**Jailbreaking iOS 6 to Install Siri**
I've been using this jailbreak tool for the past few hours, and it's worked just fine. Installing it is very easy, and it's a quick demo to show you guys that it does work on my iPhone 4. Siri what do you look like, and as you can see, it does work now. Dictation also works just fine on all devices, so if you don't want to use your fingers to type, you can use this little button down here, and it'll dictate for you. It's very easy, and installing this is actually a very easy process.
The only requirement is that you guys must be jailbroken on your iPhone for 3GS or iPod Touch 4th generation. If you have not yet jailbroken, do not have the Studio icon, you want to click on this annotation in the video right there, it'll take you to my latest iOS 6 jailbreak video. Otherwise, everybody that is jailbroken, go ahead and open up Cydia in Cydia, head over to manage tab, go to sources, you want to select edit add, and you're gonna add the following source, it'll look just like this: repo(dot) c--report(ru). And as you know, this developer has seen reports available for iOS 5.1, but this is actually the first fully working iOS 6 Siri port.
Go ahead and add the source, should take a couple of minutes, and I'll be right back once that's done loading. You're gonna hit return to Cydia, and then you're gonna enter the C repo repo scroll down, and you're gonna wanna install Siri port original for iOS 6, click on it select install confirm once it is done, it will ask you to respring, you're gonna click that button, and then at the end, you're gonna go back to settings now. In general, you will notice that you do not have a Siri tab but you don't want to mess around with that just yet, scroll down, and go to Siri port Roo, and you're gonna select Install certificate, and you're gonna get this page, you're gonna select Install certificate, select ok it will open up in a new window.
Here since I already have this installed, I'm not going to do it but you guys want to go ahead and select install. Our last step is to reboot our device however we are running a tethered jailbreak that means we have to head over to the and use red snow to reboot our device. Now on your computer with red snow open and your device plugged in, we're gonna go ahead and head over to extras, and this is version 0.9 point three and four, I will include a link down below in the description in case you do not have it.
We're gonna go ahead and select just boot tethered right now, and power off your device so on red snow you're gonna hit the next key, and then immediately hold the power four three two one together with a home button for ten nine eight seven six five four three two one let go of the power button, and continue holding the home button, and you're gonna keep holding it until you see the red snow starts booting up your device. Then you can let go this is basically what your iDevice looks like when you tether boot it using redstone.
You get this little pineapple, and anyways it'll get up in just a second now that your device has finished rebooting we're gonna go ahead and slide to unlock that over to settings go to general Siri and go ahead and select on and now there is a glitch where if you exit and go right back in it's off but it's okay. Siri is on, let's go ahead and test it out. I did want to mention that Siri will not start working off the valve for everyone, for me it took about three minutes of asking her questions before she responded, so I would keep asking her questions until she does respond.
Usually takes about 5-10 minutes if that doesn't work then just come back and try it at a different time. Siri what do you look like alright Siri what time of day is it in China Siri what is the weather in California, and as you guys can see it is working just fine on my iPhone 4 I have Sus today on my iPod Touch 4th generation on iOS 6, and it works great as well there are times when the server is down, just come back and try at another time if it's not working.
Don't forget guys this is a beta so this is at your own risk, I mean I don't expect it to break your devices however just be careful this is a beta version anyways. I do hope you guys enjoyed this series, hope I did, hope you guys install it on iOS 6 on your jailbroken device please like and favorite this video, it does help me tremendously if you guys have any questions or comments leave them down below.
