So, you have an iPhone 2G and you want to jailbreak it. Don't worry, I'm here to guide you through the process.

As soon as you're done with that, we're pretty much done! All you need to do is click Start TSS Server, which will get your device all set up for jailbreaking.

Now, go ahead and open up iTunes on your computer - make sure your device is still plugged in. You should see a screen telling you everything about it.

At this point, it's very simple: just go ahead and restore to whatever firmware version you have the SHSH for.

To do this, with a Mac, hold down the Option key while clicking Restore. With a Windows computer, hold down the Shift key and hit Restore. I'll be using the latter method since we're going to open up iTunes to pick out our own firmware.

So let's go ahead and restore to 4.0.2. Click Open and then hit Restore. This will just give it a minute to load.

And that's it! Your device should now be jailbroken in no time.

it okay so to begin with all we need to do is download a very simple program called the firmware umbrella i'm a big fan of this program it's very lightweight you don't need to install anything and works really quite well so let's go ahead and show you how it works um so to begin with let's go ahead and just download it just come to the firmware umbrella.blogspot.com and of course we'll have the link to in the description right below this video so just come right down here and there are some links right here on the right side so you can go ahead and download for mac windows as well as linux so go ahead and just uh download it to whatever you want and then let's go ahead and show you how it works okay so now that you have the program go ahead and just open it up and plug in your ipod iphone or ipad whatever you're looking to downgrade okay so this is a very simple process let me just go ahead and walk you through it basically there are two different ways now if you've used this program before and you've already saved your sh sh blobs then it should be no problem all you do is just to make sure that you know what you have just click display shshs okay so as you can see here
