Moto Turbo Unboxing & Hands on Overview in 4K

**Moto Turbo Unboxing and First Impressions**

The Moto Turbo, a device powered by Android Lollipop 5.0.2, was unboxed by the reviewer with great enthusiasm. The phone comes pre-installed with lollipop, making it a great starting point for users who want to experience the latest version of the operating system. One of the standout features of this device is its Wi-Fi connectivity, which supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensuring stable internet connections.

As the reviewer set up the phone's Wi-Fi network, they noted that it comes with 64 GB of internal storage, although there was no microSD card slot available for expansion. The setup process was straightforward, with the reviewer quickly navigating through the screens to complete the initial setup. The device boots up smoothly and runs on a quad-core processor clocked at 2.7 GHz, accompanied by 3 GB of RAM.

The Moto Turbo's camera is another feature worth mentioning, boasting a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. In the reviewer's hands-on experience with the camera app, they discovered that it comes with various features such as tap-to-take functionality, pinch-to-zoom, and manual exposure control. The resulting images looked "pretty decent," but the reviewer emphasized that their test was limited due to the device's connection issues.

Throughout the unboxing process, the reviewer highlighted some of the phone's key features, including its powerful specs, responsive performance, and intuitive interface. As a Motorola device, the Moto Turbo inherited some unique features such as Always Listening, which can be set up to respond to voice commands without requiring physical interaction with the device.

One of the drawbacks mentioned by the reviewer was the battery life, which is not user-replaceable. However, they noted that 50 GB of available storage space should suffice for most users' needs. The reviewer also praised the phone's keyboard and settings apps, noting that they felt "pretty responsive" and closely aligned with stock Android Lollipop.

To further test the Moto Turbo's capabilities, the reviewer fired up the web browser and attempted to access a website (TechMimi) via Google account, which was still pending setup at this point. The phone performed well in terms of responsiveness, but its internet connection seemed a bit spotty, likely due to ongoing issues with the device.

The reviewer concluded their unboxing experience by highlighting some of the device's notable features and quirks. They noted that the Moto Turbo's screen quality was decent but not entirely white, an issue they planned to investigate further in their full review. Overall, the reviewer seemed impressed with the phone's performance and specs, although they had reservations about its battery life.

or not yes it has lollipop pre-installed so that's great let me quickly just set this up and as you can see this is the wi-fi and the good thing is that it supports both the five gigahertz as well as 2.4 gigahertz band i'll quickly set up my wi-fi network and then we'll continue and i would say in regarding internal storage also it comes with 64 gigs of internal storage so that's great but we don't have any micro sd card slot and i'll just skip my google account i'll set that up later on but you can do it right away if you want but we quickly just skip through these setup screens and we can migrate i'll do that later and we are already set uh so this is the first uh boot of this device and it runs android lollipop and regarding specs it also packs some very impressive specs uh it's powered by the snapdragon 805 chipset which is a quad core processor clocked at 2.7 gigahertz it has three gigs of ram and 21 megapixel rear facing camera 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 3 hour also look at the storage internal storage that we get and uh let me access it yes and as you can see out of that 64 gigabytes we have 50 gigabytes available to us but again do note that we don't have any micro sd card slot on this device but i feel 50 gigs is ample storage space so let me just go back now and again guys i'm shooting this at 4k so if you have a 4k capable monitor do let me know what do you think about it and again it feels very responsive again it looks like stock experience apart from some motorola specific apps uh like motorola kinect this is the moto app again like the the web browser and we'll add our account later on and let's try to go to this tech mimi again this is the stock keyboard that we get with android lollipop it's the same again it's very close to stock android lollipop i would say and again as you can see pretty responsive let's move to the desktop variant and again my internet connection guys is acting crazy from the last couple of days so don't judge the phone because of that i'll add a sim card later on but again as you can see the pinch to zoom is very responsive again it's a very powerful device and the screen quality is also pretty decent but i would say the whites are not exactly white i'll play around with that a bit later and i'll test that in my full review how it actually behaves in direct sunlight etc but as of now i would say very responsive and this is the multitasking tray so you can easily switch between the apps and we also have okay google again i think so i need to set up my google account for that uh yeah i need to do that uh so let's actually look at the camera the camera is supposed to be a 21 megapixel shooter so let's look at that and let's fire up the camera app and it says tap anyway to take a photo and drag up or down to zoom and you can also have we also have the twist functionality to open the camera so i can just swipe here for settings and by default we can just tap and it takes the picture but we can also use this to control the focus and exposure i generally like to do that so i can just play around with this as you can see i can adjust the exposure and again tap in and it takes the picture let's look at these pictures they look pretty decent i would say but again the i have ample light over here i will be testing the camera a lot more uh in my full review so stay tuned for that
