Launching My Own Line: Pink USB Cables and EDC Pouches
Hey everyone, it's Justine here, and I'm super excited to share with you that I've launched my own line of pink USB cables. I've been working on this project for a while now, and I'm thrilled to finally bring it to life. As some of you may know, I've also been teasing a new EDC (Every Day Carry) pouch that's inspired by one of my favorite low-quality mesh pouches.
I have to admit, I was never satisfied with the quality of this old mesh pouch. The material was flimsy, and it didn't hold up well to daily use. However, I did love its size and slim design, which made it a great fit for my needs. So, I decided to take everything that I hated about the pouch (except for the size) and create an entirely new one from scratch.
One of the top priorities when designing this new pouch was creating a high-quality zipper. I specifically requested that it be massive – if you think it's too big, then that's perfect! The result is a super industrial-looking zipper that not only looks great but also provides excellent durability and functionality. Other notable features include two zippers for easy access and a higher quality mesh material that's more sturdy and has a plasticy feel to it.
I'm extremely proud of how this pouch turned out, and I think you'll love it just as much as I do. It's designed to be versatile and functional, making it perfect for daily use. This little bag here stays packed always, even on simple day trips. One of the best parts about this pouch is the added Apple pencil loop, which allows you to carry a pen or pencil with you wherever you go.
As an avid traveler, I like to bring all my essentials with me. In this little bag, you'll find everything from my 35-watt double dual charger by Apple to my Sony USB-C card reader and Oura Ring charger. I've also included the MagSafe Duo Charger, which can charge your Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 2 on one side and your iPhone or other wireless-compatible devices on the other. This cable is a bit random, but it's actually what I use to charge my lightsabers – yes, you read that right!
In addition to the pouch, I've also designed a range of USB cables, including pink USB-C cables, which are now available in my new line. As a self-proclaimed USB-C girl, I still prefer these cables for most of my needs. However, I have also included some smaller cables and adapters that cater to different situations – such as the Thunderbolt Cable used with my solid-state drives or the USB micro cable that can charge many headphones and microphones.
I think one of the things that sets this collection apart is its focus on functionality and quality. As someone who's always been particular about what they carry, I've made sure to include a variety of accessories and tools in this bag, all designed to work seamlessly together. And let me tell you, it feels amazing to have everything organized and easily accessible – from my power strip with USB ports to my microphones that still use the trusty old USB-micro connector.
What sets me excited about this collection is its potential for people who may not have thought they needed an EDC bag before. I mean, if I can see myself carrying all of these essentials around, then you probably can too! The bag itself is incredibly slim and compact, making it perfect for tossing into a backpack or purse, while the quality zippers and materials ensure that everything stays secure and functional.
I'm thrilled to share my new line with you all, and I hope you'll enjoy using these products as much as I do. Whether you're an avid traveler, a busy professional, or simply someone who loves having all their essentials at their fingertips, this collection is designed to meet your needs.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- Hey, it's Justine, and some of you may have seenthat I launched my ownline of pink USB cables, which I am so hyped about. But we also launched a little EDC pouch, which stands for EveryDay Carry. Now this pouch is actually inspiredby a really low-quality mesh pouchthat I've been using forthe past couple of years. But the thing that I loved about itwas the size and how slim it was.So I took everythingthat I hated about the pouch, which was basically everythingexcept the size, and made an entire new one.The number one thingthat I told Kondor Bluewhen we were working on this,is I want a super high-quality zipper.I want it to be massive.Like if you thinkthat the zipper's too big, then that's perfect. Then you've definitely hit the mark. Here's the zippers. So these have the aluminum tags right herewith my little logo on them. And these match the actualcable ends themselves. So it's definitely anentire comprehensive look.So we've got the super industrial zipper. The other pouch only had one zipper. This has two, which allows you to just kind ofopen a little sideor open it all the wayto be able to see what's inside. And it'll give you access to putthe zipper wherever you want it.The mesh is alsoa little bit higher of a quality. It's more sturdyand it has more of a plasticy feelinstead of like the mesh feel. You can also see what's inside way easierthan those other types of mesh bags.We also added this little spine hereto give it a little more structure. It's got our logos both on it right there. Now I'm gonna show youeverything that I carry, and this is everythingthat I take with me when I travel, like this little baghere stays packed