just keep the box here it's too heavy for a router it's actually very big the box is very big and it's heavy and this router is not for everybody and again it's a pretty expensive router uh I purchased this router from Amazon India for $2,500 that's almost uh uh us $330 and um this router is supposed to have incredible Wi-Fi range and it's a true 4x4 design and in fact if you have been following me you'll notice that last year I had another high performance router that was the lynus wrt 1900 AC and that router is pretty decent in the 5 GHz AC band the range is pretty good but the problem that I'm having with that router is that in the 2.4 GHz band it's simply not that great and I'm hoping that with this router I'll be able to reach my garden also where almost any router cannot reach it so let's quickly do the unboxing of this device and I'll give you an overview so here we have the router itself let me quickly just break the scene and as you can see it's a massive box guys and uh let me also show one interesting thing about the pricing uh actually when it was launched the price was even higher uh and as you can see here is the sticker for the MRP and the MRP price could here on the box is 30,000 and it was selling for about 21 27,000 for a long time uh but again I got this W uh what do you say uh amazon.in for 20,500 I'll also have the link for flip card in the show notes and flip card it was listed as 24,000 so guys I'll have the links for both the amazon.in and Flipkart again check out both the sites and if you're planning to buy any device or Etc uh wherever you get a better deal go with that anyways to give you an idea uh again here is it says that it has a three-year warranty and it's also known as the AC 2400 and it says that we also get 100 gigs of cloud storage and the thing with this router is that on the 5 GHz AC ban you get speeds up to uh 1,734 and on the 2.4 GHz ban up to 600 again 2.4 GHz band is actually very important because still I would say almost 70% of the devices rely on that and all your old devices will still rely on the 2.4 GHz band uh this AC is coming with new devices and it also has AI radar to actually Focus the Wi-Fi signal and it also says that it has 2x performance in fact this router has uh two uh CPUs and both of them are dual cord so generally most of the routers have a one uh CPU that might be dual core but this has two CPUs that are both of them are dual core for enhanced performance and it also has adaptive qos and also it has Cloud this is Asus Cloud production and this is AI protect this is again pretty unique uh this router has built in uh antivirus sort of functionality so whatever device uh that are connected for example smartphones uh Smart TVs Etc they will be protected and we also have what do you say apps for IOS and Android with this router and uh again here if you go it gives you an idea that AI protection is why Trend Micro and it has the white coverage and as you can see uh it says on the box that the coverage is around 465 M that's around 500 square ft that is the main reason I'm getting this even if it covers around 4,000 ft I'll be really happy again it has all the advanced features that you might expect from a advanced router like it can connect to printers it has guest uh Network enhanced media uh what do you say server like most advanced Asus Routers you can also attach hard drives to this and directly download stuff like torrent Etc all those features are present from a spec point of view it it also has a hardware natat and it has 256 MB of memory again that's pretty huge for a router so let's do the unboxing and have a look at this router now and uh it talks about the storage that you get and this is the router itself let me take this out and we'll come back to the router a bit later and it says incredible starts here let's open this and uh we have a bunch of adapters uh for the power plug we also have a ethernet cable this time it's not flat it's just a normal ethernet cable again uh more uh adapters and finally this is the power brick and guys it's a pretty big power brick for a router uh looks like uh we have this sort of power bricks for laptops so the power Breck is pretty big and again it's a pretty powerful router so it requires this power Breck and let me keep these things to the side it says incredible stocks here so let's look at this one and uh here we have the four detachable antennas that we have that are actually specifically designed for these routers so let me take these out and let me actually show you the router itself and here we have the router itself and uh again as you can see it's a massive router and here uh we have some buttons uh it's for the LED Wi-Fi and this is where the USB 3 Port is hidden as you can see it's covered by this flap and uh on the if we actually have led notification lights but they glow in this orientation so it won't be visible uh it will be only visible in this orientation I would say and moving towards the back we have actually quite a few vents here at the back and side sorry and we have uh you attach your antennas over here and here we have the USB 2 Port uh the WPS button dedicated here is the van Port your internet connection will go over here 4 GB ports and again the van Port is also gab so it'll be useful for high speed connections and this is the reset button and this is the power onof button so we also have a power off button and guys please uh bear with me with some noise some neighbors are doing some work so I just can't control that anyways the power uh brick will go over here and these are the antennas and on this end we have nothing so let me quickly connect the antennas now and I'll be back so have just connected all the antennas and it look something like this as you can see so this is how the router will look after attaching the antennas and guys yes it's a pretty big router by any stretch so what I'll do is I will
