SNES Classic Clone...What's INSIDE?

Here is the converted article:

I see if it actually has any option for HDMI or anything on it looks like it's just three screws I love this capacitor just hanging off the side here nicely done.

Okay did it yep Wow pretty much nothing at all amazing how they have six hundred and twenty games on this. There's your RAM chip right there is my guess that chip will will be where all your stuff is stored more than likely. What is it trying to see if I can figure out what it is? BL 256 so it's it's probably a spurt apart number eight, two fifty six meg storage which I don't understand how it has 620 games on it but I guess the game selection that's on it is quite possible.

So there you have it. There isn't much to this. It's still a really nice case at this point. You know I got a free case to do what I want with kind of like what I did here guys in my mini Genesis that I made as you can see here was all cut out for the power HDMI and I believe that was audio it might have been AV out but I don't think so, I think it's its audio on this. It's a Raspberry Pi 3 that I put in this unit looks beautiful yeah for you know joystick ports or hard drive or something could plug in with more games or whatever you wish.

I believe I put a 32 gig or whatever memory card in it, I'll do a video on this down the road but made just a little while back I have to reload it with so I was playing around and I messed it up a little so I can't really show it off today but just that idea there now I can make it into this idea here. I have extra Raspberry Pi 3s on hand and I love to make nice little mini systems, I don't know what I would do here it's all molded in so I have to do something completely different.

But yeah there you have it it's very very basic there isn't much to it, I'd like to say thanks Kevin subscribe to me recently I actually got to meet the guy at a yard sale and hey he's pretty cool guy and he told me why don't we check and see what's in this thing and we did. Disappointing there isn't much there but I mean let's face it they're not gonna have anything really technically advanced in here anyway, I mean I've never taken apart the Super Nintendo mini maybe if I come across a used one I'll do that and then we'll compare see if they actually built it kind of the same.

But I believe that unit there, I maybe based on the leap and that platform you know would be a lot more to it than this. This is a pretty bare system pretty basic system in fact the type of attack that I've seen in this is what I seen in the retro machine now. The retro machine is by my arcade which is or it's called my arcade by Dream Gear, I had to buy it because hey it looked pretty cool right.

It only had about two games on it that we're actually any good one of them was a top-down shooter and to be honest with you it's actually really good it's kind of like a knockoff of 1942 but actually really good and it's good enough to only unit because I think I paid twenty dollars or something for it at the time.

And I think they may have improved these this one was about two years ago, I think roughly about when they first came out and I had about you know boast I think it was 200 games on it. And to be honest it's all vapor wear but I seen one of these taken apart and the tech in this the screens cool I'll give it that but the tech in this is actually pretty much the same as this.

Same type of board, same idea you know maybe this is a little more powerful than this. It was the same idea so anyway I want to say thanks Kevin. It was fun I haven't tore anything down a little while and there we have it looks like this is pretty much destined for me possibly turn it into a Raspberry Pi little retro game console like I did with my little Sega Genesis that you've seen in the other footage.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: eneverybody Paul the last game hunter I'm back and a lot happier and it looks like things are going in full motion I was talking about getting ready to do a room tour as the rooms gonna change some plans have changed on that I still am going to do a room tour got to do some cleaning up the room is a little bit of it so I'm gonna get that done for you guys cuz I've made the promise it's gonna happen so hopefully midweek or by the end of this week I will have the room tour for you and you'll be surprised at how big or small this room is and what's actually in it it's pretty crazy so we did a video last week about this poor Super Nintendo mini knockoff and just it's crap the controller was just horrible didn't work right I got a refund cool so I had some people ask me what does it look like inside I don't know I say we tear it apart I say we find out we're gonna find out what's inside this thing what makes it tick how's it made like I said it's mod time so what can I do so let's check it out okay everybody as we remember we have the 620 game 8-bit system that was done in that review that well didn't do very good in the review let's take it apart see what it looks like inside Oh get to do another unboxing yeah okay here's the system and uh whoo well how does it actually going apart great question see if we got something underneath these and we do so these little legs come off as you can see there there's some holes here for the screws I can't see down there far enough but we'll find out in a minute and there's more I gotta be careful though it has a warranty seal warranty seal let's see if this is the right size Oh looks like we got something one screw two three hello we're getting there so four screws four sticker like the rubber pads and now we have this wonderful warranty seal which I'm just going to say what warranty seal I already got my warranty I'm just called the refund okay let's see this just comes up there we go moment of truth everyone okay so nothing is attached to the top one thing that's kind of cool you see this here look at where the cartridge slot is it actually has a little plate it looks like you could actually I could actually do some sort of a weird MA oh wait no no let's let's got a nice cutout it's not in the same spot oh well the idea was there what do we have not much to it so we have a controller board here for the joysticks I might be able to change that maybe to be some sort of USB or something but the problem with that is this is probably not written or or have control for it so this area here kind of limited on what I can do here it's pretty simple here's your on/off switch the reset yeah very simple very very simple let's let's take out that main board and see if it actually had any option for HDMI or anything on it looks like it's just three screws I love this capacitor just hanging off the side here nicely done okay did it yep Wow pretty much nothing at all
