Microsoft Store Not Working Windows 11

**Step-by-Step Guide to Fixing the Microsoft Store on Windows 10/11**

If you're experiencing issues with the Microsoft Store not opening or crashing immediately, follow this structured approach to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

### Step 1: Use "ws reset all" Command

1. **Access Search:** Open the Start menu and click on the search bar.

2. **Enter Command:** Type "ws reset all" as a single continuous string without spaces (e.g., "wsresetall").

3. **Execute:** Click on the result if it appears, which may require confirmation in a prompt box.

4. **Restart Store:** After completion, attempt to open the Microsoft Store again.

### Step 2: Reset via Apps & Features

1. **Navigate to Settings:** Open Start > Settings (gear icon).

2. **Go to Apps:** Select "Apps" and then "Apps & Features."

3. **Select Microsoft Store:** Click on "Microsoft Store" in the list.

4. **Advanced Options:** Click the three dots next to it, select "Advanced options," and navigate to "Reset and repair."

5. **Repair:** Click "Repair." After completion, consider clicking "Reset" as well.

6. **Restart PC:** Restart your computer and test the Microsoft Store.

### Step 3: PowerShell Commands

If the above steps fail, use these commands in PowerShell:

1. **Remove Store Packages:**

```powershell
Get-AppxPackage *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage
```

2. **Reinstall Store:**

```powershell
Get-AppxPackage -Name Microsoft.Store.Locale-neutral | Install-AppxPackage
```

3. **Restart:** Restart your PC after these commands.

### Additional Troubleshooting Steps

1. **Check Windows Updates:**

- Go to Settings > Update & Security and install any available updates.

2. **Antivirus/Firewall Check:**

- Temporarily disable third-party antivirus or firewall software to ensure they aren't blocking the Store.

3. **User Profile Issues:**

- Create a new admin account to test if the issue persists, indicating a possible profile problem.

4. **Event Viewer Analysis:**

- Check System and Security > Event Viewer for errors related to the Microsoft Store.

By systematically applying these steps, you can identify and resolve the root cause of the Microsoft Store malfunction on your Windows 10/11 system.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enonce you guys today we're taking a look at how to fix microsoft store is not working i.e when you open up the microsoft store you'll just get that little uh wheel spinning around there and it doesn't open up the microsoft store so you can't use it this is a very common problem this is on windows 11 and this also affects windows 10 as well and i'll show you how to fix it we'll show you free fixes that you can try to try to fix the microsoft store if yours is acting just like this or sometimes what happens is the microsoft store will open and it will automatically shut straight down i'll show you some of the things you can try to try and resolve this now this is quite a common problem for windows to have issues with the microsoft store and just bear in mind that if you're using either windows 10 or windows 11 just make sure your system is fully updated and you haven't blocked any sort of services or anything like that and done any sort of tweaks to stop that from working correctly so the first one to do is open up the search and type ws reset all one word just like this and you should see it pop up on the screen just click on that and a prompt box will open up and it will run and do its thing in the background once that does its thing it will open up the microsoft store and try to open the microsoft store if this doesn't work then i'll show you another method which you can do to try and fix the same issue so you can see this hasn't worked in this case so we will move on to the second method which you can try to fix the microsoft store so what we're going to do is click on the start button and go to settings when settings is open go to apps when you see apps open up go to apps and features here and that's what we need to click on here so make sure you're on apps and features so go back here and click apps and features it's this one that's it and then go down to where it says microsoft store and you should see three little dots here on the right hand side go advanced options and then go all the way down to the bottom here if you come down you should see there is a reset and repair section at the very bottom just underneath terminate so let's go down to that and click on repair you can try and click repair here and let it do its thing and then once that's done we can also hit reset as well and then we'll try this one as well and then what we'll do is restart the pc once we've done this and hopefully this rectifies the issue so we're going to close off this here and restart the pc and hopefully that will fix our problem so let's go ahead and hit the start button here and quickly restart i'll speed this process up so we can get back to the desktop and test it so you should see once we get back to the desktop that our microsoft store is fixed if it hasn't been fixed then you can try one more thing but we'll just quickly go to uh the microsoft store here and see if it populates and opens up so we'll give it a bit of time and there we go we now have the microsoft store back open again and it's now working properly the way it should now if you're still having an issue you can try this command in the powershell window and again this one i'll leave in the video description for you so go to the powershell to open up powershell by typing powershell in search and then hopefully this will fix your problems if not then you may need to do a repair install of the windows operating system and this is the command here i'll leave this in the video description for you and hopefully this fixes your issue and as you can see the microsoft store is working the way it should be and hopefully yours is too so i hope this video helps you out just a quick video here i'll be back from my holidays very soon and i'll be able to continue making videos for you these are all pre-recorded so i hope they are keeping you occupied why i'm not there to record daily videos but anyway i just want to say a
