**A Tour of Germany's Delicious Gummies**
As I sat down to taste some of my favorite German gummies, I couldn't help but feel excited about the prospect of exploring the country's diverse and colorful candy scene. My first stop was the HARIBO Lemon Gingers, a classic favorite that I've been searching for in the states. While they may be harder to find abroad, I was thrilled to discover that my local store carried them at an affordable price point of around $2 per bag. The flavor was spot on, with a perfect balance of zesty lemon and spicy ginger that left me wanting more.
**A Giant Gummy Party**
Next up was a giant gummy spider, which I must admit made me jump in surprise. While it may have been an arachnophobe's worst nightmare, I couldn't help but be charmed by its soft and tender texture. The black current flavor was scrumptious, and I was impressed by the fact that so much of it went a long way. I also got to try some giant soda bottle-shaped gummies, which were ridiculously large - I estimated they were around 10 times bigger than regular gummies! Despite their size, they tasted like real cola, complete with a satisfying sourness.
**A Glittering Strawberry Delight**
One of the most delightful treats I discovered was a marshmallow-like strawberry gummy that had a meringue-inspired top. While it may have been a bit too sweet for my taste, I loved the airy texture and the fact that it didn't feel like an artificial strawberry flavor at all. The powdered sugar icing on top added a fun touch, even if it wasn't my favorite part of the treat.
**A Metallic Marvel**
Finally, I stumbled upon some giant dragees in silver and gold flavors - they were truly stunning, with a metallic sheen that left me wondering what made them so special. When I bit into one, I discovered that it was more than just a pretty face: the hazelnut and chocolate flavor inside was delightful, and the fact that it crackled softly when bitten into added to its magical appeal.
**A Last-Minute Surprise**
As I rummaged through my bag, I found one last surprise - a tiny gummy that wasn't even a traditional gummy at all! Despite not knowing what it was made of (perhaps some kind of metallic material?), I took a bite and was blown away by its delightful flavor.
**Germany, Here I Come!**
As I finished up my taste test, I couldn't help but feel excited about the adventures that lay ahead. With only hours to spare before leaving for Berlin, I realized that I had managed to salvage a few tasty treats from my mishap - and I was eager to see what other culinary delights Germany had in store for me. As I packed up my bags and said goodbye to these scrumptious gummies, I knew that I would be back soon, ready to dive headfirst into the world of German candies once again.

(chuckles)Hmm.Mm?Mm, black current, delicious.I thought that might be cola, but that was black current.Super tasty, and a ton of candy in one little rope.Oh, by the way, this entirebag of candy cost me about $30.So along with giant candies, look at this. (laughing)Look at the size of that. It's like as big as my face.I think it's a marshmallow, I'm not sure. It's got sugar all over it,and it's a banana. So let's give that a taste.Itadakimasu!Oh yeah.Hmm.Tastes like, ooh it's very, very sweet. And it tastes like a Banana Runt, that classic artificial banana flavor. It's got a sandy textureon the outside, crunchy. On the inside it's marshmallow, but a little bit firmer and airy.Kind of like a circus peanut. Not my favorite. Not a huge banana flavor fan.Look at this.Isn't that great? This I thought, fromafar, was a giant shark, but then when I looked upcloser, it's actually a dolphin.Isn't that great?I've never seen gummy dolphins before, let alone giant ones.Look at the size of it.It's as big as my face.So it's wide on the bottom,so that, when it's swimming along,it blends in with the skyand you can't see it, right? That's why they're white on the underside. And then from the top, you can't see it,because it's typically gray,or, you know, the colorof the ocean water. But this is a gummy and blue is better. All right, let's give that a taste.Oh, super fresh.Really tender and soft.Hmm.Don't really know what that flavor is.Oh, just like blue raspberry, but a little bit different thanwhat I'm used to stateside. And the texture of this iskind of airy and spongier, just like the kind of two-tone gummiesthat you find in the states as well. What I'm really impressedwith all of these gummiesis how fresh they are. They're very, very tender, yethave a nice bounce to them. They taste fresh. And you should have seen the displays. My son and I had the best timepicking out all these different candies, and using our littletongs to fill up our bags.It was delightful. The displays at the shop were incredible.Alrighty, let's look at this gummy. It's a gummy egg.Isn't that fantastic? It's a great big one though.I've had one of thesebefore, but not this big.Look, it's as big as my palm. And it says on here, Fini. Can you see that? That's the company name.So let's give that a taste.Oh, that's a bit firmerthan