Lamborghini Aventador SVJ _ REVIEW on AUTOBAHN [NO SPEED LIMIT] by AutoTopNL

**A Behind-the-Wheels Look at the Lamborghini SVJ**

As I stepped into the Lamborghini SVJ, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. The car's imposing presence, with its pillar box-like windscreen and chunky carbon fiber monocoque, made it clear that this was no ordinary supercar. The seats, while not exactly ergonomic, seemed to be designed more for dramatic effect than actual comfort.

As I adjusted the seat and started the engine, I was immediately struck by the car's relatively low startup noise. However, as soon as I put it into gear and accelerated, the sound of the V12 engine roared to life, making my heart skip a beat. The sequential manual gearbox, while not exactly the most conventional choice, added an air of drama to the driving experience, with its clunky shifts and abrupt acceleration.

**A Wild Ride**

As I put the car through its paces, I was struck by just how intense it was. The launch control system kicked in seamlessly, propelling me forward with incredible force. However, as soon as I shifted gears, the shifts became increasingly aggressive, with a jolt that sent my body flying back into its seat. It was like being on a rollercoaster, with the car's body shaking and rattling around me.

The SVJ's handling was equally impressive, with the car hugging the road like a glove as I carved through corners and accelerated down straights. The ride, however, was not exactly comfortable, with the suspension taking a beating as I pushed the car to its limits.

**A Unique Driving Experience**

One of the most interesting aspects of driving the SVJ was the feeling that I needed to be constantly aware of my surroundings. The side view mirrors, while not exactly useful for seeing what was behind me, were more like an excuse to admire the car's aggressive stance. And the rearview camera? Forget about it - it was completely obscured by the engine cover.

But despite these minor annoyances, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and respect for this incredible machine. The way it devoured the road with its 770 horsepower V12 engine was nothing short of breathtaking, and the feeling of being thrown around like a rag doll in the cabin only added to the excitement.

**A Record-Breaker?**

Of course, one of the most impressive things about the SVJ is its performance. Not only did it break the Nürburgring lap record, but it also demonstrated a level of handling and agility that was truly remarkable. The car's stability, while not exactly the most comfortable thing in the world, made me feel like I was on a mission to conquer the track.

And then there was the driver who took this car around the Nürburgring at an incredible 644.97 kilometers per hour - a feat that left me speechless and shaking my head in awe. Who is this guy, anyway? And how did he manage to tame such a beast of a car?

**A Special Car, Every Time**

As I brought the SVJ back down to earth (or at least, as much as it's possible to bring a 770-horsepower supercar back down) and turned off the engine, I couldn't help but feel a sense of appreciation for this incredible machine. The drama, the excitement, the sheer intensity of driving the SVJ - it was an experience that I will never forget.

