MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Unboxing & Installation _ Streaming PC Build

Installing the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 in My Streaming PC Build

It's time to install the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 in my streaming PC build, and I'm excited to share this process with you. As I mentioned earlier, this is a bit overkill for a shimmy PC, but why not, right? I've always believed that if you're going to do it, do it right.

As we started our streaming PC build, we began with the motherboard, then moved on to the processor. Now, we're moving on to the GPU, and I'm eager to get this installed. Let's unbox the GPU and get started. This is a beautiful device, and one of the primary reasons I chose it was because it has RGB lighting. Why would you buy a component without RGB? It's just not the same.

Now that we have our GPU, let's slide out the old one from my main gaming PC upstairs. The GTX 1660 is actually still working quite well by today's standards, and I've yet to run into a game that doesn't perform well on ultra settings or high settings. Let's open up the new GPU and get started.

First things first, we need to remove the protective covering from the GPU. This sticker needs to be removed before gaming, so let's take it off. And here are some guys holding this for me – thank you, appreciate it. Alright, now that we've got the old GPU out of the way, let's slide in our new one.

As I look at my new GPU, I have to say it's a beautiful device. The design is sleek, and the RGB lighting is top-notch. This is definitely one of the primary reasons I chose this GPU. And, as you can see, we do have displayports and HDMI outputs – plenty for both gaming and streaming.

Now that our GPU is installed, let's get to work on fastening it into place. We need to align the I/O ports with the screw holes, so let's take a moment to make sure everything is lined up properly. Once we've got it aligned, we can start fastening the GPU in place. This is always fun when working with tight angles and bulky thumbs – it's like a puzzle, and you need to find the right pieces that fit together.

As I put my new GPU into place, I realized I didn't need to remove the top bracket after all. It was just for precautionary measures. But now that everything is in place, let me take a step back and admire our handiwork.

The MSI GeForce GTX 1660 is now installed, and we're not going to worry about power cables or anything else for now. As I mentioned earlier, this GPU is literally what the video title says – just installing the GPU. However, with that said, stay tuned because we've still got a lot of work to do.

We need to install our power supply units, fans, RAM, capture card, and eventually my M2 SSD. And let me tell you, I'm excited about the prospect of owning my own M2 SSD – it's a whole new world of storage possibilities. So, stay tuned for more updates from my streaming PC build, and don't forget to subscribe for more content – appreciate it!
