The Upcoming iPhone SE3: A Disappointing Update?
As we approach the expected Apple event this year, one product that is generating significant buzz is the upcoming iPhone SE3. As Andrew, from Apple Insider, explains, "I expect Apple's going to be having a March event this year and of all the new products one of them I expect to be an updated iPhone SE." The iPhone SE, since its second-generation launch in April 2020, has been a popular choice among budget-conscious consumers. However, according to Andrew, this year's iPhone SE3 is going to be a bit of a bummer.
So, what exactly can we expect from the new iPhone SE3? Rumors suggest that the phone will feature two upgrades: an internal processor upgrade from an A13 Bionic processor to the latest A15 Bionic processor. While this may sound exciting, Andrew notes that "speed boost is great no qualms there" - implying that the actual impact of this upgrade on performance and user experience may be minimal. The second rumored change is support for 5G connectivity. This is indeed a welcome addition, as it will bring faster data speeds and improved overall performance to budget-conscious consumers.
However, despite these upgrades, Andrew expresses disappointment with the overall design of the new iPhone SE3. According to him, "the third generation iPhone SE is still going to look like this - it's going to look like an iPhone 8" - which means that the phone will retain its current design and lack any major updates or features. This is particularly disappointing, as some had hoped for a redesign or even a plus-size version of the phone with a larger screen.
One of the most significant drawbacks of the new iPhone SE3, according to Andrew, is that it will not support MagSafe technology - which means that users will still be limited to regular wireless charging. This lack of innovation in design and functionality may leave some consumers feeling underwhelmed by the new phone. However, Andrew notes that "I don't think Apple really needs to do more" - as adding 5G and the latest processor will ensure that the current generation iPhone SE will last for a long time.
In addition to the lack of significant design updates, Andrew also mentions that we should expect some redesigns or updates in the future. According to him, "apple is expected to launch a more of a redesign with the iPhone SE in 2023 maybe 2024" - which may include a plus-size version or even a major overhaul of the phone's design. While these rumors are speculative at this point, they do suggest that Apple has plans for future updates and improvements to its budget-friendly handsets.

going to be a bit of a bummer here's why i think the iphone se 3 is going to be so underwhelming so this is the iphone se that's available right now the second generation iphone se it launched in april of 2020 and came with an a13 bionic processor a 12 megapixel rear facing camera a 7 megapixel front-facing camera and of course touch id it was basically an iphone 8 but repackaged as the iphone se best feature of all it came with a price point of only 399 full price and we've seen it go much lower now it's been two years since we got our hands on the second generation iphone se apple's ready to update the phone again but this year the rumors all point to a very underwhelming update for apple's most affordable smartphone the new iphone se is rumored to contain two upgrades that internal processor is going from an a13 bionic processor to the most recent a15 bionic processor speed boost is great no qualms there the second change here is going to be support for 5g also grey very happy same touch id the new ones won't even have support for magsafe they'll still just support regular wireless charging for some this may be very disappointing that apple is still refusing to update the design or add new features to its budget-friendly handset but i don't think apple really needs to do more these are kind of the necessities to get this phone to last longer by adding 5g and the most recent processor apple's ensuring that the current generation iphone se will last for a long time which is someone who is buying a budget smartphone desperately once on top of that apple is expected to launch a more of a redesign with the iphone se in 2023 maybe 2024 don't expect anything major it's still the budget phone but at least some sort of redesign or update from what we have now possibly
