Insurgent Review

**A Book Review Extravaganza**

As I delved into the world of Divergent's sequel, Insurgent, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The book had been highly anticipated by fans, and I was eager to see how the story would unfold.

Christina is struggling with the death of her beloved boyfriend, Will, which is no surprise given the complexity of their relationship. It's hard to see the connection between Christina and Tris, as it's vastly different from the other relationships in the series. However, this new dynamic adds a fresh layer to the story, allowing us to explore different themes and emotions.

One aspect that stood out to me was the character development in Insurgent. Caleb, Tris's brother, is given more attention in this book, and we get to see him grow and learn more about his personality. Similarly, Marcus, Four's dad, makes a welcome return, introducing us to new characters and deepening our understanding of the series. The introduction of new smarties (I think that's how you pronounce it) is particularly exciting, as they bring new energy and perspectives to the story.

As I continued reading, I found myself falling more and more in love with the world of Divergent. The book is an emotional rollercoaster, tackling themes of grief, loyalty, and identity. It's a testament to Veronica Roth's skill as a writer that she can evoke such strong emotions from her readers.

But what truly sets Insurgent apart is its impact on the story. The plot twists and turns in unexpected ways, keeping me on the edge of my seat. The relationships between characters are put to the test, revealing new depths and complexities that add richness to the narrative.

Overall, I have to say that Insurgent exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a book that will leave you breathless, cheering for the characters, and maybe even shedding a tear or two. If you're looking for a story that will consume your every waking moment, look no further than Divergent's sequel.

**A Personal Note**

As I finished reading Insurgent, I couldn't help but rush to share my excitement with my husband. I'm not sure if he shares my passion for books, but I know I had to tell him about the amazing story I'd just read. In fact, I've done it countless times before – there's something special about discovering a book that truly resonates with me, and I just can't wait to share it with others.

If you're a fellow book lover, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about. There's nothing quite like the feeling of finding a story that speaks to you on a deep level – one that makes you laugh, cry, or cheer in all the right places. For me, Insurgent is one of those books.

**Reaching 1,000 Subscribers**

I also want to take a moment to express my gratitude for reaching 1,000 subscribers on my channel. I never thought I'd be in a position where I could say that I have a community of over 1,000 people who listen to my ramblings about books. It's truly humbling and amazing.

To all of you out there, thank you for watching, listening, and engaging with me on this journey. Your support means the world to me, and I'm honored to be able to share my passion for books with all of you. Don't worry – I'll keep rambling on (just a little bit more) because it's just so much fun sharing my love of reading with all of you.

**A Special Video**

I've also been working on a special video, which is currently in the works. It's called a Q&A video, where I'll be answering questions from all of you – as long as they're not too personal or prying, that is! If you have any questions or topics you'd like me to discuss, feel free to leave them in the comments below.

Until next time, stay fabulous and keep on reading!

