need a more powerful motherboard to prepare for the great forthcoming event i'm told msi produced the meg x570 which they dub god like that they do that seems appropriate required by january 19th uh yes the expiration is almost upon what what is this what are they talking about uh we must be prepared together so is that all you want me to do is just upgrade your motherboard okey dokey that's gonna be this top one right here we'll bring it over to station one and what we'll do on our order screen i'll hop on over to the shop and let's see motherboards i'm looking for msi x570 pro carbon nope not that one x570 godlike there it is seven hundred dollars we're going to add this to cart but we're not gonna buy it yet because we might need to buy other things as well now i might as well get started on this next ticket here this is from ira again my computer was starting to get hot while running and now it won't turn on at all no this is not a good sign have you got any idea what's happening here if you manage to get it going maybe run clean it we pay for the pro license so we might as well use it while we can uh notes contacted a psychic yesterday who said she was is this relevant like what i thought it was bad enough blah blah blah yeah ira has a way of just like going off on random tangents so the only other thing we need to remember here is to run the clean it software so that's gonna be this system right here we'll bring this over to station number two i suppose we can go ahead and start working on this one just because we don't actually know what is wrong with it we need to figure out if we need to order anything let's just try hooking this up to power and we'll just we'll just see what happens i i don't know okay so it powers up there interesting no cp no cpu found okay so you've probably got a dead cpu that that's no good let's uh see oh my gosh we need to remove this air cooler and the cpu you have in here is a ryzen 7 3 x so let's lift this socket lever we'll pull the chip out and we'll order a replacement we won't click buy just yet because again we have the other thing in the cart and we're not sure if we're gonna need anything for this third system which is from ken and this one apparently caught fire let's see if fire seems to have damaged my cpu fan oh you okay so it only damaged your i don't know if that's the only thing in damage we'll see as an unfortunate side effect everything is covered in a fine layer of ash this is an emergency while sat at my desk studying labels they usually do i was shocked to see smoke great white clouds blah blah blah seems safe now i am most perturbed so that's not a pretty that's not a pretty steep margin there we'll just stick to like a cheaper air cooler maybe just replace the one that they have in it uh with the same model we won't give them an upgrade so let's go ahead and see what it looks like again apparently this thing is in rough shape we'll definitely need to clean it as well set it down and we'll take the side panel off i mean i mean yeah it's pretty disgusting but uh it certainly doesn't look like it went through any fire so that's a good sign the first thing we'll do here is hit it with some compressed air just get rid of all this goo this looks good now we just need to replace the air cooler which is this thing here from be quiet pure that's shadow rock slim almost pure rock slim there it is 25 bucks all right add to cart now i've got three things here remember if you buy everything at once you only have to pay one time for shipping which is nice uh why is our okay total balance well that makes sense 700 motherboard we'll just do next day delivery for 30 bucks by now and let's check one more time make sure we have anything else going on i think we're good to go i'm not sure what this extra box is here though no one told me what this was let's see uh pc building simulator the board game all right let's place these items so this is your very own pc building simulator board game check that out and already we should have our deliveries here nice all three of those and we have this other system it's asking for an upgrade we'll take care of that in a second we need to clear out these three workstations so wait what am i doing uh the shop what do i have in the shop i have my parts right yes i do have my parts so first off let's replace the broken cpu in this one uh we'll need to install cpu it's this one all right and we'll just slaughter in right there we'll lower the retention arm now i don't want to forget thermal paste don't don't forget that this time that was awful before and then we can install the cooler again which is this little alpine here all righty i need to like twist it or something or how do i okay yeah just stay like that cool cool okay i think we're ready to power this thing on is it gonna work let's see looking good so far yes yes look at that not bad not too shabby folks now that's weird because it says i still need to diagnose and fix but i'm pretty sure i fixed it so what's going on uh maybe i just need to put the side panels back on and stuff i don't really know what am i not doing oh crap i really wanted to get this done quickly for ira but uh i'm running into some problems and he did say he wanted to run clean it so maybe maybe that's what i need to do if this doesn't do the trick i don't know what will to be honest with you i have no clue no it still says diagnose and fix what's going on yeah i mean it's all showing up one terabyte there one terabyte two 16 gig dimms an rx 560 the motherboard and the cpu they're all detected so what's going on temperatures look fine i'm really confused by this while that's going on let's see oh aha i see it now i can't believe i missed this that is a dead fan right there you guys see that that van is broken and that's why it still says i need to diagnose and fix it it wasn't a bug it was just my incompetence my lack of attention to detail so we'll get that fixed now the fan you had in there was a more tony heat away 120 fan uh so let's just replace it with exactly what he has in there just so that we're on the safe side and we'll go and try to finish the other two builds so this