The Benchmark Numbers You Can Expect from this Gaming Computer
Those are the Benchmark numbers you can expect to get from this gaming computer and they are very impressive even when you're only using a single card in games like Batman Arkham Knight. However, we don't stop there. This is the part where we talk about the actual real-world game performance and what it's like to use this PC with both G-Sync monitors, TVs, and Ultra wides.
The Rog Swift 4K G-Sync Experience
When you pair it with the Skylight build, and it's really impressive. It genuinely is. Don't for it's got an IPS panel as well, even games like Batman Arkham Knight that only utilize a single card with Gsync you can still get some pretty smooth and stutter-free gameplay. And anything where you're going to want to use a controller, this is my go-to monitor of choice. It really is. Having said that if you want to play mouse and keyboard games like Civilization, this is still going to be the best place to do it. 4K super Sharp Images really do come into their own, however, if you want to play a mouse and keyboard first-person shooter in 4K, it's simply too demanding in my opinion, and even 60 Hz is not enough for me, and I would probably rather play at 120 Hz on a monitor with a lower resolution.
Moving Over to the Ultra Wide Camp
We have an ACA running at 85 Hz at a resolution of 3440 x 440 on an IPS display, and the experience in the right title really can be pretty breathtaking. Because we've got two cards running SLI, we can really push some pixels sadly, it's the same story as Batman Arkham Knight with just CA 3 though, where we only get the benefits of one card. But I believe SLI might come in the future. Having said that, it still fares really well, and we can get some nice high frame rates, and have your games looking amazing.
Getting the Most out of an Ultrawide Display
To get the most out of an ultrawide display, I think you really do have to start playing some racing games. The immersion that you get from an ultrawide display is probably my favorite place to play these games rather than say a 4K TV or a 4K monitor, and of course, they're a bit easier to run as well. So, you're going to be able to push every single pixel at a really high frame rate on your ultrawide display. But my absolute favorite experience with the Skylight build has to be with the Rog Swift 1065 Hz G-Sync IPS display. It is truly mesmerizing how smooth Call of Duty Black Ops plays when you put it on this monitor. SLI is supported correctly, and the experience is just amazing. It really is.
The Importance of Monitor Choice
Everything is buttery smooth, there's no stutter, there's no tearing, and it's just the game you are in the game. And properly immersed if you switch over to Star Wars Battlefront, it's a very similar story, you get a very high frame rate, and this is where having two 980s comes in handy rather than having two 980 TI throw two 980 TI in here and you're not really going to see much of a benefit. This would cost you an extra £300.
One Last Experience
This is gaming bliss but I have one more experience to talk to you about, and that's the Skylight build plugged into over HDMI 2.0 to a 4K TV. Once again, boot up Batman Arkham Knight, and it looks fantastic, but of course, we're not going to see the benefits of SLI here, and you might be wondering why are you testing Batman Arkham Knight if you know it doesn't support SLI, that's the point if you're getting into SLI, you're going to need to know that there will be drawbacks.
The Skylight Build on a 4K TV
Boot up The Witcher III though, and the experience is so so good. It really is having such a large epic game on a bigger screen I think really does help to magnify how good the game looks. But because we don't have G-Sync, we are going to see stutter and tearing, and you're going to want to run your game at C 60 frames a second. And so with that, it brings us towards the end of the video, sadly the end of the series.
