DOLLAR TREE DIY _ Fall Tiered Tray

The Joy of Fall and DIY Decor

There's something about New York in the fall that makes me want to buy school supplies, but I just can't help myself from loving the season even more. As for my favorite season, it's definitely fall. There's just something about it that speaks to my soul, and I find myself getting excited every time the leaves start changing colors.

Today, I'm sharing a DIY project that I've always wanted to try out, especially for a decor piece for a kitchen island. Although this piece would look beautiful anywhere, I decided to make it specifically for a kitchen island. This DIY is all about using materials from the Dollar Tree, which is my go-to store for affordable and creative decor pieces.

I started by gathering scraps and pieces from the Dollar Tree and arranging them between the two tiers of the tray. I even used a Dollar Tree DIY that I made last year, which was a fall leaf mason jar. I put it in the bottom tier, and I'll link that video down below for those who are interested in seeing how to make it themselves. For this project, I also used some new squirrel salt and pepper shakers from Dollar Tree's line this year, as well as random pumpkins from the same store.

One of my favorite elements of this DIY is the fall leaves LED lights that I added on top. They require two double-A batteries, which was a bit surprising for me since I'm not used to working with batteries. However, they add a beautiful touch to the overall design and really make it pop. I also got the batteries from Dollar Tree, which just goes to show how versatile their products can be.

As I worked on this DIY, I realized that my channel isn't even about Dollar Tree. I just couldn't help myself from using their decor pieces and materials to make my own home decor. I think it's because I love the idea of taking something ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary. And that's exactly what happened with this project.

I want to emphasize that there's no right or wrong when it comes to decorating. Everyone has their own unique taste level, and that's what makes decorating so fun. This is simply my personal style, and I love the full look that I achieved with this DIY. To incorporate a more rustic farmhouse feel, you could add elements like roosters and mason jars with plaid bows, paired with moss from Dollar Tree. It would be a stunning kitchen centerpiece.

However, for me, it's all about using materials I already have on hand to create something new. That's why I chose to use the materials I had in my collection to make this DIY. And I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I love that I could recycle decor that I've had on hand and still create something beautiful.

As I finish up this article, I want to wish everyone a lovely fall season. May your days be filled with warmth, coziness, and all the things that make you happy. And don't forget to check out my next video for another DIY project that's sure to inspire you.