And as I stood there, catching my breath and grinning from ear to ear, I realized that all the quirks and flaws were just part of what made this car so special. Whether you're a seasoned racing enthusiast or just a fan of supercars in general, the Lamborghini SVJ is an experience unlike any other - and one that I would highly recommend to anyone who gets the chance to drive it.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this pov review by auto top now my name is max and today is a lamborghini day because wow wow we finally got hold of a lamborghini aventador svj it is insane i mean just standing next to it looking at it this car demands respect and is just so imposing i'm so stoked to be able to review this car for you guys uh it is ten to nine in the evening as you can see nice the sun is going down should be quiet on the ultraman as well so today i'm going to walk around it show you all the cool stuff on this car and there is a lot and then we'll take it for a drive towards the ultraman for an autobahn blast and also check out the company that lent us this car because renee the owner of xxl nutrition is the one who very kindly gave us this car for a couple of hours i mean that is just so awesome so xxl nutrition and especially of course renee thank you so much uh really awesome of you xxl nutrition is a company that specializes in everything for bodybuilding and fitness so renee himself started bodybuilding back in the day and he couldn't really find the right protein shakes and supplements so at one point he found something in germany and so many people started asking him to bring some back for him that he had to take a van to germany and bring all the stuff back again for his friends and acquaintances and that's how the company started and now they are well quite a large company on this front they really have everything for bodybuilding and fitness so go check them out link is in the description and the top comment xxl nutrition and renee especially thank you so much really awesome so i'm going to start with all the cool stuff that makes an svj and svj because an aventador is already super crazy of course but this svg just turns everything up to 11. so let's start at the front at the front splitter because you can see that this has a very pronounced splitter you can actually see the difference here from the front bumper to the splitter if i hover right above it and you can see the ala the ala and this is the active arrow that makes this svj such a freaking beast it's also one of the reasons why this car broke the production car lab record around the nurburgring 6 minutes 44.96 seconds so this active arrow you can see the little flaps here in the front bumper actually these flaps stay closed on regular driving so when you're driving around these are closed this is a normal splitter the wing on the rear is a normal wing but when you drive fast in a straight line these little flaps open the air is guided underneath the car so that reduces drag in itself the under body is completely flat with a couple of smart things and of course it works together with the diffuser to guide the air reduce drag and improve the straight line speed this works together with the rear wing which is also active i'll show you in a minute and also with the rear wheel steering the dampers the four wheel drive this all works together to make this car so freaking fast around the round the nurburgring which is i mean really cool and as a car like it's more like a freaking spaceship this thing you'll see the rear is even crazier but all this stuff going on here in the front bumper with that carbon fiber here that green black it just it's so intricate there are so many things going on and it makes it just look like a freaking race car spaceship if if there were if there if there was a like racing series for space shuttles this is what it would look like that's basically how i feel and as always with these crazy crazy lambos it just it sucks all the attention from around it so if you stand next to it there will be people standing around you oh i was hoping that i would turn around and there would be someone looking but there's not but with this car i mean people just stop they stop on the road when you drive past them they stop their car on the road to turn around and to look at you it's just so insane how commanding this car is and how it sucks the attention now the wheels we've got these beautiful 20-inch wheels with lamborghini carbon ceramic brakes behind that very good brakes great brake performance pedal is a bit soft but the performance is really good we've got carbon fiber mirror caps a carbon fiber side skirt as well with a little winglet there very very cool carbon inlet here and check out this freaking air intake i mean you could fit a watermelon on here in here luckily there's a grate so it stops you from sucking in little deer and other small poultry it is massive xxl nutrition logo yay cool company um a veteran svj badge down here svj by the way standing for super veloce yota it's only the second time i think they brought out the yota badge which started with the miura back in the day at the rear we've got 21 inch wheels and i mean that wheel design with that y spoke really beautiful center locks and as i said the rear is even crazier than the front i mean oh oh my god that is just a slap in the face how cool is that how cool is this freaking engine cover with this little window here so you can look at the v12 and as your mill showed you in his aventador s roadster review the v12 is not completely in the middle so it's a little offset to the left and that is to make room for the drive train going to the rear wheels i think the driveshafts i think that was it but we also have these hood pins here oh i can't open them yes does that am i going to do this yes i am okay so there is the 6.5 liter naturally aspirated v12 engine what a beast of an engine absolutely insane this also looks like it's from a space shuttle so uh it's got 770 horsepower and that is a little bit more than in the outgoing sv and that's because we've got titanium valves