one's going to stay this one we needed the replacement cpu cooler which we do have now so we're going to install the pure rock slim and now that it's in there we can try firing it up making sure everything works yes all right dude nice elephant all right i dig it so with that i think this system is good to go yep let's double check one more time with ken to make sure that uh not forgetting anything because he might have asked for something special and i don't want to make mistakes this time around and we can bring this one back to the delivery area now this is the one that we just received today and i just want to see what this guy needs because that will depend on uh yeah that will determine what i need to order so pull up the tablet someone else took my pc while i was oh geez up at ira tech northwest rude and now i'm stuck with this piece of trash everything's loading slowly and the internet is all buggy apparently you should try optimizing whatever that is with a tool called bite back okay and then you want b link to run as well also someone installed heart of stone on here isn't that a video game i don't need that uh but i'm just skimming just skimming am i missing anything nope don't think so okay everything else looks good i actually don't need to order anything here just need to run two uh programs again my goal here by doing all this in this part is to get this smiley face actually smiling because he's been just neutral this entire time it's really driving me nuts but anyway all right with these two programs finished go ahead and remove them now i don't think we need them anymore i'll take my usb drive back we'll power the system off and i think we are good to go so we'll place this in the delivery area i'll go ahead and order that fan we needed to have replaced because we don't need any other parts for today now if you recall with this build here we needed to upgrade the motherboard so we're going to take out quite a bit in this one so we'll remove the side panel we will remove let's see we'll disconnect this we'll remove the graphics card we will also remove the air cooler and uh heck we should also remove the cpu and the memory so let's see touch the clip and the clip and take that out okay and oh my gosh there's just a ton of stuff to wire up here remove all this and now i think we can pull the board out all right there it goes now we're going to install let's see where's the new motherboard yes the godlike board okay so that is in here and then okay so we need to remember the stuff that we initially forgot so cpu is gonna be yeah six core 2600 so that's going in here lower that back down we can install the graphics card which is yeah this one here the 1060. all righty that's wired up you can also add thermal paste don't want to forget that again and then we'll install the cooler which is the arctic freezer 12. so slide on in there and then we have memory which is i think the last thing i love that it says property up it keeps lets me keep track of what i have here because i have a few different uh dims that i've just kind of had sitting around we'll install that into this first slot technically i think with this board it's supposed to go in slot two but it was in slot one so i'm just gonna just gonna put it there i don't know that might be a sin but you know i'm not sure how sensitive the game is uh so with that i think we are ready to fire it up i'll press p and let's make sure the system runs so now press p and we're gonna bring this thing over so another one bites the dust that's three systems we've taken care of today we just have the one where i had to order that replacement fan but these other three should be good to go and i'm really hoping that we didn't forget anything let's go ahead and just try i'll just i'll just check let's see collect yes all right oh look at that our dude's slightly smiling oh my gosh i can't believe we finally did it it just took one more job and all right ken is super happy with this one made 75 profit and that's just by replacing a 25 air cooler there so uh awesome all right can we keep it going with l i'm not sure yeah all right she says all as it should be praise be to warren i still have no clue what that means we made 300 dollars replacing that motherboard that was a super easy need that as well okay so typo upgrade for the computer and needs ram replaced i'm not sure if those two are mutually exclusive or not i don't know if that counts as an upgrade probably not but all so let's remove the air cooler and what do we have in here it's just a single g skill rip jaws 5 dim so we'll pull this out now i actually might have a replacement module what i'm going to do yeah because this here is a 16 gig 3 400 megahertz i'm gonna go ahead and just power this up with another dim just to see if there's anything else wrong with this build before i go to the shop and order what we need so we'll click p let's just see if we can get into the operating system now okay everything looks to be good here i do want to check again that uh we don't have anything else to tackle it's really weird he makes it seem like there's two separate things wrong here but maybe he just isn't aware uh so we got that ram to replace and then he also wants typo installed i'm pretty sure that's it so we'll go and get typo installed just so we don't forget i need to connect my thumb drive why am i always forgetting that and in our shop because we just have so much money here we're going to be nice to this guy uh we had what was it i need to check to see what part we had before uh it was a broken 16 gigabyte module from g skill 3 400 megahertz okay so 3 400 megahertz uh g skill rip jaws five uh thirty four hundred there it is okay so well golly two hundred and twenty two dollars for the single sixteen gig stick uh we're gonna add two of those just because i'm a nice guy i want him to be impressed and we're gonna hold off on buying because we have two or three other systems to look at here so let's open the email and then we have emily all right emily what happened you lost your files uh oh gg i need you to run disk optimizer and then clean up some files it's getting impossible