"I was like okay this is completely different," he says, recalling the feeling of embarking on a new creative path. "Like I'm like okay this is unique, like this is something that can be brand and molded my like mold a new sound for me." One of the key influences on Miles' animation style is the adult animated series Boondocks. "I was like oh I'm gonna make one of these," he remembers, reflecting on the impact that show had on his work. "That's where it all started out from uh you know my first album where I was blue and I just wanted to figure out how I concerned that character from the depression album that I put out years ago into an actual like you know character in a cartoon." Miles' desire to bring this character to life led him to explore other forms of animation, including Toy Story and Rick and Morty.

"I watched part of Dante's toys earlier today and it's yeah legitimately hilarious," he says, acknowledging the influence of his own work on others. "You're like you got something with that." "Right now we're just finishing up like we actually just finished the first episode," he explains. "We're working on actually getting a placement for for the cartoon looking for more writers you know we're gonna take you to the next level at this point I have been in talks with a couple guys from with das whim so we're just trying to figure out a situation with you know some writers over there and to help out and help gauge entire you know situation that we have going on with the cartoon and just pretty much help it expand you know and just make sure that all the writing and everything is just is done and more of a professional way."
Miles' ultimate goal for Dante's Toys is to bring this unique brand of humor and creativity to television. "I mean mm-hmm yeah set up for television for that Adult Swim exactly yes which I can see this would be a perfect fit for Adult Swim it's kind of what I thought of when I was watching them like yeah that that just fits right in there with all of that."
When asked about his favorite superhero, Miles reveals a surprising answer: Spider-Man. "Spider-man," he says, without hesitation. "What support spider-man's not really is he is he even Marvel yeah Marvel yeah they've got over into the into the cinematic one so yeah so he's Mia." came from you know and beats and shows me just traveling with him around the time that I was like 11 and then I really jumped into it once I first heard the clips the grinders on I was like too young to really understand exactly why Pharrell was on jumpin all in the video but you know it pretty much came down to like you know just just seeing that overall aesthetic of that and just seeing like how you know just the lifestyle and everything really impacted my life you know I mean yeah yeah so you know that's that's what came first and then Boondocks of course yeah I was amazing so like that that was like another thing that really helped you know gravitate me to the cartoon and stuff like that yeah and so that came later after the music though yeah okay so that was the second one I mean that makes sense if you were traveling around you know as a kid on going around on a gospel to where I can only imagine what that was like you know this is a music you were exposed to just that lifestyle at such a young age I mean that had to have a huge impact on you well let's talk about because I want to talk about some of the the cartoons and it's talking about that side as well we want a little bit about tech but let's talk about you have a new album that let's yeah as it come out yet it's for action figure miles yeah it's actually it's not there's no like release date yeah okay I did do a listening party like a few days ago so what we're still working on like the date and everything for the album is completely finish misses it's it's you know it's packaged and it's ready to go we're just waiting to figure out you know a release date right now nice what kind of what kind of technology do you use when you're recording because if you're on the go a lot do you have some that have a specific program that you go to oh yeah logic that's the dog um and then I also use this thing called Rolly I don't know if you're familiar with it I'm not actually it's like the piano but you can also like it it's it's really it's really weird like you can kind of like glide your fingers around the board and it just it follows like it picks up this sounds like whenever you've you just likes white uh-huh it'll pick up that sound like you think it's kinda like drawing sounds like you know what I mean like Harlan's Rawlings on that makes sense yeah I got a weird oh yeah actually now that you said it I have seen that before but you're right that's I think it's the best explanation you can say is drawing with yeah drawing the music you know I like it and you can actually use it on your phone that's like yeah how is that influenced you you know being this lifelong musician like how is the technology influenced how you write does it change anything for you I mean other than the convenience factor do you listen to things differently now yeah there's like a lot of these new electronics as far as musical electronics like they have like new sounds and then that like if you know if you if you use the stock sounds within the program or you know within the system you can get sounds that people normally don't use because they're always you know on the internet looking for um just sounds on the internet that most likely everyone else is using so no one's paying attention to to the sounds that are actually in the she you know yeah and um I feel like that's one really cool
