NYE ''Glitter & Diamonds'' Party Look - Makeup Tutorial
**Nikk Tutorial’s New Year’s Eve Makeup Look: A Step-by-Step Guide**
---
Hey guys! Today, I’m sharing my New Year’s Eve look. This is probably what I’ll wear this Saturday, but before diving into the tutorial, I want to talk about something else—Twitter Person of the Year! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me already. It means the world to me.
**My Last Humble Request for 2023**
This year, my last humble question is to please vote once more for me for Twitter Person of the Year. I know some of you might be thinking, “Vote again? But I already did!” And that’s okay—I’m asking you all to do it once more or even a couple of times more if possible. Every vote counts, and I truly appreciate your support.
**Voting Details**
Next Saturday is the last day to vote for me before New Year’s Eve. That means you can vote every hour on that day. The voting link is right here in the info box below, so please use it if you want to help me out. If not, no worries—I won’t bug you anymore after this. But trust me, your support truly makes a difference.
Alright, now let’s get into the tutorial! I’m going to walk you through my New Year’s Eve look step by step.
---
### **Step 1: Preparing Your Eyelids**
The first thing you want to do is apply a base to prevent creasing. For this, I’m using the **Mac Soft Ochre Paint Pot**. This creates a smooth canvas for all the products to come. It’s lightweight and gives me that perfect base without any issues.
---
### **Step 2: Applying Eyeshadow Base**
Next, I’m taking the **Urban Decay 247 Glide-On Shadow Pencil** in shade “S.” I love this pencil because it glides on smoothly and doesn’t fade easily. I’m applying it all over my lid for a seamless base.
---
### **Step 3: Adding a Gold Touch**
Now, I’m reaching for the **Mac Retrospec Eyes Shadow** in a beautiful luster color. I’m going to apply this wet on top of the pencil for that stunning golden touch. It gives such a glamorous finish—perfect for New Year’s Eve!
---
### **Step 4: Enhancing with Dry Brushing**
Once the gold is set, I’m picking up another brush and applying the same Mac Retrospec Eyes Shadow dry on top. This adds depth and dimension to the look while keeping everything cohesive.
---
### **Step 5: Defining the Crease**
For the outer part of my crease, I’m using a **Mech Cross Cultural Brown Eyeshadow**. I’m starting by defining the crease and going a bit deeper into it. This helps create that classic winged look while adding warmth to the eye.
---
### **Step 6: Blending for a Smoked Effect**
To blend everything out, I’m using the same brown eyeshadow wet and applying it along the crease. You can blend as much or as little as you like—just make sure you give it that smoked, blendy feeling. I love how this adds dimension to the eye.
---
### **Step 7: Darkening the Outer Corner**
For a bit more drama, I’m using the **ILCA Eyeshadow in Wolf** to darken up the outer corner of my lid. This gives me that sultry, smoked-out look I’m going for.
---
### **Step 8: Highlighting the Brow Bone**
To add some glow, I’m using the **Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candle Light Powder** as a brow bone highlight. Not only does this powder make my brows pop, but it also doubles as a highlight on my cheekbones—talk about multitasking!
---
### **Step 9: Preparing for Black Eyeshadow**
Next up is the LC Eye Pencil in Noir (black). I’m using this to create a base for the black eyeshadow that’s coming next. Plus, I’m leaving a small spot open for the silver glitter—I don’t want anything blocking the sparkle!
---
### **Step 10: Adding Smokier Depth**
I’m blending everything out with a brush to make it a bit more smoky and dimensional. For extra depth, I’m using the Mech Cross Cultural again and blending it down along the lid.
---
### **Step 11: Setting Near the Lashes**
Near my lashes, I’m setting everything with a black shadow using the **Makeup Studio Reflex in Black**. This ultra-glittery product adds intensity and ensures that nothing fades near the lash line.
---
### **Step 12: Adding Silver Glitter**
Now, for the fun part—glitter! I’m using **Mac Silver Glitter** with a base from **La Splash Liquid Eyeliner Base**. This is perfect for making glitter stick. I’m applying it to that open spot on my lid—it’s going to make my eyes pop!
---
### **Step 13: Waterline and Mascara**
I’m putting a bit of black coal on my waterline using the **Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Z**. Then, I’m applying some mascara—specifically, **Makeup Studio Water-Resistant Volume**. For extra drama, I’m adding **Mac Corner Lashes**, which go on the corners of my eyes for a flirty finish.
---
### **Step 14: Adding Rhinestone Detail**
For that extra touch of luxury, I’m using some rhinestones. I’ve got a bag full of them, and I’m applying one to the bottom of my eye using lash glue. Once it’s dry, it gives me that stunning rhinestone eye look!
---
### **Step 15: Final Touches—Lipstick**
To complete the look, I’m going for a soft pinky nude lip. First, I’ll use the **Krice Ultimate Color Be Natural**, which is a really nice new color. Then, I’m adding a tiny bit of pink on top with **Sik’s Baby Doll Lipstick**. It’s subtle but adds just enough color.
---
### **Final Thoughts**
This look isn’t for everyone, but it’s definitely what I’ll be wearing this Saturday for New Year’s Eve. If you want to know everything I used, check out my website, **NikkTutorial.com**.
