The Nokia Lumia 920 was put through several rigorous tests to see how well it would withstand daily wear and tear. First, let's take a look at the damage on the front side of the phone. As you can see, the touchscreen is still working perfectly fine, which is definitely good news. Pretty much everything on the front looks like it did before because it landed mostly on the back.
Let's take a closer look at the back side and we can see that there are some scuff marks right here along the top. It's not sure if those are coming through on camera. There's also a little bit of damage over here where the phone took the majority of the impact, which was right over here. You can see that it definitely started shipping away a little bit at the phone itself, but other than that, everything looks pretty darn good.
Next up, we'll put the Nokia Lumia 920 through its mid-height drop test. Instead of having someone actually do the drop, our trusty sidekick will come in and try to drop the phone. We're hoping that he won't actually drop it too soon, but we know he's definitely going to try! Let's bring him in and see how long it takes for him to finally decide to drop the phone.
Our little buddy seems like a great sport, but unfortunately, he really doesn't want to drop his new friend. He keeps saying "we don't eat it" and "I don't want to drop it." We're going to have to wait until he actually drops the phone for us to see any damage. Let's just hope that someone else comes along soon!
Finally, we managed to get our little buddy to drop the phone, but what a test it was! The person who came up with this idea really must be a saint. We're glad that we finally got to see the damage, and it looks like the screen is still working perfectly fine. In fact, the whole front plate of the phone looks like it was undamaged at all. Let's take a closer look at the back and see if anything has changed.
As you can see, the back of the phone still looks pretty much perfect, except for a little scuff mark right here on top. There is also some damage over in the bottom left corner that we've seen before, but this time around, there's also some damage along the bottom right side. We're impressed with how well the Nokia Lumia 920 has held up so far.
Next up, we'll put the phone through its final test: the nearly head-height drop test. We're not sure what will happen here, but we're going to find out! Let's get someone on a phone call and then... whoops! Now that sounded pretty bad. Let's go ahead and check out the damage.
The results are in, and it looks like the Nokia Lumia 920 has done really, really well. The touchscreen is still working perfectly fine on the front. Let's take a look at the edges – everything seems to be in good shape. On the back, we can see that there's only one little scuff mark right here where it landed from our last drop test, but it doesn't seem to have done any major damage.
One area of concern is along the left edge, which took some damage during our third drop test. There are some light scuff marks and scratches visible, but overall, the phone still looks pretty good. We're glad that the white version wouldn't show up as badly in this situation – it's a nice touch to consider the color of the phone when it comes to assessing damage.
In conclusion, we're really impressed with how well the Nokia Lumia 920 has held up against our various tests. It may not be perfect, but it's definitely survived some rough handling. is we're be doing a traditional drop test meaning we're gonna drop it from the hip we're gonna drop it from the chest height and then of course we're gonna drop it from the head height to see you know if it's gonna be able to survive all those drops so with that said let's go ahead and start with the first sets which is gonna be the hip test alright so i'm gonna put this thing in my pocket and basically pretend as if i'm pulling it out my pocket and i'm gonna drop it on accident so let's go ahead and start so one two three all right so let's take a look at the damage you can see that the touchscreen is still working so that's definitely good um pretty much everything on the front looks like it did before because it landed mostly on the back so let's take a look at the back side and a little bit of scuff marks right here along the top not sure if that's coming through on camera and then on the bottom left is where it took the majority of the damage which was right over here you can see it definitely started shipping away a little bit at the phone itself but other than that everything looks pretty darn good so let's go ahead and take it to the mid height test all right so the nokia lumia 920 survived the hip drop test let's go ahead and take it to the next level which is going to be the mid height drop test but instead of me actually doing the drop test i'm gonna have my little nephew come and drop because honestly i don't really drop my phones all that often but he definitely does so let's go ahead and bring him in all right here he is and this guy is definitely going to drop this phone and i'm sure a lot of you guys could relate to this so we're going to hand them the phone and see how long it takes for them to actually drop it and then see the damage on it all right so let's go ahead and hand over the nokia lumia 920 to a baby and let them do their magic so see how long it takes him to actually drop this thing are you gonna drop it no we don't eat it we drop it do you like that phone that much you don't want to drop it all right so we'll just go ahead and skip until he actually drops it because it might be a while it seems like he likes the phone and there you go we finally got them dropped that was really hard to actually shoot because we have no idea when this guy decides to drop it but let's go ahead and take a look at the damage so and it seems like the voices is actually all right so let's go ahead and take a look at the damage looks like the screen is still working perfectly fine in fact the whole front plate looks like it was undamaged at all let's look at the back and the tops pretty much the same i mean a little light scuff right there the top right that wasn't there before on the top left is from the previous drop test of course in the bottom left we have the damage but this time we do have some damage along the bottom right side so a little bit more of the same this one actually fared a little better than the initial drop test which is quite surprising probably the angle that it fell on but pretty good let's go ahead and take it to the next level which is going to be the pretty much head height drop test all right so the nokia lumia 920 has done really really good so far let's go ahead and put it through its final test which is up here from the head i don't know how it's going to do let's go ahead and find out so say you're on a phone call and all of a sudden whoops whoops whoops now that sounded pretty bad so let's go ahead and check out the damage all right so let's check out the results so you can see the touchscreen is still working on the front we'll look at the edges so top left and top right look fine bottom left and bottom right look fine as well so the front plate in general didn't take any damage from these drop tests that we did let's look at the back and you can see pretty much nothing we have the little light scuff marks here at the top that you can barely even see on the bottom of course the original drop test we did right here second drop test right here and along the left edge is where the third drop test did a damage i mean it made a really loud sound but it seems to be pretty good i mean yeah some light scuff marks and considering this the white one actually shows up so if you were to get the black lumia 920 i imagine that it wouldn't show up as bad but that's pretty much you know the damage of the third drop test and really impressive all right so that's the drop test for the nokia lumia 920 honestly really really impressed with the results i mean the phone looks pretty much on damage some scratches obviously but it's still in working condition if you found the video helpful you know if you liked it or if you think he did a good job please give it