this in about a day two days maybe I I don't recall but I remember getting it on Tuesday and finishing it on Thursday I don't remember if I started reading it on Tuesday or Wednesday I'm not sure but anyway let's get right to it because there's so much I want to say and I'm sure you guys are ready to listen because wow okay so I just I adored it so so very much um I was very worried about it because as you guys know something about the ya book second book curse there is it's like when you have a couple they usually breakup or everything just goes to crap in the second of book well Insurgent did not it kept me focused throughout the whole thing um there's just so much before I go on any further if you have not read Divergent I would seriously not recommend you watching this and um I'm going to try to keep this as spoiler-free as possible I don't think I will drop that many bombs or do anything like that I'm going to try to keep it very spoiler-free because I enjoy reviews like that so it doesn't ruin the book but if you have not if you haven't read a virgin I would seriously recommend you stop watching this now and so far this is going to be a warning so do not hate me in the comments if I blew something up for you or La I gave you a fair warning and that is all surgent takes off directly and when I say directly I mean directly right when diverent end it and um if you haven't read diverent the ending was was somewhat of a killing spree um a lot of things happened um I'm not going to you know try to ruin it for you but let's just say a lot of bad things happen it takes off right where it ended and um throughout this whole book um pretty much Trish and V are trying to um stop a war that is probably going to be happening they're trying to just get every piece back together and you know everything like that that's pretty much the loose summary I'm going to give you because I don't want to ruin it for you but yeah so the plot the plot was amazing um you know it didn't really get boring for me at any point in the book I really was it kept me very focused the plot just it just it's it was just amazing amazingness that I just could kept consuming and consuming and consuming so the plot was amazing I thought the whole thing was just ah it just was really good it was very um what I liked about insurgent and that it wasn't it was like Divergent Divergent is a gritty book to me you know it's not a happy ya book it's very you know not scary but it just has a lot of moments that are serious and really real that make you think an Insurgent is just the same only heightened I was very like worried about what was going to happen I was just like it was like a nailbiter that's what that's the perfect word it was a nailbiter for sure guys it was just I kept was like oh crap what's going to happen is this going to happen oh no oh no oh no so the plot was just there it was just Veronica karoi were doing such an amazing job with it like you wow props to you um I feel like there was a tremendous amount of character development in the second book which I loved because I love the characters in Divergent Tris I felt she struggled the most through this book and you know it's good seeing a side of her like that because if you write Divergent which if you spoilers don't spoilers for Divergent right now so if you're still dient Ser stop um Trish in the first one I feel like was very strong she was strong willed you know she wouldn't let anything hold her down and this book we see her somewhat break because of what happened when she shot will and killed will and um you see her struggle it doesn't change it's just it's just internal internal struggle that she has to deal with and I really enjoy seeing that because she's such a strong character and she still is strong in this book don't get me wrong Trish did not like cry and weep and oh well was me no TR was still a bad day as ever but she was struggling with something so Monumental that it was just hard to deal with in in Li of all of this war crazy stuff and of course four smack dab right in the middle of that yes I do kind of I yes I do call him four um I'm not a big fan of Tobias the name that's just me you can like the name whatever that's totally cool I just like four because I think four is a really cool name and I just will continue to call them that so if you're wondering why that that's why so for is right in the smack smack daad middle of all this you know dealing with Tris and all that and I felt like he developed amazingly too it was just an amazing book and I love me some four out of all of the male characters in all the books four is definitely one of my top favorites of the guys like he is he may be the number one Contender I don't know we we shall see um but yeah he is just we see him try to doal with Tris try to deal with his dad who was very much in this book and that is very complicated you know Marcus's dad is in it and it's just and he's struggling with so many things his family it's just very hard for him and he's going through that Trish is going through her thing and it's just they all they just melt together with all these problems talk about a proat problematic relationship but so far I thought we're going to St hard in a romance since the romance was great in this book that's what that's what I love about this series is that the romance is amazing but doesn't overtake the book like I said before I wouldn't give it a 7030 you know 70 book 70% act no 50/50 I want to say it's 50% action 50% romance or maybe less there's less romance in this book I think I haven't read diverg it in a while but um there was not as much romance which I was okay with because when they did have it it was exactly what I wanted and exactly what I needed like it was just mindly beautiful like it was just heartwarming so many like verbs musing today I don't know why um but it was just there when it was there when it was there it was so perfect and beautiful and trist and four are just I love you guys hearts to you because you are like one of my top ya couples ever I just adore them but yes they were you know they struggled through this book and you know it that's how a relationship is it's not pachy keen nor is it completely like disastrous I hate your guts you know they struggled but it's just the love and the it's just beautiful I'm not going to tell you too much because I don't want to ruin it of course but let me just reassure you guys that the romance is there and it's beautiful and wonderful and so nice Okay anyway back to character development we talked about TR 4 we're going to talk about some other characters that were there Christina is in this book she's not quite into this book as much and of course Christina is struggling with with you know the death of her beloved boyfriend will and who wouldn't do that because it's very complicated you know and and it's just hard to see the relationship with her and tris go on and it's just very very different you know um or from that we see Caleb a lot in this book which is Trisha's brother and we get to see and develop who Caleb is and learn about him and same as for um Marcus which is um for's Dad we get to learn from him and we are introduced once more into a sloo of new characters we meet tons of I want to hope I'm pronouncing this right idite people which are the smarties um we we meet a whole bunch of them and it's just wonderful I love all the new characters I love the same characters they're just the character development is amazing in this book U overall I think I've talked about most of it that I need to talk about um I'm going to give this book a five out of five oh wait I'm going to give it a 10 out of 10 oh wait I'm want to give it a 100 out of 100 you know it's the best book I've ever read this year so far um you know and that does not surprise me because Divergent was my book of the Year for 2011 and you know it is very very early in 2012 and I'm saying Insurgent will probably be my favorite and um I'm going to stick with that I just I don't know I just I don't it's just how it is um whenever I read a really amazing book I always rush to my husband and just I'm just like oh my gosh it's such a good book and he's like oh that's so cool I really don't care you know he cares but he's not like well what was it about you know and I just want to talk it talk talk talk talk talk talk about it I'm sure everyone has that as well with books they absolutely adore and this was nonetheless it was just amazing and you know and diver Divergent and Insurgent are just my like holy grail of books like I just adore them like I just can't get enough of them so anyway in conclusion if you're looking
