Lenovo A6000 Budget Android Smartphone Gaming Review

**Gaming Performance on Lenovo A6000: A Budget-Friendly Android Device**

As I began testing the Lenovo A6000, I was excited to see how it would perform under load. Specifically, I wanted to put its gaming capabilities to the test. The device is marketed as a budget-friendly option with a price tag of around $700. Given this, I expected some compromises on performance, but I was eager to find out just how well it could hold up.

Upon launching the first game, Dead Trigger, I noticed that there were some frame drops, particularly when the level was loading. However, once the game was in full swing, I found that the device was still playable, albeit with some minor stuttering at times. The frame drops seemed to be random and didn't occur consistently throughout the gameplay. Despite this, I was able to control the game's protagonist without any major issues, suggesting that the device is capable of handling demanding games.

To further assess the device's gaming performance, I decided to move on to Asphalt 8. This game is notoriously graphically intensive, but I wanted to see how the Lenovo A6000 would handle its demands. Again, I encountered some minor frame drops during loading screens and occasional hiccups while playing. However, for the most part, the device performed admirably, rendering the game's graphics without any significant lag.

**Temperature and Heat Management**

As I continued gaming, I paid close attention to the device's temperature levels. The Lenovo A6000's thermal management system seemed effective in keeping the device from getting excessively hot. However, the back of the phone did get warm, reaching temperatures around 41 degrees Celsius at times. This is not unusual for budget-friendly devices with lower-end processors, but it's still worth noting.

To put this into perspective, I checked the front and rear camera temperatures during my gaming session. The front camera seemed to be within a comfortable temperature range, while the rear camera was slightly warmer, hovering around 40 degrees Celsius at times.

**Conclusion: A Decent Gaming Experience**

In conclusion, I found that the Lenovo A6000's gaming performance is decent, if not outstanding. While there were some frame drops and minor stuttering during gameplay, these issues did not detract from my overall experience. Considering the device's price point, I am pleased with its performance.

That being said, I do want to note that the device may not be suitable for the most demanding gamers out there. If you're looking for a smooth gaming experience without any hiccups, this device may not be the best option. However, for casual gamers or those on a budget, the Lenovo A6000 is definitely worth considering.

**Storage and Apps**

Another notable feature of the Lenovo A6000 is its ability to store apps directly on an SD card. If you keep most of your games and apps on the device's internal storage, this can help free up space. In my case, I installed several heavy games and apps directly on the SD card, freeing up around 3.5 gigabytes of internal storage.

