Nike Alpha Training Grip - My Favorite Workout Gloves

The Nike Alpha Training Grips: A Game-Changer for Weightlifters

As a seasoned weightlifter, I can attest to the importance of having the right gear to perform at my best. One piece of equipment that has revolutionized my training is the Nike Alpha Training Grip. These gloves have become an essential part of my workout routine, and I'm excited to share why.

When it comes to heavy weights like bench press, incline bench press, flat bench press, curls, and triceps exercises, especially those that require maximum grip, these gloves are a must-have. The textured grip on the palms provides unparalleled traction, allowing me to hold onto the bar with confidence even when lifting heavy weights. I've found that these gloves work particularly well for bench press exercises, and I often recommend them to my fellow lifters.

One of the key features that sets these gloves apart from others is their ability to provide a secure grip without compromising comfort. The gloves are designed to fit snugly around my hands, allowing me to lift with maximum intensity without feeling restricted or uncomfortable. Whether I'm doing heavy curls or triceps exercises, these gloves give me the confidence and control I need to push myself to new heights.

While some may be concerned about the durability of these gloves, I can attest that they hold up incredibly well over time. Even after three years of use, mine still look like new, with only minor wear and tear visible on the palms. This is a testament to the quality construction and materials used in their manufacture.

In terms of comfort, I've found that these gloves are surprisingly comfortable, even during extended periods of heavy lifting. The material is breathable and lightweight, allowing me to move freely without feeling weighed down or restricted. While I do have severe calluses on my hands due to my heavy lifting routine, I find that these gloves help to mitigate some of the discomfort associated with repetitive strain injuries.

One of the most significant benefits of using these gloves is the ability to maintain a secure grip even during pull-ups and shrugs. This feature is particularly useful for individuals who struggle with grip strength or find it difficult to maintain a good grip during certain exercises. While I do experience some discomfort when doing pull-ups with these gloves, I've found that removing them and giving my hands a quick rub can alleviate the issue.

In terms of overall value, I believe that these gloves offer an exceptional return on investment. At $30, they may seem like a pricey accessory, but trust me, they're worth every penny. The grip they provide is unmatched, and their durability ensures that they'll last for many workouts to come.

For those interested in trying out the Nike Alpha Training Grip, I highly recommend purchasing the largest size available (large). While my hands are quite large, these gloves still fit comfortably and provide a snug, secure fit. Additionally, I've found that leaving them slightly loose allows for adequate room inside to adjust as needed.

In conclusion, the Nike Alpha Training Grip is an essential piece of equipment for anyone serious about weightlifting. With their unparalleled grip, comfort, and durability, they offer an unbeatable value proposition for lifters looking to take their training to the next level. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, I wholeheartedly endorse these gloves as a must-have accessory in your workout routine.

the Nike Alpha training grips treadlock traction padn fingertip feel all right basically the same as the website so let me grab the little unboxing knife let's just get through this little little piece of plastic right here shout out to the little unboxing knife let's try to get this on the first try ra okay and these pop right out okay now these are official Nike product you can read through this if you want but basically these are a nice set of grips now if you look it is labeled you see left and right so you got your left and right so this way when you take these off you'll know now if you put them on backwards if you put them on the wrong hand you can still use them but they feel a lot better on the right hand okay now these are my favorite workout gloves if you want to call them gloves or grips whatever these are my favorite ones now I will say this I will say this these are not the best for doing pull-ups if you're doing pull-ups let me show you the inside now the inside has this super grip now this is a really really thick grip especially when it gets toward the top on the bottom doesn't really affect you that much but around the part right here that bends and around the top if you're doing pull-ups and you're pulling your whole body weight up your hands you're going to start to feel it in the palms of your hands it's going to it's going to hurt a little bit so let me tell you the exercises that I do that I really take these off all the time I don't do exercises the exercises that I don't do with these on when you're doing shoulder shrug you don't want to wear these all right especially if you're doing heavyweight now when I do my shrugs I do about four plates on each side of the machine you don't want to use these if you're doing pull-ups you don't want to use these all right so pretty much that's the only two exercises that I take these off with or if you're doing push-ups you know no need to have these on doing push-ups unless you're doing push-ups outside in the ground or somewhere you know on a funny surface then you could actually leave these on I've done it before but when I'm in the gym I pretty much take these off now the thing I like about these is they hold the shape all right they hold the shape now let me show you real quick just for comparison these are my old ones that I had in the gym bag I had these for about I want to say about three years and I work out with these every every workout I always use these all right and look how they stayed after 3 years you just see a little wear and tear but they pretty much look exactly the same as the new ones after 3 years all right so now when you're working out heavy and you sweating all over the place once you throw these in your gym bag you take them out you know a few minutes later they completely dry these don't hold any sweat it's just a solid piece of rubber also when you're working out now you know when you're changing weights you don't want to wear these when you're changing the weights all right I find that it's a little uncomfortable so what I do is I just push these on the bench or the bar wherever I'm at and I leave them like this and it's so easy to just slide your fingers back in you don't even have to touch them and get back to the weights but if you're doing heavy weights like bench press incline bench press flat flat bench press curls triceps especially curls these give you the best grip but I I find these work phenomenal for bench press all right so if you're a dude or lady and you like doing heavy bench press these are going to give you maximum grip right when you put these on trust me you and you you do some curls now I don't know what kind of weight y'all got at your gym but my gym all of the dumbbells have that you know that threaded pattern in the grips so if you're not wearing gloves and you're doing heavy weights it's going to be annoying now these aren't the best for preserving your hands if you look at my hands I got severe calluses on all of my hands cuz I work out heavy but if you're not if you don't really care about that now you can go home and file these off if you want I know the ladies don't like that but this on a scale of 1 to 10 I'll give these a nine the only thing I don't like about them is like I said when you're doing pull-ups or you're doing shrugs they will hurt your hand like I tried to do pull-ups with these the other day I had to literally take them off and I had to had to go like this and just rub my hands together cuz you know when you're pulling your body weight up it's a lot of weight depending on how much you weigh but look at the grip on this all super grip super traction take it from me buy these and hit the bench press with these and thank me later all right trust me got
