**Mission Accomplished**

The journey continues with a new mission, one that requires 130,000 points to achieve a gold star within an hour of their arrival at x-50. The Covenant had taken control of the moon, but despite the ferocity of the Salt on x-50, the UNSC forces based on Draeth Dracus 5 had no idea anything was amiss due to the planet's unique magnetic resonance that made off-world communication nearly impossible. Spartan Davis fought to hold a line on x-50, while their Spartan palmer executed her plan to depart for Draethius 5 and warn them of the inevitable Covenant invasion of the colony.

Palmer ordered Marines in the area to fall back to the Hornet landing zones, but only six Marines made it there alive. Holy crap, they held out against an overwhelming Covenant force until help arrived and Palmer managed to escape wasn't she a greedy one? The mission was far from over, as Famine and Thunderstorm had begun, and the sound of gunfire could be heard in the distance.

As Spartan Davis took up position, they said "Let's go! All right, this is us. Survive until the Hornet arrives for extraction." With a steady hand, they began to pick off Covenant forces, earning 3.30 Ripple Kill, Killing Spree, Overkill, and more. A shotgun was picked up, and with it, they continued to take down enemy after enemy.

The map revealed a hidden location, but the Spartan's shields were trained, and they felt a sense of confidence as they moved forward. They picked up a regeneration, hoping to make up for the lack of ammo earlier. The pistol proved difficult to aim, but they persevered, determined to complete their mission. As they made their way through the Covenant lines, they switched to the start rifle, utilizing its accuracy and range to take down enemies.

As they approached the final location, a Wraith appeared, and the Spartan drew their plasma pistol. Despite being outnumbered, they fought on, taking out the Covenant forces one by one. However, as they reached the end of the mission, it was clear that something had gone wrong. The mission failed, and the Spartan let out a sigh of frustration.

The failure to complete the mission led to an achievement being unlocked - Overrun. The realization hit hard, with the Spartan admitting that they took way too many tries to finally succeed. It seemed that the Covenant forces were too strong, and the UNSC was unable to hold off their attack. As the news spread, it became clear that Operation Tempered Shield had been compromised.

The mission's failure served as a reminder of the challenges that lay ahead for the UNSC forces. Despite their bravery, they were outmanned and outgunned by the Covenant. The Covenant's superior numbers and firepower proved too much for the UNSC to handle.

plasma repeater and our secondary weapon is an assault rifle and yes the frustrating part about the upgraded weapons it will only be active during your next mission that is very frustrating let's go she did that day was truly amazing oh and i shot already perfect and i am now piloting a rate oh cannon one way to start this off where my ground is blocked oh that's one way to do it alrighty kill all the enemies just kind of seeing what i can destroy and i've already been stuck perfect sticking is surprisingly easy for the enemies in this game it's pretty frustrating enemy raids i don't want anything to do with them that one's dead does none of here i am limited on my ammo in this so that is good to know may have just taken a substantial amount of damage there i'm not entirely sure obviously my health up there but i'm not sure what exactly or that blowing up like i didn't i don't know how much that actually took away from me very interesting trying to fight enemies off the screen that is quite a substantial amount of heavy armor kill this elite come on there we go and that wraith is dead we have killed two out of three oh we did not kill that turret however not as dead oh i just attacked that wraith i could take that wraith with me i could take it to the bank however i did just damage it so yeah not brand new anymore thanks to my attack oh hi right down he lay down