now we've got a reworked cylinder head and uh inlet manifold is different as well so is the exhaust it's shorter than before and that's also the reason the exhaust is right there and not down there so that's why it's shorter i think this looks better as well this is really awesome and as you can see we've also got inboard pushrod suspension so uh spring and damper rate are a bit stiffer no the dampers are a bit stiffer than in the sv i believe uh other than that it's basically the same setup so i'm going to close this carefully oh yes i was scared it wouldn't close but that is closed awesome so we've got a little air intake right here that brings air into the spoiler this is part of the ala or the ala system so air goes in here and there are little holes in here that let out the air so that is to stall the wing which basically means to cancel out the down force of the wing so it the air is pushed through here comes out here and creates this vortex down here which uh reduces drag which is super smart but look at that rear wing that is just a work of art so cool uh so when the the system isn't working this just works as a regular wing and they can even uh vector the amount of air coming out of the spoiler from left to right and that's what i meant when it when i said it works together with all the rest of the systems if you go through a corner hard they can actually only stall one part of the wing so the right or the left which is super awesome now we've also got this massive diffuser as you can see this is just a motorsport diffuser that is so big and aggressive uh we've got just cooling here no grades in front of that and this beautiful exhaust which produces a lot of blue flames when it gets darker so i hope we can shoot some of that as well both the flames and the images but man what an impressive car it is a sight to behold now let's get in and well in here this is the thing they really didn't care about at lamborghini which is the driver yes this car will go around the track really quick but if you're taller than six feet this is a horrible place to be and that's mainly because you've got this pillar box of a windscreen the seats are not great seating position is just a bit strange so yeah that it i don't really care because it's a a really cool supercar so i guess there should be some drawbacks um we've got a carbon fiber monocoque as well as you can see this is super wide that's the monocoque yeah it is it is a very special place to be especially in this svj with that carbon fiber door really beautiful okay let's start it up so the startup isn't even that loud but the car itself is really loud so if we go to neutral parking brake oh that is ridiculous uh rear view is absolutely ruined by this engine cover as you can see can't see anything the side view mirrors are basically a way to admire the side of your car uh that all really doesn't matter i mean it's all about the drama in this car so we'll go to corsa of course and we'll turn off traction control so we have launch control later on first gear there we go okay come on max angle i have to lean forward a little bit so you guys have a good view there we go this should be it come on okay so driving it we still have the sequential manual gearbox of course which means that you lunge forward on a gear shift with regular driving like that so you're thrown a bit um this gearbox i don't know how old this is i mean they've been using it forever and even when it came out people were like yeah that's not great but this is only the case in ninety percent of the time when you're driving around and just normal driving what's up however there are horses not going to go absolutely crazy um however if you're on it oh my god if you're on it those shifts turn into freaking neck breakers it is incredible so oh at higher rpms and more throttle input the shifts get more aggressive uh this culminates at 8700 rpm the red line oh and when you shift at that red line the shift is super quick and this jolt is sent through the entire car and your body is i mean it's being bounded by this car it is insane oh oh my goodness honestly i've never experienced anything like that it is more violent this car than anything i've ever driven it is also more violent than in an aventador s i've not drip i have not driven an sv but it's definitely more violent than an s and it just it takes your breath away it's that crazy oh that guy back in the tunnel in the mustang he got a good view oh man it is absolutely mental i i can't honestly can't believe that someone took this car around the nurburgring in 644 97 i mean you have to be like well you have to be a freaking bull fighter honestly to to wrestle muscle this car round that track that quickly this this man has to be freaking extraterrestrial he's not from planet earth i can tell you that okay so at the ultraman let's see what this car feels like over there oh my lord it's insane honestly okay little bump and there we go so big power 770 horsepower is at 8500 rpm so that is just 200 rpm shy of the red line which means it's definitely a good thing to go all the way and use the entire rev counter oh my goodness this thing is mental i'm actually i feel like i'm freaking working so i know these bumps are coming and i have to break for them man that was a freaking workout you have to pay attention you have to pay attention if you drive this car hard it is a handful what a car oh my lord this is one of the most intense automan drives i've done in a while so now you've seen what this svj can do i mean it is a beast like no other i mean i know they lost the nurburgring lab record to i think to the multi-racing porsche 911 gt2 rs which is not really a factory car of course this is and it is just the drama of lamborghini but it's not in vain you know it all the drama is there for a reason and it works and it makes the car faster and it's just such a special car i'm going to end it here we're going to record the the rest of the videos now before the sun goes down completely so i hope you enjoyed it again renee and xxl nutrition thank you so much for allowing us to drive
