PLAID WEEK DAY 5 _ DOLLAR TREE DIY - Plaid Gift Wrapping PT 2

My Favorite Thing About Gift Wrapping: A Plaid Week Series

Kind, captionsLanguage: enmy favorite thing about a gift is the wrapping. It always has been and especially at Christmastime it is my absolute favorite thing to do that's why I am doing a part two in my plaid week series of more gift wrapping ideas for Christmas presents. In this video, I'm trying to also mix things like farmhouse so I wanted you guys to see how things like this mix really well with plaid.

I decided to start by wrapping this present in this paper from the Dollar Tree. It's a great way to add some visual interest to the gift without spending too much money. The little bows are from either Walmart, Target, or Big Lots, and I used hot glue to secure them to the present. I then added some cute little white pom-poms to give it a snowy effect, which really brings out the polka dots on the bow.

I also wanted to show you guys how I use different wrapping techniques to create unique gifts. In this case, I used a combination of hot glue and tape to secure the ornaments to the present. The result is a beautiful and cohesive look that's perfect for the holiday season. Next year, I plan to add some colorful bulbs to make it even more special.

One of my favorite things about gift wrapping is repurposing old gifts and decorations to create new ones. In this video, I'm using some little ornaments from last year to give a bag a fresh new look. I love how the metallic gold tissue paper adds a pop of color to the traditional plaid tartan, which really makes it stand out.

I also wanted to show you guys how versatile my navy blue bag is. I've used it in part one and am now using it again with some different wrapping techniques to create a new look. In this case, I'm pairing the navy bag with a buffalo checkered plaid and adding some green tissue paper for a cohesive look.

As I mentioned earlier, I love how plaid and navy blue go together, but I also want to experiment with other colors and patterns. In this video, I'm using a red mat from Dollar Tree to add some visual interest to the bag, which really makes it stand out. The result is a beautiful and unique gift that's perfect for anyone who loves plaid.

My Favorite Thing: Repurposing Old Gifts

One of my favorite things about gift wrapping is repurposing old gifts and decorations to create new ones. I love how it adds a personal touch to the gift-giving process and makes each present feel extra special. In this video, I'm using some little ornaments from last year to give a bag a fresh new look.

I remember finding these ornaments in one of my old videos where I showed you guys how to make a beautiful wreath. They're so cute and adorable, and I knew they would be perfect for repurposing into gift decorations. I love how the different shapes and sizes add visual interest to the bag, which really makes it stand out.

In this video, I'm using some of these ornaments to decorate a simple Merry Christmas gift from Dollar Tree. I wanted to see what it would look like to add some embellishments, but in the end, I decided to keep it simple and just add a little dab of hot glue to secure the ornament in place. The result is a beautiful and unique gift that's perfect for anyone who loves plaid.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enmy favorite thing about a gift is the wrapping it always has been and especially at Christmastime it is my absolute favorite thing to do that's why I am doing a part two in my plaid week series of more gift wrapping ideas for Christmas presents in a plaid now not everything you're gonna see here is in plaid like this present here for example but I am trying to also mix like farmhouse so I wanted you guys to see how things like this mix really really well with plaid so I just wrapped this present in this paper wrapping it is from the Dollar Tree I think the little bows are from I think either Walmart Target or Big Lots and I used it last year so I just used a hot dab of hot glue to secure it to the present and then I'm adding these cute little white pom-poms to kind of give it like a snowy effect and it goes really well with the bow because the bow has polka dots too and yeah so I don't mind using hot glue it may seem like a lot to some people but again wrapping presents is my most favorite thing to do so I do put a lot of effort into it and I enjoy every single step of the way of it so here is the same wrapping plaid wrapping paper that I used in part one and I want to do something really different and I had these little ornaments that I actually used to put on my tree way way back in the day but I never got rid of them which I'm glad I did because now I'm repurposing them and using them as a present topper I wanted to kind of string them along the top of the present just to kind of make it look like I was hanging holiday Christmas lights and that's it so I'm just gonna take a dab of hot glue here as well and just line them all the way at the top and I think it turned out so incredibly cute and next year I'm gonna do this even more I'm gonna add like different color bulbs so it's gonna be really adorable but this one's probably one of my favorites this next president topper actually did last year but I love to repurpose and I don't always have to do something new every single time and I love how I put this together last year this little Christmas trees from Dollar Tree and then the like sheer red ribbon is gorgeous and I'm just going to use some tape to secure it to the back and voila and here's another bag that I'm repurposing from last year as well now green and deer always go with plaid for me and I love his little red boat he was in one of my videos last year so go check that out on how I made this little bag but I wanted to give it a little facelift this year so I'm using this metallic gold tissue paper to kind of give it a pop from the deer sticker that's there and it's all from Dollar Tree and it's so cute now because I love plaid so much I think a traditional color that really goes with plaid is gold so anytime I put gold on this plaid tartan plaid is amazing it just pops but I will say that I think now I'm thinking about it I think what would go great with plaid for a farmhouse feel would be white instead of gold but maybe next year I'll end up changing my decor a little bit but look how cute this deer is adorable now I have to tell you guys my favorite thing for whatever reason is this navy bag I mentioned it in part one I have to go back to Dollar Tree and find more just cuz I think it's so versatile and there's something about it that's matte that I just seem to really love I don't get it it's just a bag but anyway I wanted to show you guys how I'm gonna rope this Navy bag with the last one I did in part one so in part one I had a buffalo checkered plaid and now I'm doing like my traditional tartan plaid and I actually had this little combo here from a present from last year in last year's plaid week so go check that out and I'm using it differently because I added it to a bag rather than like a box gift and how beautiful is this whole combo and the green tissue I love it and here's another bag in my series this is also from Dollar Tree the red mat I love it and then of course the plaid tissue paper from the target dollar spot now this deer right here in this plaid I think was a gift from a subscriber once when I used to have a peel box and I thought this has to go on my present so look how cute that is just suck it on there it's amazing I don't know where she got it but it's gorgeous and thank you and I love it this adorable box I just found at Walmart the other day and I thought stunning it's a dollar 97 what and I love that it has like that brown paper bag feel with the metallic green trees but I also wanted to bring in that farmhouse a little bit and so I'm using this ornament also a gift from a subscriber she sent me a bunch of these ornaments and they're stunning and I love all of them and I thought the little tree one would be perfect but because I don't want to ruin the box I don't want to hug glue it to the box that way if I ever like decide to change the decor I can so I'm just using some tape and that's it and then I can take it off and put it on another present another year now in an attempt to keep all of my like presence as a cohesive collection not that it's not a collection this isn't close but you know what I'm saying I wanted to use another ornament similar to the one that we just saw before and this one has a deer on it do you see how gorgeous this is anyway for this one I am gonna hot glue to the present because then once she rips the paper off I can just keep the topper and put it on another present in 2018 so that was it pretty simple and here is my final gift that is going that I'm going to be sharing for 2017 I have loved sharing the present wrapping with you guys so much and I've hoped you've enjoyed this video but this one's very simple just a Merry Christmas ornament from Dollar Tree and I did play around I wanted to see like what it would look like to add a couple things but in the end I just wanted to keep it really simple and so I just did the Merry Christmas in the center with a dab of hot glue so adorable and I hope that you guys loved everything comment down below let me know when which one was your favorite\n"
