Cooking is fun! I love it. Today, we are going to cook some delicious Korean food together.

First, let's make spicy noodles. This is a popular Korean dish that is very easy to make. We will need some noodles and a spicy sauce. All you have to do is boil the noodles according to the package instructions until they are soft. Then add some spicy sauce and your favorite toppings such as vegetables or meat. Cook for about 5 minutes and then done! Wow, spicy! I like it. It's a little sweeter than my recipe, but really good.

Next, let's make bibimguksu, Korean cold noodles. See? This is the noodles, so cute! (laughs) So small. Look at that. And sauce. Just only 2 packages. Add noodles and then cook them until they are very soft for about 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Then massage in some cold running water to make the temperature of the noodles cold. Drain this water. It has already sesame oil inside, but I like to add extra sesame oil. And mix while mixing, my mouth is watering. (laughs) Mmm! Sweet and sour sauce. This is so good, I love it! Especially when I travel and I feel like some Korean food or spicy noodles, instead of bringing gochujang, all everything, just I can buy one package of this and then make it, even in the hotel.

Samgyetang, ginseng chicken soup, is another popular dish that Koreans enjoy. Ginseng chicken sounds like really luxurious. That's cool, I'm so excited to see inside! Open. Like this. So here, the expiration date. Always check the expiration date. Put it here. Let's cover this. I like to add more garlic. Because we have some. Why not? I want to see this. Maneul. It looks like this. Each one is 1 teaspoon. I will just add this. Let's add about 1 teaspoon water. Mmm! Smells like garlic! And nice color also, not brownish. Cool! Smells really garlicky. Really. Yeah it already starts boiling. Never have too much garlic in samgyetang. You guys who receive this package just follow what I'm doing and you will be so happy, won't you? Even if you don't belong to the winners, you guys can pick this up from a Korean grocery store and bring home and then just make this.

Wow, it's milky! Chicken meat, and even bones, and this is jujube. And this is chestnut! Yay, ginseng! Ok, I cooked this over high heat for 5 minutes. 5 minutes after, everything is boiling, it's so hot. You know, in summertime Koreans eat samgyetang. Because to conquer the heat by eating temperature hot food. This is like samgyetang. And then you feel so energized. It makes sense? Good! Broth is so delicious. I love it. I'm surprised, this readymade food is so good quality.

Next, let's make potato pancake. Open. 1/2 cup. 1 cup water. This potato mixture is going to absorb the water, so it will thicken soon. Let it sit for 5 minutes. 5 minutes. You see? It thickened. This consistency. I like it. My pan is heated, let's put some oil. And add this. I like to add some green onion, and it really enhances taste plus looking. I'm going to cook this until the bottom side is crunchy. Use a spatula. Like this. And chopped green onion. When I sprinkle some chopped green onion on top, it looks really awesome. You can serve by itself but sauce is always good.

You remember this seasoning sauce? The mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, and hot pepper flakes (Korean gochugaru). Kind of salty and sour taste. Yeah! Nice. Ok, done. Here you go! This is gamja-jeon, potato pancake, and you can make 2 this size with 1 package. Nice. Let me taste. (laughs) Delicious! More delicious than I thought. Mmm. Crunchy, soft, chewy. It tastes a little like french fries, but inside is like rice cake. Really good. This is a side dish, stew. Doenjang- jjigae.

It's all written in Korean. I wish they wrote in English here, but you can see this photo. The photo shows Korean bean paste stew. This is my small 2 cup earthenware pot. This is doenjang- jjigae. Broth plus inside stuff. Ok it looks like this. And this is my earthenware pot. But you can use any stainless steel pot, too. It says:

This is for 2 servings.Take out rice cakes. Throw this away.I'm going to wash quickly.And soak in cold water.I'm boiling 2 cups of water.Put this rice cakes here in the boiling water.This is the fish cake.See?
