The New Warehouse and the Exciting Upgrades
I'm excited to share with you all that I've been working on my new warehouse, and it's finally complete! The best part about this new space is that we can now bring everything over from my old warehouse. It's not quite ready for a tour just yet, but we're bringing all the necessary equipment and supplies over, so it's good to know that everything will be taken care of.
One of the upgrades I'm particularly excited about is the new catch-can setup. We've had a temporary solution in place for a while now, but it was a bit sketchy due to the proximity of the oil and heat sources. Alberto has rigged up an awesome system, and we'll be relocating it to a safer spot closer to the hood. The vibrant cash can is really big and common in racing applications, and we love how it's tucked away nicely out of sight.
We're also installing a blow-off valve around this area, which will make it easier to drain the turbo when needed. I have to admit that I was initially hesitant about getting rid of my old blow-off valve, but Alberto has assured me that this new setup is much safer and will improve overall performance. The new location will also help reduce the risk of fires or overheating issues.
One of the best things about the new warehouse is how it feels – even though the distance remains the same, everything just feels cooler and more pleasant to be around. We're trying to fit in with the local diesel crowd in Orlando, so we've been adding some nice touches like toe mirrors and sleek designs. It's great to see that everyone has their own unique style, from big ears to smaller ones.
Alberto is proud of his work on this new setup, and I can tell you that it looks amazing! The ketchikan is recessed down below the blow-off valve, which is a great touch. We're excited to put everything through its paces and see how it performs. For now, let's just say that we're having fun and enjoying the process of creating this new space.
We're also getting ready for our next project – installing dual calipers on my Z32 chassis. It's been a labor of love, but I'm excited to finally get everything cleaned up and ready for painting tomorrow. We'll be running some hydro setup lines and making sure everything is perfect before we start the build process.
In the meantime, I wanted to share some of our latest work with you all – ripping the skyline on the street and enjoying the sound waves from my new exhaust system. It's been a blast, and I hope you can take some enjoyment in these videos and clips.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enas you guys know I go crazy about sound when it comes to cars I will spend forever trying to get the exhaust to sound right because it's probably the most important thing to me when it comes to a car now we tried a couple different setups what sounded the best was actually a three inch straight back from here but the tip looks so tiny and just out of place we try to four inch but then it started making weird noises and stuff so we came up with a solution I kind of thought it was weird at first but now I kind of think it's cool because of the effort that we went to to get it to sound just right if you guys remember this is actually the transition that I welded for Nicole's car that's why it looks so ugly huh yeah this this whole section we had in the Kohl's car but we didn't like how it sounded because though it kind of makes it do weird stuff with the noise so what Alberto did was weld the three inch inside of the four inch so we can have the sound well it still looks nice like a four inch so I was telling Tommy because you got like the tube inside the tube but this time I said I'll being the outer wall the exhaust inside wall the sex sauce what we'll do though this will get all like black and stuff so you won't even be able to really see it but I was kind of worried that it might look stupid but I think that it'll actually look a lot better than if we just had a three-inch coming out the back we're gonna let it warm up for a minute it'll show you guys how we're at the new setup sounds it may not look it totally just yet but me and Tommy have been spending most of the day cleaning up the garage I know it still looks messy but take my word for it there's a lot of stuff gone we're about to do a truck run over to the new warehouse and I want to make a video showing you guys new warehouse and kind of going over and stuff but it's not to the point where I'd want to show you guys yet but we are bringing all the stuff over so that's good what we're gone Alberto's gonna keep working on the catch can set up I don't know if you guys remember we kind of had it like just rigged up in place back there which works temporarily but it's kind of sketchy because you have all the oil everything so close to the source of all the heat so god forbid it overflows or the vapors catch on fire or something we're gonna put it in a much safer spot over here but we couldn't get it to fit because of the hood so what did you do Alberto so it's actually down here I love that looks like a little smiley face the vibrant cash can is really really big and pretty common in like racing applications to have it tucked down and recessed like that because it makes it really easy if you have to drain it rather than having to pull the cat-scan out just undo it drain it right there and it's tucked nice out of the way and it looks pretty good too I know you guys probably gonna hate me because it sounds so cool with all the turbo flutter noises with no blow-off valve but it stalls the blade between shifts and I don't want to have that it's not actually good for what I'm using the car for does sound cool so we are going to be installing a bluff out right around this area cool thing about the new places even though it's the same distance it feels like a cooler drive because of the fact that go buy stuff in my old warehouse was just a little of nowhere where this time like we go buy stores and restaurants and it's just very nice I'm trying to fit in more with all the diesel guys in Orlando so like this guy he's got his toe mirrors out but he's not telling me so pressing the button we're bringing our mirrors down we're gonna go drive up next to him I think like would it be a would it be it would it be cool or not cool to go up and like ask if you wanted to touch mirrors is that a thing but I kind of wonder how far your mirrors stick out either you look at me like I'm weird hey I'm surprised okay do I look at you like it don't you we don't even need to go in this lean in touch mirrors though that's the thing that's it look another friend he doesn't have the big ears though sorry guy surely convenient I know how to make lines now so we can do stuff twice as fast so I got one line done for the valve cover to catch can and Alberto is doing the other right now don't worry it's not gonna look like this you had a cool idea on how we end up tucking it but look at how nice the ketchikan is all recessed down there at the blow-off valve in curious to see how this thing sounds hopefully so I'm assuming the reason why you're choosing to tuck them there versus like coming down over here just to keep it away from all the heat yeah not too shabby you know Alberto's proud of his work when he takes pictures I love for the cash game came out done here I'll tuck nice no more fires this is Mary's mr. Harborough just take your hand over here and check