the internet was amazing on this thing all you guys seem to really like it even the non people had to admit how cool the freaking platy was and this has a ton of work to go until it is done and we still have a lot more that we want to do to this one but if you guys watched my video when I built this thing I had mentioned that using a model X might have been better as far as the dimensions go and there was a point where I was actually thinking about selling the model S that I had and Holding Out for a model X just because things lined up better but I was already so invested into the model S and I already did everything I wanted to do with it got the title transfers all that stuff so I was like I'm just going to go through with this and we ended up cutting that one up and we got the platy here but I do have a second Minivan and with how good everything did online plus my urge just to make it even better and more refined I did pick up another model X plaid so we're at the track right now with both minivans at the time of filming this with the ravy and platy and I have a bid on a Model X plaid that's in Colorado runs behind the camera right now he agreed to pick it up for me if I get it and it's next up right now I've been on my computer the whole drive here on Copart and this one's a little cheaper it was rear ended very similar situation to the model S but we're going to see if we can get it here don't know how much it's going to go for but figur it might be cool to have two plates at right now my Max bid is 355 Grand and it's at 30 are you leading the bid right know Kyle might have slipped it but he went and did it again he hit us up earlier this week and said hey guys can you go pick this up we cruise down to Denver well Jamie cruise down to Denver pick this baby up and let me tell you this thing is something special we have got a model X plaid folks this is incredible so it looks like it got hit in the rear and you can kind of see it tucked down a little bit and really doesn't look too bad we've got uh where the battery charger was something there to kind of get inside and find and figure out but the exterior looks pretty good the interior it's kind of hard to see we haven't figured out getting the doors open it's all here we'll have to get inside here and uh figure out the charger and see if we can't get you know a little charge in it and uh see if we can bring this baby to life Kyle but I'm sure he's got some big plans for it and I'm excited for 2024 to see you know what he's doing next these uh these plaids are not safe from him and if they're total and out there you guys should probably hit them up he's uh he's going to have a a bunch of them this is cool all right this is Bren from Colorado signing out have a Happy New Year from all of us here at boosted boys and PFI speed the plan is to build a second one of these even though this one isn't anywhere close to being done yet I'm already planning on a second platy cuz I thought what's better than one platy two of them so as you guys know there's a couple things on the platy that didn't line up perfectly with the model S here so the wheelbase is the same but because of the seating position and the way the uh you know cabs of each vehicles are different the minivan is a much taller vehicle um everything's a little more scrunched forward whereas in the model S you're naturally seated lower and farther back so that's why we got this weird pillar placement going on right here and the dash looks like it is massive because the dash right here is scooted back so far but in a model X all of this stuff according to my measurements lines up way better to an odyssey the seats are on a Podium they're naturally higher up you have third row seating as well which we wouldn't have in the model S so it actually kind of feel like a full minivan again the dash should line up much better we should get rid of almost all this Gap and we won't have to trim the doors right here because you can see the side of the a pillar right there from the model S where we had to trim out some of the door right here because it hits on that that is something we have to address on this thing because we're not even sure how we want to go about doing all that because as of right now we couldn't roll the windows down because we had to cut some of the window track out of that so
