1080s.You get an overclockable Core i7,five drive bays,two power supplies,and a 21-inch curved displayon a laptop.I'm not exactly sure what the audiencefor a 20-pound $9,000 laptop isbut if you want some insane performance,Acer also has you covered.Completely changinggears on the laptop side,there is the LG Gram 14.Now at first glance,this looks like a waymore normal computer.It's made of plastic.It's got some cool things likeyou actually have a 14-inch displaybut the chassis about 13 inchbecause it's got a small bezel.There's actual ports,a decent keyboard.What's cool about thisis that first of allit's incredibly lightweight.From the Gram name,it's less than a kilogramwhich for a 14-inch laptop is not bad.More importantly than that,it has a big 60 watt-hour battery.Yes!Pause!Stop the music!You heard that right.There's a laptop in 2017 that is stillthin and light, and they added battery.Isn't that incredible?Isn't that an amazing idea?Moving away from laptops,one of the absolutely coolest thingsat CES this year wasthe LG W7 Wallpaper TV.Not only was it insanely thinbut it's actually flexible.The idea is it's a 4K OLED panelthat you attach to your wall with magnets.When you're ready to take it off,you literally just peel it back.Along side it, LG was also showing offa brand new Atmos soundbar.The idea is that ithas top-firing speakersto fire sound off the ceiling to geta full surround experience.The only downside to all of thisis that the actual TV itselfcosts $8000, so likeeverything else at CES,it's really expensive.This is really cool!There's a 4K OLED panel thatis legitimately flexiblethat you can just stick on your wall.All right, so what was your favorite thingyou saw at CES?- Well, I really liked the LG room.They had a tunnel full of TVs.That was awesome.- Yeah, I think it was like 160or something like that?- They were all 4Kand they have a huge galaxy display.It's awesome.- Yes, it was all OLED.Was this your first laser projector TV thing.The only reason I say it like thatis that while it's an ultrashort-throw projector,it actually comes with adedicated 100-inch screen.You're really meant toonly use it with one side.Unlike a traditional projector,you can kind of adjust it,move it back and forth.It really has to be set up precisely.It has the full sound setup.The cool thing is because itis certified with that display,that means that they can actually sayit is going to be HDR compatible.It's full 4K.While it's priceybecause everything at CES is priceyas I keep saying over and over again,it's a cool piece of tech.We're talking about the best of CES.What was your favorite thingthat you saw at the show?- I think my favorite thing wasthe Xperia Projector.- I didn't see that.What's the deal?- It was a small projectorthat was probably about like that,probably sat that far off the ground.Once you turn it on,it has a camera on there.It also projects on the wallor you can have it project on a surfaceand use it like a tablet as well.You can also have itproject like a gallery wallon the wall if you're not going to use itas like an Android tablet or whatnotor watch videos.You can use it like thatand also anytime soonis the Panasonic window projection.Essentially, from the outside,this looks like any standard window.However, there's a full display built in.For example, if you're at a sporting eventand you're looking out the window,you can have live score,you can pull up player information.You can have all kinds of stuffthat is actually projectedon the window itself.This one might be a little ways outbut it is actually pretty legit.Something I didn't see a lot of this yearat CES were smartphones.However, what did jump out to mewas this dual-screensmartphone from Hisense.On the front it has 1080P OLED display.It's an Android smartphone.It's pretty standard stuff.However, when you flip it around,there's an E-ink display on the back.The idea is that you can havethings like notificationsshow up on the back.The cool part is since it's E-ink,it even works with the phone off.For example, say your phone diesbut you have your boarding passon the back of the phone,well, no problem,scan it and you're good to go.There were a lot cameras this year at CES,but what jumped out to mewas the Panasonic GH5.The GH series has beenreally big for a while.The GH4 was really oneof the first 4K camerasthat didn't cost a ton of moneythat was actually decent.The GH5 improves on that.Not only do we getimproved 4K recording modeswith higher frame rate,and better bit rates,and better color space,but we also get a 6K photo modewhich is kind of videobut not proper.There are also other cool thingslike it's a bigger bodywith dual SD card slots.You actually have in-builtbody means that those pixels are enormousand their low-light performance is insane.This camera goes up to four million ISO.You literally can see in the dark with it.On the complete other end of the spectrum,they had a 250 megapixel camera.This is more of an engineering prototypeso it's not somethingthat you'll be able to buyanytime soon.What was interesting was it was actuallyan APS-H sensor which isnot even the same sizeas like a full-frame like 5D or something.However, they pack 250 megapixels on it.Honestly, I'm not totally surehow useful that's going to be.Most lenses are notsharp
