The Joy of Sharing a Ride in a McLaren 12C

As I sat watching the video on Evo TV, which was played back on my iPhone's YouTube app, I noticed a comment left by Rahul Barathan. "Hey Nick here's one thing you can do since you have a free supercar...". The idea that caught his attention was to pick a random person from a crowd who admires the car when it's parked and give them the chance to take a ride in it. "It should blow their mind," he thought, and I couldn't help but agree with him.

Nick had a McLaren 12C, a car that he had admired from afar. He knew that Alex, who had contacted him after seeing the car in a magazine and watching some videos online, would be the perfect person to share it with. "Well you're perfect then come on jump in I'll take you out for the ride," Nick said, joking aside. Although they had never met before, Nick was eager to introduce Alex to his supercar.

As they prepared to take the 12C out for a spin, Nick asked Alex if he had ever been in a car like this before. "Nothing like this no fastest I think was an M5 right okay this is a little bit quicker good than an M5," Alex replied, indicating that he was excited and eager to experience the speed of the 12C.

With the track mod ready, Nick asked if Alex was ready for this. "Yeah we'll see" he said, showing his enthusiasm for the ride. As they began to drive, Nick turned up the power to 11 and told Alex to hold on tight. The adrenaline rush that followed must have been exhilarating, as Nick exclaimed, "Good Lord how did that feel? Epic I actually got tingles going up and down the back of my neck."

Alex seemed to be enjoying himself immensely, saying "wow you felt anything like that before?" As they continued driving, Nick pointed out the smooth power delivery of the car. It was a sensation unlike any other, with Alex expressing his delight in every way possible.

As they accelerated towards 100 mph, Alex's eyes bulged as he struggled to keep up with the speed. let's turn everything up to uh 11 shall we yeah let's turn it up to 11 it's all right proper track mod ready mhm 160 there Alex good Lord how did that feel uh epic I actually got tingles going up and down the back of my neck wow you felt anything like that before uh you're right yeah great that was fantastic I just uh yeah I think I've just discovered a new drug so you want more is that how you feel yes pleas yes yes it's funny cuz you take some people out for a ride and they say no more no more if stop your Halfway Around well I don't know who those people are they're not related to me maybe they're commenting on my driving I'm not really sure could but then on the other side you never get anyone who's down the middle you either get the people who say I I can't stand this you know get me out my wife's right um to people like you kind of go yeah oh no that was that was really good that was really good cool the the power delivery is smooth and just yeah wow yeah yeah all right so we'll get to let's get to 100 it's still a bit greasy out there so nobody behind us no are you ready yep who uh I could actually feel the blood going to the front of my head my eyes bulging slightly that was that was probably almost more impressive than the than the acceleration to be fair I think I think you've Absolut I think the braking in this car it is more impressive yeah CU it scrambles your brain when you accelerate you're kind of used to those forces but that kind of whack when you hear the there was a a definite physiological change happening under that heavy of breaking you know I by S like I was joking but I could feel blood surge you know I've done a bit of aab aerobatics in airanes and uh so I know what G forces are like nice so yeah I've got some idea what what positive and negative g-forces are like yeah but yeah that was definite um definite G forer so there we go very good thank you Nick hope you enjoyed that I did do you think I could charge for that you think I could you know not me but yeah you probably could charge people yeah could it go uh how much fuel have you Ed that's the question it does get a bit thirsty on I think you probably could you could
