How to Root Your LG GLEX Using the iIO Root Method

Hey guys, it's David from the Unlocker.net and I'm here to guide you through the process of rooting your LG GLEX using the iIO root method. First, make sure you follow the prompts to install the drivers after those drivers are installed, you're going to click on the necessary downloads link for the iIO root method. This will take you to the developers page, just scroll down to basically the bottom too far down until you see IO Root, click that to download.

Once the download is complete, move on to your device and pull down the notification bar to tap the little settings icon at the top. Tap General, scroll all the way down, tap About Phone, tap on Software Information, and then build number. Keep tapping it until it says you're a developer. You'll hit back twice, now you should see Developer Options. We're going to tap that, Don't Show This Again, and hit Okay and turn on USB Debugging. Hit Yes and then plug your device in via USB. Click Cancel on Installing Stuff and just make sure that Charge Phone is the only thing selected.

When this pops up, hit Always Allow from this computer and hit Okay and wait for it to finish installing the drivers on your computer. On your computer, you're going to right click and hit Extract All on the .zip for iIO Root. Hit Extract then in here you're going to double-click root dobat, hit More Info, and run anyway. Follow its on-screen instructions which one of them is to go into settings, go to Networks, turn on Airplane Mode, click Okay, and on your device, we're going to pull down the notification bar to tap on Tap On USB Connected for a second, then pull that back down and change it back to Charge.

Hit Enter in the program again and we're going to check to see if ADB is running his route which you'll know by seeing VI Route etc etc. You could basically hit control C to stop here to have temp route but I want full route so I'm going to actually hit enter and continue with full rout please keep in mind um the notes that he writes here so read that thoroughly before you hit enter and now wait for that to finish then hit enter again the device should reboot um and it'll say Android is upgrading wait for that to finish then the device will reboot.

You're going to tap on the app drawer and if you see Super SU within your apps you're all set.
