**The Day's Adventures**

As I looked at the map, I couldn't help but feel nervous about our plans for the day. Our favorite Italian place was just 50 minutes away from our house, but with our dogs' limitations on alone time and the rain forecasted to make it a soggy day outside, we had to weigh our options carefully. We decided that the activity would take priority, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of anxiety about timing everything perfectly.

Our appointment was scheduled for 10 am, and we needed to arrive by 9:30 am to be on time. With the uncertainty surrounding the length of the activity and the lack of response from our contact person, I decided to check Yelp reviews to get an idea of what to expect. Unfortunately, no one mentioned anything about heights or obstacles, which left me feeling even more uneasy. As we set off, I couldn't help but wonder if we were in for a treat or a nightmare.

The day's first challenge was a series of obstacles that tested my physical and mental limits. One obstacle proved to be too daunting, causing me to have a full-on panic attack. The experience was traumatic, and I felt proud of myself for power through the remaining challenges, but also humbled by my own vulnerabilities. As we continued on, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the natural beauty around us – the mountains, the valleys, and the sheer force of nature that surrounded us.

As we made our way through the obstacles, I was struck by the bravery and adventure of those who came before me. Some had even attempted a free fall, while others were struggling to make their way along the ropes and harnesses. Meanwhile, our group was scaling walls, repelling down rocks, and zip-lining across water – an experience that left me shaken but also inspired.

After completing what felt like an eternity of obstacles, we finally made it to the end, exhausted and exhilarated by our journey. The anticipation of lunch at a brewery was a welcome respite from our physical exertions, and I couldn't wait to indulge in a cold beer and some well-deserved relaxation time. As it turned out, our original restaurant had closed down for renovations, but we were able to salvage the day with a great meal and excellent company.

The evening drew to a close with a call of exhaustion. The day had been long and trying, but also filled with moments of beauty, camaraderie, and sheer adrenaline-fueled excitement. As I wrapped up this account, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the experiences we'd shared and the bonds that had grown stronger throughout our adventure.

