**Bathroom Decoration Ideas: A Fun and Quirky Approach**
When it comes to decorating our bathrooms, we often opt for traditional and elegant designs. However, what if we told you that there's more to bathroom decor than meets the eye? In this article, we'll explore some fun and quirky bathroom decoration ideas that are sure to bring a smile to your face.
**Almond Oil Soap Making**
One of our favorite bathroom decoration ideas is making soap using almond oil. This simple process involves melting a soap base color one part of it with makeup pigment, then adding a perfume bottle mold made from rubbing alcohol. The mixture is poured into the cap, and the rest of the mold is filled with clear soap base. To get rid of bubbles, spraying the soap with rubbing alcohol is all that's needed. Once it hardens, the soap is scraped off one half and poured onto another half, creating a unique two-in-one design. The top layer is smoothed out with a knife, and the entire process is repeated to create identical soap hubs.
**Customizing Soap for Different Personalities**
We also explored how to customize soap bars to suit different personalities. Cindy's soap looks like a giant nose, thanks to her love of funny things. Her process involved stick-ing a long tube into a bottle, pouring green liquid soap into the bottle, and creating a big nose out of light clay. The clay was then hollowed out at the back to create a nostril, which fit perfectly inside the bottle. To add some color, acrylic paint was used to make the nose look natural. On the other hand, Princess's soap is much more realistic, with a nose that's dripping with soap.
**Towel Decorating: A Fun and Creative Approach**
Another bathroom decoration idea we explored involves decorating towels. To start, we outlined a lip shape on a sheet of foam core using a pencil, cut it out using a utility knife, and then traced the design onto red foam paper. The allowances were cut into a zigzag pattern, which was then wrapped around the foam core piece. To add highlights, white acrylic paint was used to create a shiny effect. Teeth were made from white foam paper and defined with a black marker. A tongue was created out of pink towel fabric, which was hot-glued to the back of the foam core piece.
**Die-Hard Candy Lovers' Towel**
For those who are die-hard candy lovers, we created a decorative towel that's sure to delight. This design involved sewing a rectangular piece of beige fabric onto a brown towel, crumpling gold fabric and sewing it to the edge of the beige fabric to create a foil-like effect. Rectangles were cut out of dark brown towel and sewn into frames, which were then attached to rows on the towel in a bar-like formation. A chocolate label was drawn between two strips of paper tape, which was colored with fabric paints to match the size of the chocolates. To complete the design, elastic ribbon was sewn to the back of the towel as a loop.
**Sneaker-Shaped Toothbrush Holder**
We also experimented with creating a sneaker-shaped toothbrush holder using a plastic cup and light clay. The cup was shaped into a shoe, let it harden, and then drew parts of a sneaker design onto strips of white foam paper using a black marker. These were hot-glued to the cup, along with some elastic ribbon that served as laces. Finally, toothbrushes were placed into the cup to create a unique holder.
**Flower Pot Toothbrush Stand**
Last but not least, we created a flower pot toothbrush stand that's sure to bring a smile to your face. To start, a piece of masking tape was wrapped around a flower pot, which was then coated with pink acrylic paint at the bottom part. A gold strip was added on top, along with a white polka dot pattern made using the handle of a sponge. To add some color, dots were created using gold paint and glued to the center of each dot. Styrofoam balls were also used to create flowers, which were painted green and then hollowed out at the center.
