A Day Out Shopping with Friends

We decided to spend the day out shopping with our friends and have a blast while doing it. We started by checking out some weird stuff, like a little man at George Washington, which we weren't sure what to make of. It was definitely a unique find, but not something we'd normally expect to see in a thrift store. Next up was a weird little wiener dog with holes in it - we were both intrigued and a bit concerned about its potential use as a cigarette holder. We couldn't help but wonder if the dog was actually four pencils or something entirely different.

After getting our weirdness out of the way, we moved on to some more practical shopping. We were looking for some barware for Tessie's new "elegant space" where she plans to entertain her friends and have a few mixed drinks. We found a great selection of glassware, including a set with gold rims that caught our eye. The trick was finding barware at a thrift store - it's not always easy to find matching sets, but we were determined to find something that would fit the aesthetic Tessie had in mind.

As we browsed through the racks and shelves, we came across some stylish pieces, including a cute little hat that looked like a ceramic flower arrangement. We loved the idea of a "peaking cat" - it was both weird and wonderful at the same time. One of us found a great set of decanters that looked like they belonged in a cool speakeasy or Hollywood movie set. We were both excited to add these to our collection.

We also stumbled upon some beautiful bar accessories, including a trio of decanters that we just had to have. And while browsing through the store, one of us found an urn that looked like it might be from a Chinese wedding - it was actually a beautiful piece with good fortune written all over it. We were both thrilled to find such unique and stylish pieces at a thrift store.

As we made our way to the checkout, we chatted about our finds and what we'd do with them when we got home. We were all excited to set up Tessie's new bar area and make it look as elegant and inviting as possible. The urn wasn't actually for ashes - one of us had joked about that earlier. It was actually a beautiful piece that would bring good fortune into their lives.

We ended up getting some amazing deals, thanks to the thrift store employees' knowledge and friendly banter. We were thrilled with our purchases and couldn't wait to get everything set up and see how it all came together. As we left the store, we were both excited about the prospect of decorating Tessie's new space and making it a beautiful and inviting area for her friends to enjoy.

We'd learned that some thrift stores are actually treasure troves, full of unique and stylish pieces just waiting to be found. We couldn't wait to go back and explore more of what PGs Workshop had to offer. And we were grateful for the experience - even if it was a bit incoherent at times, we knew that we'd have fun shopping together and finding some amazing deals along the way.

floor-to-ceiling stuff you know the best way to break in your thrift store shopping experience the weirdest thing challenge Oh two minutes ready set go no weirdo things mortal thing finally weirdest thing I have no idea what I'm gonna find but I definitely know that I'm in a way I'm gonna win walking through the aisles you kind of get to see the little knickknacks here and there that actually look like they're going to make sense in the space all right show the weird on three okay one two three a little man at George Washington general I don't even know the coffee espresso whatever and then a weird little wiener dog with holes in it which I feel like is probably four pencils but could be for cigarettes and not sure what have you dude come on guys I want okay it's a peaking cat I found the best thing ever it is a little hat that is a ceramic and has flowers all over it and it Peaks over something high it's pretty weird and totally cute what is the mountain yeah this is weird let's get some real stuff oh yeah it was get real okay let's get on with the shopping oh here's all the glass we're definitely I want to find some barware for Tessie she really wants to have an elegant space where she can have her friends over and entertain she's kind of a mixologist they have a lot of glassware they think it's gonna really look cool in the bar that we wanted to set up in the living room ooh I like these with the gold rim test there's a whole set here too the trick was finding barware glass or anything like that at a thrift store if you want to try to find sets if and sunglasses you know everything they have everything I mean I don't know maybe the Edie's will come back they already have we've Marigny I mean they have the classic comeback and you guys actually are you serious yeah we walks in with his bad attitude Joey has to ruin the fun always we're supposed to be shopping pretend we're something easy guys what this is hurts look what I just found oh that is actually really cute your bar you were listening we do need bar accessories that's cute although he did find some amazing decanters it's a trio of decanter we have to get it it looks like it's out under your TV I really want to give her a little bit of an old-world vibe so this scale is perfection look at all this blue and white and Tessie and I were putting together her mood boards everything was blue and white that's what you wanted look at this what is that an urn oops it's a lot an urn Eva and I think it would go good with the other ones that we got oh my gosh this is Pinterest coming true right now I mean personally I want my ashes spread at sea but you know who knows maybe you want to end up on Tessa's mantel you I love these bookends I love horses look for bookends at thrift stores because that's just something that you don't necessarily think of but when styling a bookshelf they are key all right we're ready to checkout so this urn isn't pretty it is like that might not be in our what is it I think that might be like a Chinese wedding jar I love when people who work in at their store are knowledgeable and Elizabeth is that these I'll say three but one of them six
