Xolo Q800 Quad-Core Android Phone Unboxing & Overview

**Unboxing and First Impressions: Zolo Q800 Dual SIM Android Phone**

The Zolo Q800 is a budget-friendly dual SIM Android phone that promises to deliver a great value for its price. We've unboxed the device, and here's our first impression of this affordable smartphone.

As we take out the phone from its packaging, we can see that it has a plasticky back cover with a rubberish texture that feels nice to the touch. The Zolo logo is prominently displayed on the top bar, alongside an 8-megapixel camera module and an LED flash. On the bottom, we find the micro USB port, power button, and volume rocker. The build quality looks good, with no creaking noise or any other signs of flimsiness.

**Design and Build Quality**

The phone's design is straightforward, with a 3.5mm headphone jack on top and nothing notable on this end. However, the build quality is where it shines. Despite being an affordable device, the Zolo Q800 feels solid in the hand, with no signs of cheap plastic or flimsy construction.

**Display and Screen Quality**

The phone's display is where we're excited to see if it delivers on its promises. The screen is a vibrant 4-inch IPS display that looks bright and colorful. The viewing angles are also impressive, making this phone suitable for watching videos or browsing the web in sunny conditions. We've set the auto brightness sensor to test its performance, and it works flawlessly.

**Software and Performance**

The Zolo Q800 runs on stock Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which is a great start for an affordable device. The phone feels responsive, with quick toggles and smooth animations. The processor is a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, paired with the SGX544 GPU, which should handle basic gaming and graphics duties.

**Storage and Expansion**

The internal storage on the Zolo Q800 is a paltry 9 GB, with only 1.74 GB dedicated to phone storage. However, the good news is that it supports micro SD cards up to 32 GB for expansion. We'll be testing this further in our review to see how the phone handles file management and storage.

**Camera and Image Quality**

The camera module on the Zolo Q800 is an 8-megapixel sensor with tap-to-focus capabilities. We've taken a few shots, including one embedded YouTube video, which plays smoothly without any issues. The picture quality looks decent, if not outstanding, with some noticeable color casts in certain conditions.

**Web Browsing and Performance**

We've quickly tested the phone's web browsing performance using various websites, including Tech Tas.com. The Zolo Q800 handles browsing tasks smoothly, with quick page loading times and decent performance even on lower-end connections.

**Conclusion**

The Zolo Q800 is an affordable dual SIM Android phone that offers a great value for its price. While it may not be the most powerful device in its class, its 4-inch IPS display, stock Android software, and quad-core processor make it a solid choice for those looking for a budget-friendly option. We'll continue to test this phone further to see how it handles various tasks, including camera performance and battery life. Stay tuned for our full review to find out more about the Zolo Q800.