any of the gummies I've had yet.It taste of vanilla.Much more rubbier in texture.Let's give the yoke a taste.Hmm?Hmm.It's a little bit tangy and fruity.I can't really decipherwhat that fruit flavor is.Maybe apricot.Definitely not citrus, but, hmm.Flavor of this one I don't like so much.Nor did I like the sharky so much either. But if you like berry flavors, you probably will like that.Next, let's try the giant,oh, look at this.Look how beautiful that is.This is another Fini brand. And it's a giant strawberry.Look, it's massive. For size comparison, look, here's the baby. (chuckles)Baby.Mama.All righty, let's give this a taste.I think this is gonnabe similar to the egg.I can already tellthat it's kinda firmerthan the other gummies.Mm-hmm.Mm, strong strawberry flavor though.Mm, I like the taste of that. The flavor is reminiscentof strawberry Starburst.Really good, like that one.I'm not gonna taste the small one, because I think it's going to be the same.Plus, because I'm shootingthis on my husband's phone, because my phone is stolen,I'm sort of limited with space. So please excuse thebrevity of my explanations.Oh, by the way, theseare my favorite gummies.HARIBO.The HARIBO Lemon Gingers. You can find these in the states, but they're difficult to find. These are my absolute favorite.Lemony and spicy and gingery. In the states, if you find them, they tend to be kind of pricey, usually like $4 a bag. This was about $2,so of course I bought some. They seem a little bit softer in texture. The ones in the states are harder.I don't know if that's a stale issue. The flavor is exactly the same.Zingy, lemony flavor,a nice kind of peppery, lemony zing from the ginger.Delicious, absolutely delicious.Love these.Nice and tangy as well.My kids also love these.Dangerous though,'cause we go through these, like, each buy a pack.My favorite, favorite gummies.Hmm, back to giant gummies.Look at the giant spider.Arachnophobes, I apologize.Although, this looks more like a tick.A tick is an arachnid, but it looks more like a tick to me.Let's give that a taste.Again, super soft and tender.Black current, terrific flavor that wedon't have in the states, but scrumptious.A lot goes a long way though. This is a very big gummy, but delicious, delicious flavor. All righty, check outthe giant soda bottle. And I think I have the baby. Here's the baby for size comparison.Isn't that amazing? It's gotta be, I don'tknow, 10 times as big.Alright, let's get that taste.Oh, so soft, and sour.Scrumptious.Really great cola flavor.Delicious.My kids are gonna love these. They are big fans ofcola-flavored candies, which you don't see somuch here in the states,or I'm not actually in the states, but in the states where I live.(paper bag rustling)All right, next, I wanna show you this.I've never seen this before.Thought it was so stinking cute.Look at that. It's like a glittery strawberry.Isn't that adorable? So I think this is going tobe, just like the banana,a marshmallow, but it has a little kindof meringue top on it.And look at the baby. (chuckles)So cute, right? So stinking cute. All righty, let's give this a taste.Let's see how a strawberry like this is.Could you imagine if thisis a real strawberry?Mm-hmm.Mm-hmm?Hmm, that's delightful.Very sweet.A marshmallow, but airy, more kind of meringue marshmallow, not as chewy.Just kind of an airy bite, and a nice strawberry flavor. Not artificial strawberry.Let's see what the top tastes like.Ah.Ooh, not a fan of the top. That's just like sugar, powdered sugar icing on top.Although, I think it does havea strawberry flavor to it.Don't like that so much, but this is kind of fun.Last thing,(paper bag rustling)this isn't technically agummy, but it was so cool.Look at these.Never seen these before.Look at these. They're like giant dragees.Like the decorations you put on cupcakes, but these are the size of marbles. And they're supposed tohave almonds inside them, but they come in silver and gold.(paper bag rustling)Aren't they stunning?Look at them.Oh, beautiful.Never seen those before. All right, let's give that a taste.I don't know what they're made ofto make them metalliclike that, but edible.Let's go.Oh,it's not almond, hazelnut and chocolate.Delicious.Because it's metallic,I was expecting it to be really hard, because I look like steel ball bearings, but it's not hard at all.It just crackles ever sotenderly when you bite it.Magical.I think this was themost surprising elementof this whole little party.Alright, my lovelies, that's it for now.Gotta conserve space on my phone,my husband's phone.Wish me luck. We're headed off to Germany tomorrow, going to Berlin, and I hope to find some otherdelicious things to eat,so I can salvage somethingfrom this mishap on my trip. We're having a beautiful time. And yeah, I'll see you in the next video.Alright, my lovelies. Thanks so much for watching.I hope you enjoyed that one.I hope you learned something. Please share this video with your friends.Follow me on social media.Like this video, subscribe, and I shall see you in the next one.Toodaloo.Take care.Bye.(lively music)\n"