just finished getting ready and I'm going to be bringing you along for today we're gonna go on a walk downtown we're going to have a nice like pool Day barbecue situation we're gonna be grocery shopping tomorrow we are going to I think it's called Rocklin Quarry and it's a some kind of like Adventure type Park in Rocklin and it has like rock climbing it has a zip lining it has a ropes course and all kinds of other like wild things definitely not really up my alley I am very scared of heights so as you can imagine this was not my idea it's my friend Christina's birthday today and what she wanted to do for her birthday was go here on Sunday so we're going to be doing that tomorrow of course I will be bringing you guys along for that so this is going to be a fun video grab your coffee grab your matcha latte and let's get started got the pups all loaded up we are stopping by Jamba Juice grab a quick smoothie and it's walk-in time okay popping into Jamba Juice dollars and the large is what used to be a media when I worked there and so basically the larges are double the price and smaller are so confused when did John juice become so freaking expensive this is crazy okay so I caught Darren up on the situation with the cost and what we are having such an issue focusing today there we go um and he was blown away to say the least like how on Earth is it that expensive now I mean don't get me wrong it's good and I do appreciate that they made it thick this time oh wait I'm having so much trouble with the exposure today is your smoothie at least good yeah it's really good these pups are so happy to be out and about I can barely drink my Jamba because they keep pulling but we are at the Capitol guys I am so proud of myself look what I figured out I like put the leash inside of it now hands-free hands-free all right we have made it to the grocery store time to replenish foreign so we're getting most of what we came for here however we're realizing that most of it is not meals it's just kind of like snacks and things that we like to have in the house so yeah we're gonna have to figure that one out so we are back from the grocery store and I thought I would do a quick grocery haul for you guys so we did take in an empty tank of propane and swapped it for a full one we got a flat of water and then I'll show you everything else so I plan on making sandwiches so I got bread I got a Sourdough baguette I got sprouts I got trying to find where everything is I got avocado and we got four avocados because I'm going to use some for my sandwiches and then we're also gonna be making guac and then for the guac we also have Tostito chips and then I have this is like not in order also for the sandwiches aha jack cheese and sliced turkey and then I have everything else I need for the sandwiches and then want to do Capri salad so we have fresh basil sliced mozzarella and then we have tomatoes ah we have Roma no these are not heirloom I'm not sure these are like the regular like on the vine tomatoes and then snacking small tomatoes also for snacking we have a variety pack of salami string cheese and then pepperoni as just to kind of restock us we were out of sour cream so got sour cream uh also for the sandwiches to go with it I got Cheetos and Fritos uh restock we needed more Ranch Aaron's out of creamer so if you got Delight French vanilla and sweet and creamy and then also to go with the chips got some salsa it's the mission chunky salsa medium and then some shallots not sure what the plan is for those Darren grab those uh we are making burgers tonight so we're doing the Buns we already have the meat um Darren wanted um American cheese I used cheddar which we already have and then I think I might put some avocado on that too he prefers his lettuce wrap so we got some butter lettuce for him and then for the peppers they love Bolognese so we give them bologna as a little treat we got four packs of Lacroix a few different flavors we have lime lemon pure and another lemon because Aaron loves his purified water or not purified uh sparkling water um we got a DiGiorno pepperoni frozen pizza for the nights that we want to be lazy and then I got a 12 pack of the Kona Beer because you know it's summertime and I love Blue Moon I'm obsessed with blue moon however I decided to switch it up a bit so I got that and then just some paper towels because obviously you know gotta replenish on the essentials so and that is quick little summary of what we have I hope that was in Focus because I just grabbed this and I was not in Focus so hopefully it is but I am feeling like we did a great job finding everything we needed I did forget my reusable bags this time around so we had to um get some of the plastic ones so I think I'm gonna keep them in my car as a backup plan but feeling very good about this stock up and I'm gonna put everything away all the groceries are unloaded I unload the dishwasher reloaded it cleaned up the kitchen a bit and now we have cracked open a beer we got the Kona ones like I mentioned so this is the longboard Island lager or lager I think it's pronounced lager let me know in the comments because I always I switch back and forth because like I don't know which one it is and like I don't want to be wrong so I'm like at least I'm right 50 of the time right so logger lager It's gotta be longer right I feel like it's longer anyway Darren has a different one I think he has the pale ale but we are gonna go lay by the pool I'm gonna grab the speaker we're just gonna really live it up it's also supposed to rain in like two hours so it's been like summertime for two hours foreign you guys Amazon just came so excited they brought me um well they brought me my order uh so I ordered a another of the Sally Hansen Extreme Wear um silver storm so this is the metallic silver that I'm usually wearing I love it I do sometimes get the metallic silver at the nail salon but when I pin it myself this is the one I use and then I got dry shampoo I got Dove so usually I do use the dry bar dry shampoo however um this it was out of stock when I looked on Amazon and then it was like you can get three of the dub ones for like seven dollars cheaper than the uh dry shampoo or the dry bar one I was like why not like the dry shamp dry bar dry shampoo is like I think like 28 or 29 and I got all three of these for 21. and I used to use the Duff and it works very good as well so I was like why not okay so and I was able to get it in like 24 hours so I end up going with that very excited we're going to be reuniting with this I have not used the Dove dry shampoo in like I I don't know like three years maybe longer so hopefully it's as good as I remember it being and while I go back to laying out I think I'm gonna repaint my nails this morning I took off all the Polish I had my nails painted with the same one it was like so empty it was so hard to paint which is why I reordered it because I just need a fresh one but um yeah I took it off in anticipation of this arriving because I already knew I wanted to repaint you know so I'm gonna go sit out and then um Darren opened us another one uh so this one is the golden Cliff IPA so this one uh-oh has tropical pineapple really a fan of pineapple okay this is what it is and again it was in that um like combo pack so let's see slight hint of pineapple but it's still good it's still good I can ignore that it's a small enough amount that I can ignore okay so I'm gonna go lay out see you guys in a bit hey guys it's 4 30. dude