**Review: Pomelo Longboard**
Rhodes watch out for these rocks, watch out for cars, you know and look at the camera at the same time but for the most part, it's doable. For me, I'm dad, used to it right now, it's a very very fun experience and I highly recommend all you guys at least try it out on the scale of one to ten, I'm gonna give this it's really not wrong with this board. It's really not the only kind I could probably think about, is uh there's no app but for the most part that's just me being petty.
Maybe the price is a little too much, but it's way cheaper than a Boosted Board which of course, it may be like about a thousand dollars but they did come out with a Boosted Board Mini or a Boosted Board Mini X, which cause you like about six hundred seven hundred dollars so it's not too bad at all. But for the price of this and to be a long board, it's not too bad at all.
The support team for Pomelo is kind of sucks, I mentioned to them about my wheel because every pebble I go on it actually you know tear up the wheel a little bit and I asked them about it see if I can get a replacement but they didn't reply back to me. But you know, I live with this board so yeah.
**Unboxing and First Impressions**
Showing the wear and tear of it if you guys been watching my vlogs you guys already know I love this board a lot. I travel with it a lot and overall it's just a good board. The break-in that alone makes this board a win, the speed and the break there's nothing wrong with this battery life. I how many times I wrote it without a charge maybe three days and from here to my college it's probably about three point eight miles pretty much four miles.
**Challenges and Solutions**
Oh no yeah if you guys want to see more features and more things about this board check out the unboxing video for real maybe certain things I missed but just giving my you know my opinions and my experience. Just don't know how Casey Neistat does it like he passed through traffic without a helmet, I don't know I don't know I just can't ride this thing without a helmet, I just don't trust myself, I just anything could happen and if you bust your head you're gonna regret not buying a helmet so always wear a helmet.
Looking back at my own box and I was scared to ride on a level 3 but now I'm chill enough oh my god putting this thing on the charges I can't put this thing alright guys, so I noticed my board the battery keep on popping out. I went over like a huge lift on the sidewalk or like a crack you know sometimes if there's a tree here sometimes the sidewalk lifts up a little bit, so I thought I could probably ride through that lift but it turns out the battery popped out and ever since then the batteries keep on popping out.
**Troubleshooting**
This was like about a week ago yeah like about a week ago and yeah ever since the battery just keep on popping out. And sometimes it's hard to even take out the battery too unless I hit like a huge lift and I just let go, you know get off the board and that's it. But I think I found a solution, I noticed this part here was kind of wobbling so I took the screwdriver and I actually tightened up those screws there all right there you go there you go.
So I just tightened up these two screws because if something lifts up I guess it pull the school with it maybe I tightened up the screws. Just wanted to update you guys real quick and this is a normal screwdriver that I just took and I just tightened it up and also tightened up the battery portion of it too so these two little screws on the side there I tightened it up.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enladies and gentlemen boys and girls it is time to review the pomelo skateboard or electric skateboard that's the specialty about this board and I had it for like about a month and I'm think I'm ready to give you guys my official review of this bad boy let's take it out for a ride I'm gonna be breaking down this review into three parts features features ride quality and experience the battery life is pretty solid it does feature a USB charging output to charge your phone or maybe your remote control I would say feature wise this thing is pretty jam-packed I never fall down on this board yet but you never know even if you're a pro skater or rookie you know you don't want to risk yourself of damaging your brain that beautiful brain of yours now next up let's talk about the ride and quality of the riding experience and I got to say the riding experience is a one you know like I said it's not jerky at all when you roll up you go nice and slow but when you roll all the way up full throttle that's when you're gonna go maximum speed for that level keep in mind you have three levels low speed high speed and medium speed I said that kind of wrong but it is what it is easy to control we roll up it goes the full speed of that category if that makes any kind of sense the braking is most importantly smooth we rolled down a little bit it's kind of like it's gonna slow down a bit some boys they're just gonna automatically brake stop an abrupt stop but this board right here it gets the job done and by the way I never wrote a booster board before so I don't know maybe I'm gonna get that next I'm gonna probably get that next maybe hello right now I'm Ryan nice and slow but if I want to go maximum speed up the low speed I roll all the way up I wasn't ready I wasn't ready first time me bringing this electric skateboard the pomelo it was a little bit of a pain cuz I thought the ball was heavy but after a while carrying it everyday for three days it's pretty you get used to it basically you get used to the weight and now I carry with one hand basically bringing it into the classroom I put it under the desk or maybe sometimes I put it in the back of the classroom and riding it in the streets right now that's what I'm doing I'm not riding on the sidewalk sometimes if I'm going really out I ride on the sidewalk because sometimes the the the roads are so busy that I don't want to be involved with it so I just ride on the sidewalk and the propeller handles the bumps and cracks really well so there's a nice little smooth road and I really do appreciate it but now all roads are gonna be like that but it handles it really well thanks to the flexible board and I really do like it a lot it's not really gonna bounce you back up if that makes any kind of sense it definitely helps with the riding experience and riding quality of it it's kind of hard to do a review and right I have to say it's on because I got to pay attention Rhodes watch out for these rocks watch out for cars you know and look at the camera at the same time but for the most part it's doable for me I'm dad used to it right now it's a very very fun experience and I to ten I'm gonna give this an 8 and I think with the battery they should have just had it with screws so you could be able to unscrew it to replace the battery but you know it's just so difficult to replace the battery like if I try to do it right now it's so difficult because you got to pull this down I'm holding the camera you got you got to push this down and you got to pull this down and it's so difficult you'll be there for hours trying to figure out how to replace this battery and I don't know man and yet again I contact the pomelo pomelos not responded to none of my emails see good
