One of the sad news announcements was that their beloved turtle, Trouser, had passed away. The creator had taken care of Trouser for a while, but it ultimately didn't make it. last night getting packed and loaded had some posters to sign I was up past midnight doing that as well but we are all loaded up here we got the S2000 got the hatch and we are getting ready to make the 30 hour drive to Colorado it's a freaking brutal drive but we've done it a few times it's been a while though but what sucks is that we are doing this both solo me and Wyatt I'm the only one driving this rig and he's the only one driving his truck and trailer and he's actually making a stop in Indy to drop off some stuff for the ultimate call out challenge so he will be meeting up with me a little later in Colorado and I'm getting a head start here and uh just getting right on the road so I'm hoping I can do it with just one stop uh late tonight and then knock out the rest of the drive tomorrow but it's gonna suck boys but we'll see you guys in a couple days I'm really excited to be back in Colorado and go see the Colorado shop and hang out with all of our friends out there we got some fun stuff planned so let's get to it we are officially out of Florida we just passed the sign heading tension in time on camera but you look right there and we are entering Georgia thank you all right guys I am 12 hours in we have a little over five hours to go my freaking mud flap on the Platinum is tearing off on me you can hear it rattling down the highway so that guy's about to come off honestly I should probably just zip it off real quick looks like there's just a little bolt holding it on up there but lost a mud flap on the truck got some Dairy Queen and I'm trying to make it to our buddy Matt McCreery's tonight and then finish the rest of the drive tomorrow so I'm looking to get there about midnight and uh yeah wake up bright and early and hopefully tomorrow night we will be in Colorado foreign just after midnight I made it to my buddy Matt's over here in Kansas City Missouri and I am definitely ready for a nap I decided to leave the mud flap hanging off the Platinum here and she is still holding on see if it makes it to Colorado hasn't fallen off yet yeah time to get some sleep and then we will continue on in the morning bang we gotta get some wheels on ours that looks good there's some RPF ones on there yeah definitely need some yeah let's clean it up a lot good on anything yeah I was not expecting you to have that when I walked down I was like oh he has an s2002 now got the sleeper Civic over there in the race car dude she's Dusty and a lot of this thing sit too long waiting for you to take it to Florida I remember when we first came here this was like the cleanest Civic I'd ever seen in person and now you have all the clean ones now I'm slowly getting cleaned up getting ready to throw this thing on a fuel Tech yep yep got ft 550 for it and changing the radiator setup and stuff on it so we'll uh get a 550 on it and maybe bring it to Florida you want to see this thing up and going again me too I've actually never even seen it run in person so really dang it dang it I've seen it I've seen it idle run but yeah yeah yeah but I've seen that you've had it at PFI to dino it and all the stuff I've actually never seen it make some power in person yeah hopefully this year oh yeah oh yeah got that fresh fuel tag going on that's what we like to see it's a lot brighter than the last time you saw it yeah it is it's super bright man it's so clean she came out pretty good because the last time it was out here when we drove from Colorado to Florida yeah with me and Brent dying yeah that was your first drive out there with it wasn't it yep yeah that was we had the dog box transmission in the back yep it was loaded down with stuff yeah and you almost died yeah that was rough that fuel pump let go and me and Brent were off in exhaust fumes we had gas masks on you even had to pull the manifold off and re-world demand yeah it was cracking dude that manifold has been through it all I thought it would be cool if I drove it back to Colorado but I was like you know it would have been really cool I don't need those problems right now well I'm gonna get out of here about another 10 hours to go about you got a long road to go but I appreciate you letting me stay it's been good almost a couple years since I had to stop by here yeah it's been a while Brent and Jamie stopped by here pretty often but yeah it's been a while since you moved to have a round and move all this stuff around oh yeah it honestly feels like I never left yeah it's weird being back you're gonna have to take your hats over and park it with my car now they're both painted all good oh yeah and you get some pictures together oh man there she is boys the old prelude for things just sitting here collecting dust got Lily's paw prints all over the windshield I don't know how many comments and people that have come up to me in person at events saying they want to see this thing back up in action that has really surprised me we definitely gotta get the Prelude back up and going again you know get it back to Florida or come back out here and just go over the car get it on a fuel Tech go through this thing and uh get it in the eights would be the ultimate goal it'd definitely be easier to do down in Florida with the better air but there still is yet to be an eight second Prelude I believe this one is still third in the world even though we haven't touched it in years and we got a buddy Mario back here getting his ready for this weekend I know he's trying to push for that Prelude record as well and there's a couple others that are active Aaron Lopez actually just put an all-wheel drive Prelude together that's gonna just destroy the Prelude record but I think we could be a good candidate for the fastest front-wheel drive Prelude if we ever get