Onda V116w 3D Mark score, 3G Speeds and 4K playback

**Battery Life and Reboot Issues**

I don't know why but maybe the battery meter's off can happen actually it did reboot into Android so maybe that's got something to do with it but that's not too good losing that battery knife just from a reboot it's not really acceptable. I've actually experienced some issues with the battery life of this tablet, and it's been frustrating at times.

**Benchmarking Results**

I ran a couple of benchmark tests here that I'll show you the scores are okay but I did actually have to repeat the unlimited score I first ran it after doing the extreme Benchmark and I got about 5,000 here now I think that was due to the heat so it was just throttling. Does seem to be a bit of a heat issue with this tablet I don't know whether it's just mine or maybe the way the thermal pad is placed on top of the CPU but uh it does tend to get quite hot and it does seem to throttle and get slower a lot slower and you do notice it so that's something to keep in mind with this device.

**SIM Card Slot Flimsiness**

Okay now I actually put a SIM card slot in here and something I wanted to mention that this slot here where you put the SIM card in the camera will focus for me it's quite flimsy it's actually starting to break there's a little plastic here if you can see that in the camera it's actually starting to peel off which isn't the best. I have to put up a super glue on there and then put it back on but it's starting to fall off it doesn't really fit in there that nice and I've only opened it maybe 10 times so far and it's already starting to fall a bit.

**Build Quality**

Without flap is not the the best. You can see the SIM card's got to go that way it's a micro SIM which is nice and I was just going to test the speeds in this video since I do have it in so make sure you put the micro SIM card in the correct way otherwise you might otherwise you'll have problems it won't actually detect it. I thought oh it's not working but it is and I'll just turn it on here and that should detect a network shortly.

**Network Speeds**

There we go 2° and I will have a look at the speed running just on that so turn off the wireless so we're now on the 2° this is my network here in New Zealand connect automatically and I'll just still quick speed test this s's got a huge amount of adverts it's probably slowing it right down so I just give that a second to load see the map hasn't even loaded in there there we go so I'll just try the test now and see what kind of 3G speeds I can get on the h v11 6w.

**Speed Test Results**

Okay we're finally starting here so you may want to skip a head that's actually quite fast that's not bad okay so around 4.5 it's actually one of the faster speeds I've tested so there's the result there not a bad speed I think it's actually quite good one of the faster speeds I've tested.

**Video Playback**

The last thing I wanted to do is just run a couple of photos sample photos 2K and a 4K clip and just turn the brightness up for that okay so this is actually a 4 CL K clip here that I recorded from my Note 4 so you can see there that it runs runs 4K video fine without any issues nice stutter there and sing is quite fast and you can see there's the two USB drives there.

**Overall Impression**

All in all the uh the screen is good as I just mentioned before uh the heat issue is something that I'm not really too happy about does get slow when it starts to get hot so if you work the machine a little you need to really give it a bit of time to cool down which I don't really find acceptable. I've never had any of these atom Z37 36 FS get to the sort of temperatures this seems to at the moment's around 67 but I've seen it get up to about 88 degrees you'll see that in my previous video and the sample images here this is running off the SD card so if a look at the screen if I turn the light off you'll see it better probably it's a 4K K video clip here this just the 2K trailer MKV gravity no problems playing there.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enChris from techtablets.com here how's everyone I have the on v116 W here in front of me I've had a bit of time with it now the system so just thought of go over my thoughts few pros and cons of the system I'll start out with the Positive uh the USB port here is really handy and you can actually run two USB port so here I've just used that adapter wasn't actually supplied but you can use an adapter from a micro USB to normal size USB and you can Easy Connect up two USB drives in here and use them both transfer from file to file so it's like you got two USB ports not a lot of tablets have that that is quite handy another positive feature is the screen I'm actually quite happy with the screen finding the view angles to be really good the brightness is one of the broadest screens I've actually used doesn't pick it up very well on the camera here but it's just crazy bright it's not really picking it up in the camera cuz the camera will adjust but when you see this in person it is uh very bright that's a lowest brightest setting and it's almost ey stripping reer burning bright it is really really bright brighter than the than the iPad Air brighter than the tias x98 a3g good screen nice and bright 1080p is uh nice it's still sharp enough and you can see there colors seem to be pretty good now a couple of negatives that I've just noticed that um battery life is it's it's good but there are a couple of funny things that that are happening I actually had around 58% battery did a reboot got back into windows and don't know if you can see there I have 29% left so I lost just over 20 something per just from doing a reboot I don't know why but maybe the battery meter's off can happen actually it did reboot into Android so maybe that's got hampers this it could just be my unit but really I don't find that too acceptable so if you like this video please do give me a like and do subscribe I should have some more videos up and coming in a
