**The Dual Molex to Six-Pin Converter: A Necessary Evil**
As we begin our experiment, a fun fact emerges: Molex is actually Dr. Evil's connector of choice. Fortunately, this is a dead connector standard because it truly is the worst. Let's fire up the system and see what happens if I start uncontrollably vomiting - that'll be a sign that it irradiated me and fission did indeed happen.
**The First Test: Unsuccessful Output**
There we go! Hmm, maybe the iGPU is still running the show. Let me let me switch over all these components plugged into each other gives off such a strong chemical smell that it smells like it's already been on fire. Try disabling the iGPU so let's see if that has done anything.
**The Second Test: A Different Outcome**
So after trying various configurations, I couldn't actually get this to output a signal on the cheapest PC of R, which is weird because I've used the graphics card with it before and it was fine. And then after I plugged this in, graphics cards don't work in that system anymore - so that's a little bit dodgy.
**Installing Windows: A Signal Appears**
What I'm going to do now is try it in a different test bed which I'm actually installing Windows on now at the moment. As you can see, it's outputting a signal! So if it doesn't output a signal with this, means there's probably something wrong with the graphics card - which would be a first. I've actually never had a scam graphics card not at least output a signal.
**The Power Supply: A Fission Reaction**
And on a final note, don't worry; I'm still using the fission reaction power supply for the testing. Okay, so this is system number two which we've now confirmed worked before we plugged this in. So let's see what happens - fans spinning up! Things are happening! Let's see if we get a video out!
**A Video Out: No Radiation Sickness... Yet**
Yay! We've got a video out! Nothing's caught on fire, exploded, and I haven't been irradiated as far as I can tell. Although granted, radiation sickness does take a while to set in - so I may still start uncontrollably vomiting.
**Fake Graphics Card Behavior: A Standard Feature**
So it does the standard fake graphics card thing of just outputting a signal in the middle of the display for some reason; I don't know why it does that. Let's try and install GTX 1050 Ti drivers and see what NVIDIA's driver suite makes of this card.
**GPU-Z: A Graphics Card Sniffer Dog**
Well, that's not a very good sign! Okay, let's try that again; it probably won't work but let's just have a look. So apparently every time we try and install official graphics card drivers on this system, it just blows screens of death.
**GPU-Z: A Unique Twist**
So let's have a look at what GPU-Z - which is like the fake graphics card sniffer dog has to say about this graphics card. That's actually really interesting! This is the first fake graphics card that somehow scammed its way past the GPU-Z; it doesn't show you anything!
**The Cooler: A Scooby-Doo Villain Reveal**
Look at that! That's one of the things I really like about doing videos about these scam graphics cards because every time you get one and have a look at it, there's some other unique twist on the issue with that. Let's peel off the cooler and see how this definitely isn't a GTS 450!
**The Cooler: A Plot Twist**
Okay, it's this Scooby-Doo villain reveal time! We'll find out that it's actually my uncle - take the cooler off! Oh plot twist of the century! I bet none of you saw that coming. It was just another damn GTS 450!
**A Variant of a Variant: The Mystery Deepens**
Although interestingly with the normal versions of the GTS 450 they actually have the number GF 106, 250 KAA1, whereas this is 110, KAA1! Now I can't find any specific information about that variant online other than a couple of Alibaba posts - so that may just have something to do with the memory configuration.
**The Reason Behind Fake GTS 450s: A Mystery**
I still don't know why all these fake cards are based on the GTS 450. Maybe there's some weird chromatic reason for it like if you were a really bad person in a previous life, you just get reincarnated as a GTS 450 - to be used in a scam graphics card!
**A Warning: Don't Buy Graphics Cards Online (If You're Canadian)**
Uh anyway, stay safe out there! And if you're Canadian, apparently, you shouldn't buy graphics cards online! If you like this video, don't forget to like and subscribe for more content - thanks for watching!
