CES 2017 is Right Around the Corner: Get Fit with These Cool Tech Gadgets
Hey everyone, it's that time of the year again! CES 2017 is just around the corner, and I'll actually be attending the event from January 5th to 8th. I'm excited to work with Whirlpool and check out some of their latest home and lifestyle tech. If you can't make it to CES this year, don't worry – you can follow me on Twitter for updates and links to all the cool stuff we'll be covering.
Now, let's get to our first gadget: the Moy Kick Cup. One of the biggest things you can do to improve your health is increase your water intake. This smart cup helps you do just that. With an LED screen displaying your daily water intake, it reminds you with a beep or vibration when you need to drink more to meet your goals. The app also provides data on your progress and syncs with popular fitness trackers like Fitbit and Jawbone.
But what really sets the Moy Kick Cup apart is its ability to make staying hydrated fun. Who doesn't love a good reminder every now and then? And with its sleek design, it's perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their hydration game without breaking the bank (it's priced around $50 on Amazon). Next up, we have another fitness tracker that's sure to please: the Fitbit Zip.
The Fitbit Zip is not your typical fitness tracker. It has a clip-on design that makes it perfect for those who want to track their basics in a discreet way – ideal for professionals or anyone who wants to keep their workout routine private. With an LCD screen displaying vital information like steps, distance, calories burned, and time, this tracker is simple yet effective. And at under $50, it's an affordable option for anyone looking to upgrade their fitness tracking.
But if you're a serious athlete, there's one gadget that's sure to get your heart pumping: the Smart Rope. Ah, good old-fashioned jumping rope – one of my favorite ways to get in cardio back in the day. When I saw the Smart Rope at Best Buy, I had to snatch it up. This jump rope is equipped with sensors that track your jump count and calories burned, but the real showstopper is its 23 LEDs embedded into the rope itself. As you jump, your progress is displayed right before your eyes, making it an absolute blast. And with an app that syncs with your fitness tracker, you can track your progress and stay motivated.
Finally, we have a pair of earbuds designed specifically for workouts: the LG Tone Active In-Ear Buds. These buds are retractable, sweat- and rain-resistant, making them perfect for those who work out in the rain or get sweaty during their sessions. But what really sets them apart is their design – with an around-the-neck strap that's actually kind of stylish (I never thought I'd say that about workout gear). They also have play and pause buttons as well as track control, so you can stop your music mid-workout without having to worry about a dangling inline remote.
But here's the thing: what motivates us to stick to our fitness goals? For me, it's the promise of earning money. The app Packed checks in with you throughout the day to see if you've met your fitness goals – and if not, you'll have to pay up (in this case, by checking into a specific location for your workout). It's a fun twist on traditional fitness apps, and it might just be the motivation you need to stay on track. As we all know, most people drop off their resolutions around March or April – those slackers will have to shell out some cash!
Overall, these gadgets are sure to help anyone get fit with ease. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out, there's something on this list for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates from CES 2017, and don't forget to follow me on Twitter for all the latest news and reviews!
