out if you want to preferenceframe rate.Borderlands 3 was tested using the game’sbuilt in benchmark, and it was still possibleto surpass 60 FPS with the highest settingpreset in this test owing to our higher endGPU.Ghost Recon Breakpoint was also tested withthe benchmark tool, and despite being anotherresource heavy game hitting 70 FPS at ultimatesettings is a pretty good result for it.Fortnite was tested with the replay feature,and it was running without issue even at thehighest epic setting preset, though mediumsettings could get us FPS higher than the240Hz refresh rate of the display.Overwatch is another less demanding game andwas tested in the practice range.Again, even with the epic setting preset theframe rates are very high, and stepping downjust one level to ultra still hit frame ratesabove the screen’s refresh rate.CS:GO was tested using the Ulletical FPS benchmark,and although the results at max settings areabove the refresh rate of the screen, thefps is significantly less when compared toa laptop that would allow us to disable optimus,which cannot be done with the GP75.Dota 2 was tested playing in the middle lane,and the results aren’t that far off manyother laptops tested.With over 200 FPS at low settings, it’sanother laptop that’s able to deliver asmooth experience with the 240Hz display.Rainbow Six Siege was tested with the builtin benchmark using Vulkan, low settings wasonce more around the refresh rate of the screen,though even maxed out performance is stillvery good.Metro Exodus was tested using the built inbenchmark, most parts of the game performa fair bit better than this, so don’t takethese results as a good indication of whatto expect throughout the entire game, it’smore of a worst case.The Division 2 was also tested with the builtin benchmark, and aside from crashing morethan ever after the latest update which madetesting take about 3 times longer than normal,the results are inline with similar speccedmachines tested.Monster Hunter World has been added into themix after a viewer was kind enough to sendme a key for it, which worked out well asI had to skip doom eternal as my frame measuringsoftware causes it to crash after the recentupdate.Anyway this is my first experience with thisgame, and even the highest settings, it seemedto work pretty well on the 2070.Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was tested withthe built in benchmark, and the performancewas decent, at least better 1% lows when comparedto the Alienware m15 R2 I recently covered,likely due to the CPU performance difference.Far Cry New Dawn was excellent performance was stillpossible at maximum settings, though we couldgain some more frames at lower settings ifyou really want to utilize that 240Hz panel.Let’s also take a look at how the MSI GP7510SFK gaming laptop compares with other laptops,use these results as a rough guide only asthey were tested at different times with differentdrivers.In Battlefield 5 I’ve got the GP75 highlightedin red.The older 9th gen GP75 is also there, sameRTX 2070 graphics but slightly older i7-9750Hprocessor, and in this test we can see it’sless than 3 FPS behind, however the 1% lowwith the newer 10th gen model is higher comparatively.In any case, this is one of the best resultsin this game that I’ve gotten so far.These are the results from Far Cry 5 withultra settings in the built in benchmark.Again this config of the GP75 was close tothe top of the graph, and the 9th gen modelwasn’t too far behind it.This is typically a more CPU sensitive test,which may explain why it’s the highest resultout of any 115 watt 2070 laptop I’ve tested,as it’s also the first I’ve had with a10th gen processor.These are the results from Shadow of the Tombraider with the built in benchmark at highestsettings.This more GPU demanding test again only resultedin the 10th gen 10SFK model we’re lookingat here come out 3 FPS ahead of the 9th genmodel.It’s also no longer the best 115 watt 2070result though, the ASUS Zephyrus GX502 isslightly higher, probably due to the FPS boostit receives by allowing you to disable optimus.Overall the gaming performance with the GP7510SFK was excellent, as expected due to theRTX 2070 graphics.Even at max settings most games were playableno problem, I’m still waiting to get a laptopwith the newer Super version to see how thatcompares.We could probably gain a couple extra FPSby upgrading to DDR4-2933 memory too, butbased on the last time I tested this it wouldn’toffer that big of a difference.Something I noticed straight away after testingout the Alienware m15 R2, was that
