Note 7 Recall Reactions - The Tech World Responds

The Note 7 Recall: A Look at the Tech World's Reaction

I want to address the comments that were left on my video regarding the Note 7 recall. I knew that some of you thought I was being irresponsible by not immediately suggesting that everyone exchange their Note 7, regardless of whether or not they've had a problem with the battery. So, I thought it would be interesting to talk about what the rest of the tech world is saying about the Note 7 recall, which turned out to be a heartbreakingly billion-dollar mistake.

It looks like Mr. Tech Buffalo himself received the same criticism that I did and said he will swap his Note 7 and document the process. However, Mr. MKBHD, also known as the "Ultimate" tech reviewer, had no such gumption and is now playing hot potato with the issue. What about Jerry Rig Everything who made a video where his Note 7 actually explodes on camera? But what you might not know is that he perforated the battery intentionally with his tweezers, which caused it to explode. He didn't seem to have any issues with this fact and instead used clickbait tactics to get viewers to watch his video.

Not everyone has been critical of Samsung's handling of the recall. Our senior editor, Gushy himself, has actually applauded Samsung for the way they carried out the recall. Meanwhile, our Intrepid reviewer Lawn was too busy driving his new pink car to comment on the issue. My brother Haime Riva seems to be in love with the Note 7 camera and has been using lots of hashtags in Berlin, lovingly saying "Note 7" over and over again.

Our main man Joshua Vagera wants you to know that he loves his Note 7 still and has been vlogging all week with it. However, after the 36th incident of a Note 7 exploding, Mr. Mobile himself Michael Fiser has said that at this point if you haven't exchanged your recalled Note 7, it's sort of foolish. Our own Android authorities, Narv, wants you to know that he smelled some burning but it wasn't from his own oven - it was actually from his own oven!

I want to note that it is statistically highly unlikely that you will ever have this problem even if you have a Note 7. However, because there is a minute chance that it may overheat and cause serious consequences, the most responsible thing to say is to exchange your recalled Note 7. Just remember that devices every year overheat or have some sort of serious failure when you're selling millions of them. There are going to be devices that blow up, and it's just a matter of time before they do.

So, why did this get so much attention? It's because the Note 7 is a flagship device and it happened three weeks after its launch. That's why people are paying such close attention to this issue. Let me know what you think - I know you will, and I'll be reading them.