my hair is crazy I just unclipped it and okay so basically it's been on and off raining and we've been hanging out outside despite that so then I clipped up my hair and well this is what we have so you guys witnessed it when things were going well and so just Judge Me based on what was happening previously not what's happening now also I did paint my nails look how pretty they are I do love the contrast when I'm tan and I have these like bright metallic nails they make me so happy yay um so yeah it's on and off raining we are still going to make burgers but we it literally just stopped raining okay so I think we're gonna make burgers during one of these little intermissions from the rain and I think I want to put avocado and Sprouts on my burger so I had gotten those initially for like my sandwiches and then we did oh we did make chips and guac didn't show you um but we enjoyed that we played like what is that game where you have something written on the phone and you go down if it's right you go up to skip it you know that thing we played that that was pleasant um we tied every single freaking round we tied um so we're just of equal intelligence uh forgot what else I was gonna say so we're gonna make burgers in a bit I will bring you back when that happens and yeah that's the new new you just couldn't even have a good day huh to come and Reign on our parade dinner is served so I put some mayo and avocado on the bottom and then my super thick Patty with cheese and then I put a bunch of sprouts and obviously I grilled the bun and it is large and in charge but it looks amazing and it smells amazing good morning guys we are getting close to leaving we need to leave in about another 25 minutes so Darren's showering right now when he gets out I'm gonna grab my straightener and quickly try to de-poof this um and then put on my jewelry but this is what I'm wearing so I've got this long sleeve crop top Nike and then I'm wearing a Nike sports bra in case it gets um hot out there because um some of my friends were like oh yeah and like if we start sweating like um bring a change of clothes for lunch and so I was like sweating what is happening so I did also bring like a loose like workout tank in case things really get um like hot but it's supposed to rain today it's only supposed to be in like the low 70s like and like mid 60s you know depending on the hour so I'm like I don't I don't know about all this also I'm very scared of heights so I don't know how many of the activities I'm actually gonna do so we are bringing multiple options and then I'm wearing um Lululemon is it called a line I think it's like those ones that technically aren't workout pants they're more of just like really small um soft um like leggings and then white Puma tennies so that's what I'm wearing I've already packed up what I'm going to be wearing to lunch so we're going to be let me try to get better lighting here there we go so we are going to be going to lunch after um we're going to an Italian place so very excited about that so I brought like jeans nude heels and then a really chunky white knit like off the shoulder sweater so I'm going to be wearing that afterwards so very excited I am a little nervous though because we live like 30 minutes from this place and then I know the Italian place you just that because when as soon she said we're getting Italian for lunch I was like okay another like 20 minutes up the road is your favorite Italian place which means that's like 50 minutes from our house and our dogs typically can only be alone for like between four to five hours and it's supposed to rain today which means we can't give them indoor outdoor access we have to choose and they are they love to dig in mud they love to lay in mud so they need to be inside today if it's going to be raining so now I'm getting nervous about like the activity doesn't start until 10 we have to get there at 9 30 so we've got to leave at like 8 50 and then afterwards lunch which is another amount of time away I'm I'm getting nervous about the timing of everything and yeah so I'm not sure if we're gonna go to lunch we're gonna have to figure it out I did text her and ask her how long the activity is and she never responded and I tried to call the place but they're not open yet we're like the first appointment so I can't call and ask I try to check the Yelp reviews no one says so we're just gonna be playing it by ear but that's what's going on good morning and yeah I will see you there I'm very nervous guys thank you you're gonna be a lot of heights so you see all these kids up here but do not be fooled this stuff is no joke so right here before this log where those two people are standing I had a full-on panic attack so that was fun I was like trembling sobbing it was not good but my options were to either go back all of those obstacles or finish the last two obstacles so I chose to power through and then we had to zipline across the water to the end that was terrible the one that everyone else did ended all the way up there where those people are then they had to like drop down on a rope so everyone seems to be a lot more Brave and adventurous than I am oh my gosh Christina Nick are like in the mountains like in the freaking mountains and then some of our group is up there this is this place is a crazy place so it looks like some people are gonna do the free fall right here and then all the way over here that's where the rest of the group is struggling their way along I do not envy them you guys okay so basically I had a full on panic attack on one of the little things and they told me basically that I could go back through all the previous obstacles or finish the last two it was so intense so difficult I feel proud that I finished it but you guys this was like traumatic so now everyone is still like repelling down things rock climbing and right now people are like scaling a wall so there are two other people who are done so I'm gonna go join them right now take off our gear because I'm staying on the ground the rest of the day also the Italian place that we're going to go to I guess isn't open until five and we're gonna finish around like 2 30 so we're gonna go to a brewery Brewery instead and I'm very excited because you know what I deserve a beer I deserve a beer uh today's been traumatic it's been long it's been a lot um and I deserve a beer see more people zip lining this is how you get into the park so you just zip line on in see it all starts fun and games and then and then this look no absolutely not oh there's Darren at the top there's Darren right there everyone else that's part of our group this is all of them just no no so for this one they started right here climbed up and have been like scaling the wall all the way around and honestly I don't know where it ends I guess maybe up here I'm not sure for part two and okay hey guys it's a few hours later we are home it was such a good day today so much fun um we ended up going to the restaurant that we're going to eat at and then their oven was broken so we went down to high Hand Brewing Company had a beer there and then went back to the original restaurant and then at that time they were able to take us well like 30 minutes later but we were able to get in great food great time wonderful company and yeah overall it was an amazing day it had so much fun so good seeing all my friends and I'm exhausted I am so exhausted and I think we are just going to hang out probably call it an evening watch