the oil we should start it real quick to make sure this is dry spring yeah yeah that is a lot more impressive tad bit louder in the car than it was before but it's not really that bad kind of cool the bluff I was a really stiff spring so it's not really doing anything until you get into the big boost level so it still sounds rad that's all the turbo surge flutter noise blows off to prevent it from stalling out at the high boost in between years between you I needed practice shifting from second to third because whatever reason I don't know if it's because when it's loaded up it's harder to get into third but I'm just not very good at and I just get scared that I'm gonna miss it but uh we'll work on that I've just been chilling working on yet another set of z32 calipers trying to get them all cleaned up so I can spray-paint them tomorrow because tomorrow we are gonna be doing the dual caliper hydro setup an hour thirty two already got stuff mocked up so you guys know kind of what that looks like we'll be running the lines and doing all that but I'm not gonna leave you with this I'm gonna leave you with some rad clips ripping the skyline on the street some sound waves you can take enjoyment of the new exhaust off out whatever you want to call man we're just having fun nobody knowsas you guys know I go crazy about sound when it comes to cars I will spend forever trying to get the exhaust to sound right because it's probably the most important thing to me when it comes to a car now we tried a couple different setups what sounded the best was actually a three inch straight back from here but the tip looks so tiny and just out of place we try to four inch but then it started making weird noises and stuff so we came up with a solution I kind of thought it was weird at first but now I kind of think it's cool because of the effort that we went to to get it to sound just right if you guys remember this is actually the transition that I welded for Nicole's car that's why it looks so ugly huh yeah this this whole section we had in the Kohl's car but we didn't like how it sounded because though it kind of makes it do weird stuff with the noise so what Alberto did was weld the three inch inside of the four inch so we can have the sound well it still looks nice like a four inch so I was telling Tommy because you got like the tube inside the tube but this time I said I'll being the outer wall the exhaust inside wall the sex sauce what we'll do though this will get all like black and stuff so you won't even be able to really see it but I was kind of worried that it might look stupid but I think that it'll actually look a lot better than if we just had a three-inch coming out the back we're gonna let it warm up for a minute it'll show you guys how we're at the new setup sounds it may not look it totally just yet but me and Tommy have been spending most of the day cleaning up the garage I know it still looks messy but take my word for it there's a lot of stuff gone we're about to do a truck run over to the new warehouse and I want to make a video showing you guys new warehouse and kind of going over and stuff but it's not to the point where I'd want to show you guys yet but we are bringing all the stuff over so that's good what we're gone Alberto's gonna keep working on the catch can set up I don't know if you guys remember we kind of had it like just rigged up in place back there which works temporarily but it's kind of sketchy because you have all the oil everything so close to the source of all the heat so god forbid it overflows or the vapors catch on fire or something we're gonna put it in a much safer spot over here but we couldn't get it to fit because of the hood so what did you do Alberto so it's actually down here I love that looks like a little smiley face the vibrant cash can is really really big and pretty common in like racing applications to have it tucked down and recessed like that because it makes it really easy if you have to drain it rather than having to pull the cat-scan out just undo it drain it right there and it's tucked nice out of the way and it looks pretty good too I know you guys probably gonna hate me because it sounds so cool with all the turbo flutter noises with no blow-off valve but it stalls the blade between shifts and I don't want to have that it's not actually good for what I'm using the car for does sound cool so we are going to be installing a bluff out right around this area cool thing about the new places even though it's the same distance it feels like a cooler drive because of the fact that go buy stuff in my old warehouse was just a little of nowhere where this time like we go buy stores and restaurants and it's just very nice I'm trying to fit in more with all the diesel guys in Orlando so like this guy he's got his toe mirrors out but he's not telling me so pressing the button we're bringing our mirrors down we're gonna go drive up next to him I think like would it be a would it be it would it be cool or not cool to go up and like ask if you wanted to touch mirrors is that a thing but I kind of wonder how far your mirrors stick out either you look at me like I'm weird hey I'm surprised okay do I look at you like it don't you we don't even need to go in this lean in touch mirrors though that's the thing that's it look another friend he doesn't have the big ears though sorry guy surely convenient I know how to make lines now so we can do stuff twice as fast so I got one line done for the valve cover to catch can and Alberto is doing the other right now don't worry it's not gonna look like this you had a cool idea on how we end up tucking it but look at how nice the ketchikan is all recessed down there at the blow-off valve in curious to see how this thing sounds hopefully so I'm assuming the reason why you're choosing to tuck them there versus like coming down over here just to keep it away from all the heat yeah not too shabby you know Alberto's proud of his work when he takes pictures I love for the cash game came out done here I'll tuck nice no more fires this is Mary's mr. Harborough just take your hand over here and check the oil we should start it real quick to make sure this is dry spring yeah yeah that is a lot more impressive tad bit louder in the car than it was before but it's not really that bad kind of cool the bluff I was a really stiff spring so it's not really doing anything until you get into the big boost level so it still sounds rad that's all the turbo surge flutter noise blows off to prevent it from stalling out at the high boost in between years between you I needed practice shifting from second to third because whatever reason I don't know if it's because when it's loaded up it's harder to get into third but I'm just not very good at and I just get scared that I'm gonna miss it but uh we'll work on that I've just been chilling working on yet another set of z32 calipers trying to get them all cleaned up so I can spray-paint them tomorrow because tomorrow we are gonna be doing the dual caliper hydro setup an hour thirty two already got stuff mocked up so you guys know kind of what that looks like we'll be running the lines and doing all that but I'm not gonna leave you with this I'm gonna leave you with some rad clips ripping the skyline on the street some sound waves you can take enjoyment of the new exhaust off out whatever you want to call man we're just having fun nobody knows\n"
