I mean, even pixelated calls were not pixelated when I tried to call you on the video. This is using Wi-Fi, so it should be good. You're using what kind of connection? I'm again on Wi-Fi. Let me see if I could switch. Don't think switching between connections would disconnect. Yeah, I think so. Even with mobile data, there's a little bit of pixelation that I can see. But overall, the call quality is good. Definitely, it should be better when you're on Wi-Fi. I hope so. It should take 2 to 4 megapixels connection speed for this quality. Yeah, for low connection speeds, it might not work.

Amit Bani: (Continued) So, I have a lot of friends and relatives from different cities, and they've been asking me to download the Google Duo app. They were confused when I told them about it. It was hard to share the link with them because of that. But, with this new feature on WhatsApp, I think it's very easy now. Just tap here, decide what you want – a voice call or a video call, and you can easily make it.

Amit Bani: Yeah, these days, people don't even get official messages. They just get WhatsApp. My friends who are getting married also send marriage invitations on WhatsApp and say consider this as my actual invitation. WhatsApp is so popular that's why the first thing to do when you set up a new phone is install your WhatsApp account.

Amit Bani: Now, about Google Duo – you're a very proponent user of Google Duo. But I told you it won't take off. Remember? Yeah, you remember. In a way, I thought Google was pushing hard for it. They still go to google.com and have links to Google Duo there. It's too late. WhatsApp has become the standard now, and that's not going to change.

Amit Bani: (Regarding scams) There are lots of misconceptions and stuff going around about this video calling feature on WhatsApp. Some people got forwarded messages saying you just need to visit a website and download it. No one has to do that right? If someone is sound, they just post a video call link and share it with public versions. But there are scams going around, and sadly many people are actually signing up for them. It's time people should watch this video and share with their friends saying, like you know, the official version is out in the Play Store. Download it rather than downloading from these scammy websites. They're malware.

Amit Bani: Yeah, so just don't use any of those even if they visit those websites. Also time to uninstall Google Duo. I think so now. So again, this looks good even on a mobile data connection. You are on mobile connection? Still looks good. If you're on Wi-Fi, it should be really good. So, I think this is going to become the WhatsApp video calling standard in my opinion.