back to this thing we will definitely do it I know I've seen a lot of comments about it and I do miss this car so many good memories with this thing this is actually the fastest car we ever did while we were out here in Colorado we're in a nine six at like 162 I think on the mountain out here so we'll get her up and going again one day boys and then over here you guys already know I got the old Razzle Dazzle and like I promised a long time ago I said I was going to try to get a sequential transfer this unit and they were a little out of my price range but luckily we got this one from Tavares for an awesome deal uh the PFI guys had a friend coming back from Florida to Colorado so I had that go down with that guy and then now it is here and then Brent and then have been working on it for me getting some stuff mocked up just to make sure that it will fit and we'll probably have a whole video on this while we're here trying to get it up and running we're just waiting on some custom clutch stuff to come in which we will go over with you guys here soon and sorry if I don't sound super enthusiastic right now I just been driving as you guys saw for like the last day and a half but yeah boys feels pretty good to be back pretty surreal something you guys may not know is my dad's really into old Triumph Motorcycles so he has a whole bunch of these frames over here and he's been like rebuilding them our little room over here is full of old Triumph parts so my dad's been over here playing with his motorcycles but I'm gonna go ahead and get the cars unloaded I got some other stuff to do and Brent's not going to be here for a few hours I'm not sure if I'll even get to see him tonight or not but I'm gonna go ahead and unload the hatch and I think I'm just going to take it over to the house because it's only you know a 10 minute drive it's been over two years since the hatch has been back in Colorado time to breed that Rocky Mountain Air once again it's definitely gonna be a little slower up here oh yeah get this thing unloaded real quick and we made it definitely should have brought some sunglasses though so I drove the hatch back to the house yesterday and she drove over great no issues whatsoever I did a couple pools and the air fuels and everything were looking awesome that's the nice thing about having the fuel Tech on there now is that the ECU can just self-correct for the fueling if we had this thing on a Honda still it would have been breaking up and sputtering and we would have had to retune for the elevation change that's what's so nice about having the fuel tank on there that she's running great it is turned down a little bit and we're still probably going to put it on the dyno just to make sure the tune is as good as it could be because even though the car is running good it's probably correcting to make it run good and it's just going to be better for the ECU to not have to correct and if we can get the tune on point we have the time to do that then that would be better and just get the tune right where it needs to be but the correction factor was really nice because we've never been able to drive a car from Colorado to Florida or out of state and it just run perfect right when we get there so that was awesome but yeah I've decided to leave the hood at home I was is going to bring it with but I just didn't want to deal with it and if I was by myself it's hard to take on and off and since I just didn't have time to run a downpipe or even try that out just to please some of you guys for a little bit I just uh left the hood off so she is missing the hood but made it over to the house no problem and before I head back to the shop to go see Brent and the guys we got some stuff to do I figured I'd give you a quick update on this place so for those of you that may or may not know obviously most of you guys do know we lived in Colorado before Florida this is the house that I had last before we made the move out to Florida I still have this house and I still have the same two friends living in this place from when I first moved here and that's about it so I always have this place to crash at when I come back from Florida I still have a room here so it's very convenient and it's only 10 minutes from the shop because when I got this place I got it because I also have the shop and uh yeah I also have some sad news saw a couple comments that you guys wanted some pet updates my turtles I gave those away a long time ago and I did have trouser here for a little bit but while I was gone um trouser went to snakey heaven and he is no longer with us which I am sad about my friends were taking care of them for a while and uh one day old trouser bit the dust and I had that snake for so freaking long but that's all that's about all I got for right now nothing too crazy same old house back in Colorado I'm gonna go back to the shop today and uh go say what up to Brent what's up what is up dude made it know this is clutchless you know similar to your stuff without a string you just back and forth back and forth five gears so I'm I'm still at the end it's been a long time coming it really has something this thing needs to make a path while I'm out here we're gonna make it happen yeah 100 percent so sick dang right got a new forklift yeah she just goes backwards at the moment are you certified to use that thing no forward gear that is definitely a Brent special right there Joe fox running they're all together well guys that's about it for right now I'm going to be coming back tomorrow and we're hoping that the clutch will be in for the Razzle here so we can get started on getting this thing back together and getting the sequential transmission so I want to dedicate a whole day and video to working on this it might take a couple days but I wanted to get the razzle dazzle up and going while we're down here we're going to be racing the hatch this weekend at Bandimere for
