The Art of Holiday Lighting: A Conversation with the Creator

As we walked through the winter wonderland of holiday lights, our host couldn't help but notice the beauty of nature surrounding them. "Oh yeah that's a lot of" they exclaimed, gesturing to the multitude of twinkling lights. The conversation began with a question about what they had found. "I found one this may very well be the bulk of the lights this year we kind the butterfly I caught many butterflies rib it we get it it's a peot you said peacock that's pretty yeah I remember the blue balls from last year too." It was clear that the host was excited to share their discovery with us, and we were happy to engage in conversation.

As we made our way through the display, our host pointed out various features of the lights. "It's kind of sad to see the still blue to think these are all volunteer people that do this don't touch them I'll give you a good reason why why cuz it's wet and that's electricity there's Winnie the Pooh he's got his jar of honey that thanks for noticing him." The mention of Winnie the Pooh brought up an interesting point about quote eore. "it was actually an eore quote but I don't think they have eore here so I was just kind of you know trying to fit him in there and what would a holiday light display be without corn yay I and grapes I like the grapes we should go stomp on them though no those couldn't be grapes they're too close to the ground."

As we continued through the display, our host noticed various elements that caught their eye. "I love how you're getting wet for your art I'm taking a video from my dad oh yeah it keeps appearing and disappearing that is a dragonfly yeah flow see the sparkly dragonfly there look right in the middle of the pond yeah from pasati wait unless that's a sea serpent we should put that many lights on our Christmas tree hun I know it'd be very dense and our electrical bill for that month would probably match that of the entire year."

Our host also pointed out some interesting features of the surrounding environment. "there's the last bit of snow in the Seattle area all right hun Point huh Point Christmas yeah point setas oh yeah yeah aren't those poisonous well if you eat them we should feed some to the kids just kidding yeah on that is not corn that's a big old corn look a you just had to say that didn't you here yummy now I want corn all right I think we've had enough corn talk today and more corn corn honey that is not corn it's all corn that is not not corn corn flowers flowers flowers no flowers corn fields if you think that's corn we we need to spend more time in Iowa hun if you really think that's corn I want to eat it look corn that is not corn it's very phallic though oh Tor I can put Tor under there there's Yoda your head look there's a palm tree thank you for making it a point to stab me with your umbrella pointies kind of wobbling around how are you not slipping oh cuz I can walk this is like gravel yeah all the more reason not to slip but these are these are rain boots so they should not be slippy what the hell is that oh that's cute yeah but what is it is is a squirrel."

"I think I know they are it's like a little Christmas tree farm yeah the little kid after you said it looks like a little Christmas tree farm he told his mom he was like it looks like a little Christmas tree farm you know why why cuz I look like I have authority I'm older and I'm glowing he C now these are definitely grapes yes Great Vine well no yeah look at the bucket love it time to make wine beard I'm pretty sure that's a gecko next to the palm trees m no it's okay those no no no look up oh yeah those are pretty what are those blueberries I don't know where a little plants that's so cute Diana just asked me not to leave her cuz see it's raking leaves do you see the slug over there yeah you're poking me again owo it's an outdoor it's all fun and games till someone loses an eye are really blinking that's it we're done for this year I can't even tell you from the lights to your right cuz I'm blending in yeah looks like you have a tail maybe I do it's the Stig I don't know if I'm going to be in Focus But the lens is definitely getting cleaned when I get home Diana is inside getting Sushi to go we ordered it as we left the Christmas light display I not just Christmas holiday lights and that's cool flowers have lasted a while yeah I have I trimmed them well you could probably trim them a bit more and keep them for a few days longer I wish they would like Sprout but they didn't seem to do that it's possible they were just overwhelmed by the lights.
