PRECISION BASS _ Ear Bud Challenge #3 _ NoiseHush NX80

**Precision Bass In-Ear Earbuds Review**

Upon opening the box, we're met with a sleek and premium-looking package that hints at the quality within. The earbuds themselves are packaged in a red and black design, complete with a flat cable and a gold-plated 3.5mm audio jack. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that this packaging is more about aesthetics than substance. A magnetic flap secures the earbud in place, but it's clear that this box is more about presentation than practicality.

Inside the box, we find a small baggie filled with an assortment of tips and a drawstring pouch. The baggie is black and comes sealed with a sticker, showcasing the company's attention to detail. However, as we continue to unpack the contents, it becomes clear that this packaging is more focused on protecting the earbuds during transit rather than providing any additional value to the user.

The earbuds themselves are also designed with precision in mind, featuring eight millimeter drivers and a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. They're capable of producing up to 10 milliwatts of power, making them suitable for various listening scenarios. With an impedance rating of 16 ohms, they should provide clear and balanced sound without compromising on bass.

Upon insertion, the earbuds are surprisingly comfortable, with a right-angle design that allows for a secure fit in place. However, this same design feature can sometimes lead to movement noise due to the constant pull of the cable. To mitigate this issue, we'll explore the use of different ear tips later on.

The inline microphone is present and accounted for, although it's unclear whether it will be used for its intended purpose. The one-button design bears some resemblance to that of the Seal Sound One, which might provide a convenient answer feature for callers.

**A Closer Look at the Earbuds**

Now that we've taken a closer look at the packaging and earbuds themselves, let's delve deeper into their features and performance. Upon first use, it becomes clear that these earbuds are not tinny in the least. They produce a rich and balanced sound that's free from any noticeable distortion.

However, as we continue to listen, it becomes apparent that there's a focus on precision bass rather than a broad frequency range. This means that while they excel at producing deep, rumbling sounds, they may struggle with high-end frequencies. In particular, when listening to music with super-high notes, the sound can become a bit harsh on the ear.

To address this issue, we've explored the use of larger ear tips. By swapping out the smaller tips for the larger ones provided, we've found that the sound is indeed improved. The bass response is more present and controlled, while the high-end frequencies are reduced to a minimum. It's clear that these earbuds are designed with precision in mind, even if they don't quite hit the mark on every frequency.

**The Verdict**

Ultimately, the Precision Bass In-Ear Earbuds offer a unique listening experience that's geared towards fans of bass-heavy music. While they may not be perfect, their focus on precision bass and comfortable fit make them an attractive option for those seeking a more immersive audio experience. However, it's essential to keep in mind that these earbuds are not ideal for listeners who prefer balanced sound with a broader frequency range.

In conclusion, the Precision Bass In-Ear Earbuds are an interesting addition to the market, offering a distinctive listening experience that's sure to appeal to fans of bass-heavy music. While they may have some limitations, their focus on precision bass and comfortable fit make them worth considering for those seeking a unique audio experience.

kilohertz frequency range to milliwatts a 10 milliwatts power and a gold-plated 3.5 millimeter audio jack let's get this open maybe there we go oh no they got all fancy it's got a little flap magnetic flap a clap that they still sealed with the sticker okay they're all about their packaging here crank it up I don't care about that I care about the actual earbuds cuz that box is now garbage alright in the box we have a little baggie this is no hush on it this is a nice little bubble tea bag it's black comes with drawstring be huge when it comes with bags once again we've got a red and black earbuds with a flat cable this is concerned specifically to me because this is what toast beat knockoffs we're actually still have them here somewhat similar design but obviously these should be much better earbuds they do come with some additional tips if my lesson from the first episode in this series is anything to go on then I will probably want the bigger ones that they come with and we will and I will swap them out and that should hopefully seal in some more base here got a few different ones I got looks like replacement mediums a couple smalls and then some largest so I'm gonna set the large as aside here so I know to take a look at them separately and a little bit and let's get the earbuds themselves again we've got a red and black design just glossy classic here with the tip is a right-angle 4-pole 3.5 millimeter connection and it does have an inline mic and they what looks like one button to answer your call kind of like the seal sound actually funnily enough the seal sound one's even had the mic in the letters and so does this one yeah well I'm not using that are you right off the bat they are very comfortable like the fit itself it's very comfortable but this right angle hang down design means that it's constantly being pulled on by the cable itself which is a less than ideal because that means I'm constantly hearing movement noise but when I switch to the bigger ear tips and a B that'll secure the fit a bit better I'm like hearing myself talk that's a little weird hello hello can you hear me now hello a lot of Time Warner fix my internet my internet your crappy company Time Warner hello 13 out with some Five Finger Death Punch the back got better shut go do and I'll never give up rocket League soundtrack is freakin awesome yes I bought the soundtrack to rocket League even though I mainly just sit in the rocket League menus listening to the music anyway so alright these are definitely not tinny at all there's no tininess to them whatsoever which is a very very impressive however it seems like they're very tuned which is the precision bass patterning they're they're factoring in there it there's not a whole lot of high-end at all it's very flat and not flat it's very like the sound is flat but not a flat profile like the high end is not very good it's all focused on the low end which since there's still ear buds and they're not quite as clear as normal headphones it's not quite as good I'm gonna swap to the bigger ear tips and see if that makes the difference it was a very easy process to swap the ear tips not bad okay so there was a little bit at higher volumes listening to something loud like Girls Generation kpop for example the super high bits got a little bit harsh on my ear which wasn't expecting I had to turn the volume down a little bit but using the bigger ear chips does sound a lot better but still well it sounds better like it cuz the sound is more present it's not leaking out because it's a better fit for me however there's still not a whole lot on my it sounds good sounds way better than the 86 cent ones still not perfect still gonna keep looking through again I'm not gonna find perfect ones I'm just wanting to try different ones out so this is the noise hush in x80 which will cost you about $14 I believe if you have $14 I Amazon link will be in the description below if you