to find anything might be good for you to add uh another stick of whatever ram is in there oh my gosh okay another ram upgrade i wish you could double my memory too well that's oh i got you that was a that was a funny joke emily very funny joke hey i need help i've been working on some concept art for a new project but today i literally can't find any of my files it's pretty redundant okay so we need to run clean it pro and bite back and we need to upgrade her memory so let's go to that system all right here 4 500 megahertz that's it right there so we're going to add cheese this is the high frequency it's 252 for this stick that is that is expensive look at that the 4 000 megahertz is only 140 but because you have 4500 megahertz you need the yeah spend twice as much money anyway i'm done complaining we'll add another stick there and we will again hold off on buying we we'll order a four gig patriot that didn't work oh that was graphics card that's fine here we go patriot viper steel series uh it was a 4 gig 3200 megahertz i'm pretty sure this is the one so i will have to come back here tomorrow and oh my gosh more things showed up uh must another fire what's wrong with this dude's pc keeps catching fire riggs riggs pc collection that sounds very interesting so we're gonna go to work today definitely we cannot skip out on this stuff you can now sell pcs to riggs rigs but any pc you want to sell on the shelves of the storage room next to the kitchen oh cool okay so that's like a side job alrighty there we've got our components and let's go ahead and take care of these upgrades so this one first off let's see memory where is it uh oh i forgot which ah crap i forgot which system had what in it dang it okay so i got super lucky since i'm recording all this for this video i just went back and looked at the footage and i realized that the the first build has ripped off five in it so let's take care of that one first so it's gonna be this one here and then we're gonna install let's see memory that was rip jaws five so this one had the broken module in it and again we'll be a nice guy we'll add another one into the second slot pull back on these tabs and uh there you go double the memory super fast this should be ready to go and i think we already installed typo on this one yes we did so we can go ahead and power this system off i will take back my thumb drive before i forget click uh oh dang i keep getting side panel it's gonna be here and alrighty take you to the delivery area now this one i believe had the trident z memory in it i'm not mistaken it's going to be pretty catastrophic if not but i think this person need to double the memory um if i'm not mistaken so let's do that we'll add one of these i think this thing is locked and loaded nothing else we need to do here so we'll go ahead and power it off uh do i keep i keep forgetting about the side panels of course pc parts it's going back on and uh now we can bring this also to the delivery area now before we start working on the other systems for today i want to go ahead and turn these in i'm not entirely sure this is weird this one's not even okay i'm actually not even finished with this one yet did i forget something maybe i did i guess let's see what am i forgetting missing parts uh oh yeah yeah uh i forgot the cpu cooler oh that's kind of important um good thing that one was called out beforehand whoo that would have been so bad already install that now we can power this thing on and ensure that it works that would have been so bad yo why is my computer shutting down every five seconds well that would be why also pardon the really annoying startup sounds just something that's inescapable here in this game alright so install the left side panel and bring it back to the delivery area okay now we can try hashing these both in let's see uh i i really hope we did this one right oh our budget is stretching up maybe pay more what it doesn't even say what i did wrong this pc isn't fit for purpose how is it not fit for purpose bro i basically stopped being too nice to these people because my profit was only 16 bucks dude i have over five grand i'm not i'm not worried about saying i'd rather just make you happy because at the end wallpaper and these other programs verified to be fully operational with the given specs at hand so now we can power the system off we'll install the left side panel and i'm pretty sure this one is good to go so go ahead and yeah just we'll just go home and we can check on our progress here let's see how he liked it uh collect hey look at that five smileys that is good stuff hey just want to say thanks for doing this for me so not sure how i'm going to get all this work done in time but you helped would you look at that we made 240 in profit again going back to why i got the the the angry face on one of the other ones like yeah i may have only made 16 bucks on that one but i'm making mega profits on all these other projects so like it's not that big a deal to comp one task dude come on but now we have these other three and apparently one of them caught fire again yeah pcs be catching fire i don't know so let's see here ken oh my gosh after the smoke subsided two of my case fans were non-functional i tried to coax them back to life cokes coax cokes them i don't know why i read it like that coax them back to life but to no avail kindly replace them uh and once again a fire has left my computer filled with ashes okay so you just need fans to be replaced and the system to be cleaned up that looks to be it no problem that looks so much better okay so the fans that are no longer working uh oh um oh okay he doesn't have any in here oh he took them out i gotcha okay he took the fans out so we need to install two case fans it doesn't say what kind of fans i don't recall what fans he previously had in here so i'll give him some nice ones so we'll go over here to the shop and let's see we'll find some like find some black ones that match these arctic p14s look pretty good power it off anyway and it's going to be turned back on and that counts as a restart but the game doesn't know that i think that's a little that kind of