I will be posting a full in-depth review of the Lenovo A6000 soon, including its camera performance, battery life, and more. If you're interested in learning more about this device, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for updates.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is ranjit and i have this lenovo a6000 with me which is a budget oriented android device and this sells in india for just around 7000 bucks that's just around us for 120 and in this video we'll be doing the gaming review and if you notice if you have seen my unboxing video you'll notice the interface looks very different because i've installed the google launcher and yes the google launcher works actually perfectly on this device before we jump into the review we'll play some casual games and even some heavy games on this device i'll just show you the configuration using the cpu z application and it's powered by a snapdragon 410 chipset which is based on arm cortex a53 architecture which is 64 bit enabled and it's clocked at 1.2 gigahertz it's a quad core processor and the gpu on this is the adreno 306 and it says it's clocked at 400 megahertz and it has a 5 inch screen which is a 720p hd screen and regarding the screen quality i'm happy with the screen quality the viewing angles are pretty good uh but the screen is a fingerprint magnet and uh one thing i noticed is that the sensors are actually pretty less on this device just to very basic sensors not even compass etc but i tested gps on this device and it worked now let's jump to the review and regarding ram it has one gig of ram so let's try this riptide gp2 and then we'll move to some heavier games so this is riptide gp2 so we just tilt to steer along and just notice the viewing angles the viewing angles are actually pretty nice on this device and again as i mentioned the screen quality is also very good i'm just amazed how leno managed to put such a good quality screen but just last month i uh checked out another budget oriented device from lenovo but that was simply not that great and as you can see it is handling this game pretty well but i did notice some minor lag at times on this uh we'll also be uh testing the temperature i have my heat gun over here uh so we'll play uh about 15-20 minutes and then check if this device is heating up with extensive gaming as you can see it is running this game actually pretty well for the most part so we'll just get out of this one and move to some heavier games and we can just hit this button for a while to get to the multitasking and just click this to kill all the apps and i would suggest that you do that if you're doing heavy gaming because it has just one gig of ram now let's move to dead trigger 2 so this is dead trigger 2 and the touch response is also pretty good on this device and the sound output also from the speakers is pretty good as it has dual speakers at the back i'll show you that a bit later remember some cream drops there glad to see you here great but if you notice the sound output is actually very good for ages damn it's closed hold on no problem you're ready for some trouble now i don't notice the lag it was there when the level started a little bit of frame drops but looks like now it's looking fine but let's continue so continuing and again when the level is loading i'm noticing some frame drops okay again i noticed that drought frame so there is some drop frames that i'm noticing at times it's not always but yes it is there let's continue and here it's playing fine so looks like there are some draw frames when there is loading of levels going on with dead trigger too uh let's move to the next game now so this is asphalt 8 and another thing with this device is that many of the games can directly be installed directly to the sd card uh you have an option you can just set that and for me many of the games are being directly installed to the sd card i'll show you that and for testing as you can see i've kept the graphics setting to medium level that is default and i'm using the uh on screen control steering control so let's play a few levels on asphalt 8 now so we'll start with the nevada level and we'll play one more level and i noticed frame drops there as you can see clearly see that and as i mentioned i'm using a sd card these most of these games are installed on the sd card and i'm noticing that lagginess when the games are just loading level loads etc thereafter it's not lagging as you can see now it's decent again a little bit of lag is there on asphalt 8 frame drops it's definitely there again that frame drop is there but very much playable i would say it's not like it's not playable and i would say it's playing the game decently but there are some frame drops at times it's not like uh it's without dropping any frames and as you can see there were the frame drops again we saw that frame drops and let's check the temperature it's slightly warmer now and on the screen uh it's around 37 degrees celsius let's look at the back and yes it's going up to about 41 degrees it did touch 41 almost 41 yeah 41 as you can see uh let's play one more level and see how it fades and we'll be playing the tokyo level now for a couple of minutes then we'll move to one compact five which is also a very heavy game again as you can see that lag was there but still i am able to control the car i would say decent actually pretty decent performance considering the budget-oriented price of this device is not even a mid high-end device or a mid-range device sort of entry-level android device budget oriented device from lenovo and as you can see it is running it actually pretty well but i won't say it's without any lag there is some stuttering it's not always but it is happening at times randomly again you saw that lag so we can conclude that for the most part it is playing this game actually pretty well but at times you will notice some lag issues as we are seeing so let's just get out of this one and again as you can see the lag there so let's get out of this one and let's move to one compact five and it's been over slightly over 18 minutes since we are started this gaming session so let's check the temperature as you can see on screen about 37 degrees almost 38 i would say and on the back it is again hovering around the 40 14.9 so it's getting a bit too warm at the back but not terribly hot i would say let's just kill this application also before we launch modern compact and nothing is running now and let's run uh modern combat 5 now so this is modern combat 5 fps game this is a paid game and a very demanding game i would say i would say but not the smoothest experience i have seen with this game but very much playable in fact if you haven't played this game on a high-end device uh you want to be missing anything again you saw that black so far so good there were some draw frames but mostly playable let's see how it handles now lot of action and as you can see it is handling it i'm surprised that it's playing this uh this well yes there are some door frames at times is and it's been over 20 minutes since we were gaming with this device and this level is also done so let's look at the temperature the phone does not feel very hot it's slightly just warm but let's also look at the temperatures now and again as you can see on the screen we are getting about 38 degrees 38.6 max but let's look at the back and here again it is around the 40-ish mark let's look here another 48 so maximum at that so the max temperature that we have seen is around 41 for this device yes it's a little bit warm but nothing to be worried about or it's getting hot like some other android devices too so let's get out of this one also now so what do i feel about the gaming on this lenovo a6000 i would say considering the price point of this device that is just around 7000 mah i would say it did perform actually pretty well for gaming yes there were some frame drops at times and i did notice that that was actually happening a lot when the game the levels were actually loading for example it happened even in dead trigger when the level was loading and also happened on asphalt 8. yes with asphalt 8 occasionally there was a minor hiccup here and there but for the most part i would say it was very much playable another good thing as i mentioned about this device is that you can install the apps uh directly to the sd card in the storage if you keep it on sd card most of the heavy games will be directly installed to the sd card as you can see my internal storage i still have about 3.5 gigabytes free whereas i added a sd card and most of the games and apps are now directly being installed on the sd card so that's a good thing about this device i'll also be posting the camera review and the full in-depth review for this device very soon so if you are not subscribed to my youtube channel hit that subscribe button and thanks for watching this is ranjit and i hope to see you in my