always.Even if I just go on a simple day trip, this comes with me.One of the best parts about this pouch iswe also added an Apple pencil loop.So if you wanna bring a pencil with you, whether it's an Apple pencilor an analog pen, that'll also fit here, as well.It is on both sides,so you can carry two pencils. And I always carry with methis 35 watt double dual charger by Apple.I like this because it does havethe two USB-C slotsso I can charge two things at once. This is, of course, just a basic Apple one. This is a Sony USB-C card reader. This will-Oh my gosh,is there a card in there?Oh, that's a treat. This will hold CFexpress A cardsand also regular SD cards.I mostly use this for CFexpress A cardssince the MacBook does havean SD card slot on it now.Would've been so nice to have thatmany, many years ago,but it's okay. It's okay.Who's complaining? Not me.I always carry with memy Oura Ring charger, and since I got my gold ring,I now carry with me my extra ringbecause there have been timeswhen I've been traveling, and I actually left my ring at home'cause I left it on the charger.I like to charge it before I travel, but sometimes I forget it,so I now always make sureI have my alternate ringpacked and ready to go.This is the MagSafe Duo Charger. So you can charge your Apple Watchor your new AirPods Pro 2,and this side will charge your iPhoneor anything else that'sshe-wireless compatible. This cable, super random, this cable is actuallywhat is used to charge my lightsabers. And I used to travel a lotwhen I would do lightsaber training,I would always bringthe lightsaber with me,and it would be tragicwhen I wasn't able to charge it.This always stays in there.A USB-C to A dongle.Honestly, never really need this. There was one time last yearwhen I needed this desperatelywhen I was in Mexico, and I was in the middle of nowhere. No one had a dongle,no stores could even get a dongle,so this now always stays in the bag.Now let's move on to the cables, shall we?Okay.I'm pretty much a USB-C girl,I really just bring this USB-A brickjust in case of emergencies. We never know.I have two Lightning to USB-C cables.I always like to have one of thosethat plug into the MagSafe Duo charger. And then I do sometimes travelwith an extra phone,so I like to be able toplug that into the duoand charge my other iPhonewhile the other one is chargingon the MagSafe Duo charger.Sometimes I also do needit to transfer data,so it's just nice to have two of those. Now, since this is more of my travel bag,I'd like to bring some smaller cables. So this is the USB-C to USB-C.We've got two of those actually. And then I have a Thunderbolt Cable here, which I always usewith some of my varioussolid state drives.I know I did say I was a USB-C girl, but it looks likesince I got these new cables,I did decide to throw inone of these USB-C to USB-A.So, honestly,it is good to have thisbecause you honestlyreally just never knowwhat you're gonna need.I will sometimes travel with a power stripthat does have USB ports on it.And those normally are USB-A,which sucks, but it is what it is.My micro is missing.I also usually have a micro in here, but I think it might becharging something right now. Please hold.Where did you go, little micro? Here it is.I was charging my microphone with it.But this is the USB micro.Really this ends up beingwhat I need this for.USB micro was such an interesting cable, because, obviously,it is something that is on its way out,but there are so manythings that still chargewith USB micro.Headphones.All of the microphones that I use, they charge with USB-micro,I'm sure one day it will be updated. But for the time being, that's what I'm using. So I do have a whole bunch of accessories, little tiny action cameras, all sorts of things that still use it.And of course, I wanted it to bea nice comprehensive collection. So I do feel like there may be peoplethat are in the market for it.I mean, if I am,then I can't be alone. So this is everythingthat is in my carry bag. Now, the reason that Ilove this bag so muchis because it is so slim, and also this zipper is super industrial,so you are able to crama lot of stuff in here. Now you may be like,\"Well, Justine, why didn't you just make the bag biggerif you wanted to carry more stuff?\"That's where I had to draw the line. That's why I like the sizeof that old, crappy cheap bag so much,is because it can confined meto this size onlyand this fits perfectly into my backpack. So I didn't wanna stray from that, and I also didn't wanna give myselfany more space to hoard. So, this is it.If it doesn't fit in here, then, well,I just need to put it somewhere else.(Justine laughs)But this is everythingthat I would need when I'm on the go.I love having every single cable nowmatching and beautiful.I just love the way that these look, and it's super excitingbecause Kondor Bluedoes have a lifetime warrantyon all of their cables. So that is definitely somethingI feel like will put your mind to ease.If I was on the market for cables, you better believethat's something I would want.So let's load this back up,put in all my items.I mean, like really,a lightsaber charging cable?Dude, you just never know. And there it is.All packed up, ready to go.It's just so great. They really took my visionand made it perfect.Like this is exactlywhat I've always wanted, and now it's here, and it's something that we made together. So thank you Kondor Bluefor making my dreams come true. This is so exciting.(upbeat music)\n"
