Jailbreaking iOS 9: A Step-by-Step Guide

The Pangu team has successfully jailbroken iOS 9, and we're here to guide you through the process. If you're unfamiliar with what jailbreaking is, click the link below to learn more about it.

Before we begin, please note that you need to be on iOS 9.0 point 1 or 9 point 0.2 to follow this tutorial. If you're not on one of these versions, please click the link below for instructions on how to get there.

First and foremost, always perform a backup before attempting to jailbreak your device. To do this, let's plug in our phone to our computer via USB and open iTunes. Click on our phone here in the top left corner, then over here under manually backup the phone, and click backup now. Wait for it to backup the phone once that's done.

Next, we're going to do a few things on the phone to prepare it for the jailbreak. First, go to Settings > Touch ID and passcode, scroll down through, turn passcode off, put in your pin, and make sure everything is off. Then, tap Settings to go back, go into iCloud, tap Find My iPhone, and turn it off. Enter in your iCloud password, and it should look like this when you're done. Finally, we're going to enable airplane mode.

Next, head to the developer site by clicking the link here beneath the video. You can find this link beneath the video and then we're gonna click the download button in the center and save that to our desktop once that's download. Then, right-click it and run as administrator. Did I understand? Run anyway your device should be plugged in and it should automatically recognize it and say that it's ready for the jailbreak click start to begin.

Click you've already backed up and wait for it to go eventually it will restart the device and it will ask you to unlock it and enable airplane mode again then it'll do some more stuff it'll tell you unlock the device again so do that and then if you swipe you'll find the Pangu app tap that and tap accept and it ok and wait for it to finish.

When you're done, it'll restart and it'll have Cydia. You can just tap that and open it up and you're ready to go there you go your jailbroken.
