i say these give a more natural sound and not as lush or as processed as some people would like it's more of a studio type headphone so you're going to hear a more balanced sound and not something that is extreme that makes these really good for listening to music the microphone does pick up some ambient noise but my voice came through clear although my friends noted that i did sound a touch