sucks you know but uh other than those two thing in the cart and we're not sure if we're gonna need anything for this third system which is from ken and this one apparently caught fire let's see if fire seems to have damaged my cpu fan oh you okay so it only damaged your i don't know if that's the only thing in damage we'll see as an unfortunate side effect everything is covered in a fine layer of ash this is an emergency while sat at my desk studying labels they usually do i was shocked to see smoke great white clouds blah blah blah seems safe now i am most perturbed so that's not a pretty that's not a pretty steep margin there we'll just stick to like a cheaper air cooler maybe just replace the one that they have in it uh with the same model we won't give them an upgrade so let's go ahead and see what it looks like again apparently this thing is in rough shape we'll definitely need to clean it as well set it down and we'll take the side panel off i mean i mean yeah it's pretty disgusting but uh it certainly doesn't exactly what he has in there just so that we're on the safe side and we'll go and try to finish the other two builds so this one's going to stay this one we needed the replacement cpu cooler which we do have now so we're going to install the pure rock slim and now that it's in there we can try firing it up making sure everything works yes all right dude nice elephant all right i dig it so with that i think this system is good to go yep let's double check one more time with ken to make sure that uh not forgetting anything because he might have asked for something special and i don't want to make mistakes this time around and we can bring this one back to the delivery area now this is the one that we just received today and i just want to see what this guy needs because that will depend we'll remove the graphics card we will also remove the air cooler and uh heck we should also remove the cpu and the memory so let's see touch the clip and the clip and take that out okay and oh my gosh there's just a ton of stuff to wire up here remove all this and now i think we can pull the board out all right there it goes now we're going to install let's see where's the new motherboard yes the godlike board okay so that is in here and then okay so we need to remember the stuff that we initially forgot so cpu is gonna be yeah six core 2600 so that's going in here lower that back down we can install the graphics card which is yeah this one here the 1060. all righty that's wired up you can also add thermal paste don't want to forget that again and then we'll install the cooler which is the arctic freezer 12. so slide on in there and then we have memory which is i think the last thing i love that it says property up it keeps lets me keep track of what i have here because i have a few different uh dims that i've just kind of had sitting around we'll install that into this first slot technically i think with this board it's supposed to go in slot two but it was in slot one so i'm just gonna just gonna put it there i don't know that might be a sin but you know i'm not sure how sensitive the game is uh so with that i think we are ready to fire it up i'll press p and let's make sure the system runs so now press p and we're gonna bring this thing over so another one bites the dust that's three systems we've taken care of today we just have the one where i had to order that take our thumb drive back we will install the left side panel and power the system off bring it back to the delivery area let's see what he says i'm pretty sure he's going to be happy you didn't install document yes i did ah do you have to freaking restart the pc i mean you're effectively doing that by turning the system he's gonna have to turn it back on so that's a restart that's a power cycle that's so dumb i did that that should have been five freaking smiley faces but we only got four over a technicality what the heck now the two case fans were here for ken so we'll go ahead and get these installed we've got two shadow wings two fans here for him we'll put one here at the rear so he's got a nice exhaust if you have to move the front panel then i can install the fan i'm not sure if that's how it works yes it is okay cool so we'll get you installed there and then we can put the front panel back on okie dokie side panel on don't think the system needs anything else just make sure that she boots and she should and would you look at that our good old elephant friend so uh that is good news system can be let's see i'm gonna triple check here real quick to make sure doesn't need anything else uh replace the fans and i think that is it okay all right so power off delivery area let's see if this one goes any better yes all right five stars that's good stuff many thanks for your swift action can i have your assurance that this won't happen again dude i don't know what's causing your system to catch fire i i'm not the person to ask about that so this was a pretty good session we made that one mistake if you want to call it that i i happen to think that what i did was just a good service for someone but apparently the company doesn't like that and that's ultimately who i'm trying to keep happy here because they're paying my bills so yeah um i didn't think that was a mistake going into it and in all fairness if i had known that's how picky the game would have been i wouldn't have done that i would have just played it by the books but i tried to go above and beyond and that stabbed me in the back then the other weird technicality over installing document but not restarting the system because i had to power it off anyway and it's going to be turned back on and that counts as a restart but the game doesn't know that i think that's a little that kind of sucks you know but uh other than those two issues everything else we took care of so far in this episode uh went really well we got five smileys across the board and that's always a plus and we got this uh little smiley up here actually turned into a smiley it's no longer a regular old like plain neutral face that was annoying me so much if you guys enjoyed watching this one play out be
