Unboxing the House Party 5 Speaker Dock from Gear 4
Hello everybody, David the Franco here from tech.com with another unboxing this time it's from the awesome guys over at gear 4.com. This time we have a house party 5 speaker dock or more specifically on the box as it says it says it is a home stereo speaker for iPad and iPhone.
First, let me apologize to anyone who speaks okay, because I just said something that was horrible - I don't even know what I just said, sorry. Anyway, here's a picture of the box. Got to say, this thing looks freaking beautiful, I cannot wait to get my hands on it and check out its sound quality. The design alone is really amazing; it's got touch controls right there.
Before we dive into the unboxing, let me announce that I will be giving away this speaker dock to a lucky viewer in my Thanksgiving 2010 video. You have to watch Thanksgiving 2010 this year for a chance on winning this. It's kind of like a giving thanks for you guys for all the support and uh, this is actually perfect timing for this giveaway. This is a worldwide giveaway, so be sure to watch Thanksgiving 2010 anyway. Back to this unboxing, figured you guys like free stuff, I mean who doesn't like free stuff, so I figured you guys would like a free speaker dock and it actually looks really nice.
Check out the design; it's great and it's obviously from the same guys over at gear.com. Let's take this out of the box. Got a cart in here, and here it is. Look at that, it even comes with a little remote which is pretty sweet. Over here, we have let me take all this stuff out real quick, oh wow, we have a lot of dock adapters for all the different size iPods since obviously iPod designs have changed dramatically over the years, that's cool that they give you all the options though.
Here is an included remote; I got to say, I like little things like that and it actually feels pretty nice in my hands. Take this out to activate the remote there you go, pretty cool but oh wait, sa best for L what this should be the power adapter? Yep, your standard power adapter, there you go and now, oh also em manual.
I know a lot of sidetracking here; let's finally get to the house party 5 which I got to say I actually like the name a lot. I'm usually not a big fan of yellow but I got to say yellow on black looks amazing. Look at that it's got a high gloss finish right here are the touch control buttons you cannot see them cuz they're not lighting up but there's the power button, it's obviously off right now.
You got the speakers here, the backside we got a power switch it's obviously not orang there are no batteries in here but actually I don't think it even takes batteries I think it's just straight up power going back down here again AL in so if you um do not have an iPhone or iPad that's okay as long as you use a 3 and a half millim standard this will work perfectly fine. Here's your power, then the power switch again and the gear 4 branding logo up here to insert dock adapter press down firmly until it clicks pretty self-explanatory but there it is guys.
