this is going to be an incredible experience for fans of all ages. Whether you're a seasoned Pokémon veteran or new to the series, these games are sure to deliver hours of fun and adventure.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone my name is elos Vox and welcome to kind of a Pokemon X and Y breakdown as well as just a general compilation of what we know so far I'm going to be using a mix of pictures from Pokemon websites pictures captur just elsewhere as well as footage from the most recently released Gameplay trailer um to explain my points in this video If you haven't seen the Gameplay trailer yet it is up on my channel I will put links in the description and all that jazz but let's jump right into it all right so there's some Basics and I just minimized my window all right there are some Basics that I we should cover just in case you've you know been out of the loop or whatever the reason the reason the region is called Callos region or Kaos it's designed after France or you know it it resembles France and I have a map of the region available it's I don't really know if this is the ingame map or if this is simply just you know a an art a concept art for it but this is the region map that shows the different areas you will go to and the like I said the area is based off of France the gamep playay is no longer Sprite based it's 3D based it res it heavily resembles some of the graphics in the Pokémon Coliseum games and it's 3D with it looks like it has multiple camera angles cuz it shows that you can view your character from the front and from the back and things like that the graphics look really really good for a Pokémon game 3D interactive and some a couple pictures I don't know if that is simply just in that one position or if that's you know in effect for the whole game but there are pictures showing that your character look in the mirror and see a reflection of itself and so that's pretty cool that implies like a kind of dynamic interactive World which is pretty cool and also a big thing which I missed in my previous you know Pokemon news character customization yeah um I don't think it's complete character creation as you might expect from like a full formal RPG but there does there is some menus shown where you can choose like a few different presets for your character be it like skin tones and hair tones and things like that as well as you can get different outfit items for your character and change those along the way that is huge news that is something that people have wanted in Pokemon games for years and so I am extremely excited for that it's something small it's something that won't even affect gameplay but at the same time it's something you know we want it it's it's something that you can use to make the Pokémon games more your own and I really like that we also have some images of you know the new Pokemon there's Fletchling which you know these are I think the translated names now Fletchling Go goat uh hippo tile which is the electric one Pancham which is the fighting Panda some people were making a big deal because people act they thought that we were pretending that um what was it Spinda didn't exist cuz technically it was based off a panda it according to its description even though it said even though it looked mostly like a bunny but it was based off of panda but it was it was just a useless normal type like it was completely useless in the game so we're but anyway now we have some images of what the menus and stuff looks like like when you're challenged by a Pokémon trainer it shows an actual like drawing you know more of an art of the character versus just their little sprite coming into battle saying you challenged by and we have one for last Anna here um then we have the chat bubbles that appear when want to battle you those are pretty cool in this screenshot specifically it kind of just cuts off their heads so that's not necessarily the most convenient placing but whatever so the chat bubbles are kind of cool it's a you know it's not that different but at the same time it's different enough to make it feel like an original Pokemon game next we have images of the you know Pokemon description menu showing their moves and that looks really really cool I believe this is the I believe these images are what is shown on the touch touch screen judging by the aspect ratio um but the menus look pretty different they look pretty cool I like those and then of course you have riding on top on the back of Gogoat it's a mount it's a mountable Pokemon Go goat is that you can ride through cities we don't fully know if these are like if that's going to re like someone suggested it might replace the bicycle but that would imply that everyone had to have a go- go which doesn't make a whole lot of sense but it is a mountable Pokemon I it could be an HM as well we don't know just yet but that's pretty cool we have some images of you know walking through wild grass the games are going to be released on October in October 2013 and their box art can be seen as well and then oh yeah one final thing was diagonal running you or you know walking you can move diagonally you can't you don't just have to walk in like squares you can walk diagonally through grass and stuff and there's images or a gift of that as well there is also a bit from the trailer that shows your character sitting down on a bench which also goes with the dynamic environments thing that I was talking about that you know suggests that you can just kind of sit down and take a break interact with your environment and just kind of enjoy the scenery instead of having to play all the time that's really cool in my opinion thank you for watching guys I'm sorry I talked so fast and threw so much information at you but I wanted to get together a compilation of what you know general information what we know so far of the Pokémon X and Y games if you enjoyed this video be sure to
